  1. This store is always a must when we visit myrtle beach !! And we do so once a year !! The staff here are super helpful and out of over 20 years of coming to myrtle beach I have never had a problem !! We always buy groceries for the week and they have always been stocked !! The bathrooms are super clean !! All around great store !! Highly recommend !!!

  2. On Vacation in Myrtle Beach. We made a quick stop to Walmart to pick up some necessities. My family went to this Walmart today & we were met with so many rude employees! Our experience was horrible. A black manager working the floor was so rude to me & my husband & small child. A homeless guy who I later found out was an employee named Bill an older white guy who works the front door was extremely rude! I will not be returning to this Walmart. Do not go to this Walmart. It’s very Ghetto just like the employees.

The twins girls Maria & I didn’t get the other sisters name was the only ones who works there that were very nice & helpful. They deserve better.

  3. It was good. Very friendly shoppers, no long lines, unlike where I live. Most of the employees (checkers etc) were pretty rude and had an attitude of not caring, “so what.” But there was one that stood out as helpful and friendly.

  4. This past Saturday I went to this location hoping for a pleasant visit. When it was time to check out I decided to go by the self-checkout and when I asked the clerk if the lane was open he shrugged his shoulder and blew off at me. The lights were both on both registers as well. There would be no way of me knowing if it was available or not. No need for such attitude. I went to another self checkout register near that one as he never answered my question. He completed my purchase.

I then proceeded to exit the store and there was a older gentleman by the door and he and it looked like the manager was telling everyone to “hurry up” like we are children! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and hearing. From my understanding, they closed at 11:00pm and it was 10:50 pm and I was going as fast as I could with my shopping cart.

I completely understand that it is the end of the night and everyone is ready to go home, but if I spent my hard-earned money in this establishment I should be departed with a smile or a “Have a good night” NOT A “HURRY UP”

  5. My favorite?? The Buzz Ligthyear shoes 😍
I found all that I needed and more.
    Good prices

My 2016 Toyota 4 runner was due for an oil change. My normal repair shop in Michigan could not get me in before we left on our trip to Myrtle Beach, so I decided to give Walmart a shot. Write up guy was polite, I ask him how much for a 0w20 synthetic oil change. He replied $54.88. My local guy is $60 out the door so that sounded fair.I also asked if it was Castrol oil (that is what the sign indicated) He said that or Mobil 1, he wasn’t sure which one they had in the tank right now. I asked how long should I expect and he stated 45-an hour. Great, I’ll see you in an hour. I come back in an hours time. I stand with 2 other customers for 10 minutes waiting for someone to help us. I then start searching for an associate. First one looked at me like I was speaking a different language so I moved on to the next. This associate told me she would locate the person to check us out. 5 minutes later, someone finally showed up to help. She cashed out another customer and it was my turn. I gave my name and she found the bill and keys. $80.29 is your total. What? I inquired. I was quoted $54.88 Ummm you have a special oil filter that was $14.47 and it took an additional qt of oil $9.02 but they did give you a $2.22 discount (nervous laughter).I stayed I pay $60 at my local shop and never heard of a special filter. I paid and left upset at the bait and switch. I get to my car and find oily fingerprints on the door and the sticker shows Penzoil oil. Moral of story, Walmart should not be in the auto business. What a rip-off. I guess they Roll forward the prices in that department.

I had such a nice experience at the vision center. I’d been holding onto a pair of glasses that had all but been destroyed for a year and a half. I thought I would just check while I was in the area to see if they would fix my glasses. Very nice lady named Mary and another technician whose name I’ve forgotten fixed my glasses for no charge. Your kindness was very much appreciated.

Probably one of the better Walmart in the area staff was friendly but I definitely like the guy in hardware on given me advice on spray paint, making mountains for Christmas village. Was awesome. I do wish they hire more cashiers.

Today I stopped at this store with my wife to pick up a couple things. When we went to check out there was 1 cashier open and she was lined up. We only had a few items so we went to self checkout. As soon as we started a Walmart employee came over to make sure I was not stealing. It made me sick. And when I left the store another person searched our buggy to make sure we didn’t steal anything. I will never go back. And will tell everyone I know how Walmart treats their customers.

We placed an online order for pickup only to get a message it was delayed by more that 2 hours. So we went to the store. Most of their produce was out of the fridge. The small part that was still there was covered by a tarp with no sign if you could take the products or not. There were absolutely no one doing online pickup requests. The store itself was freezing cold. Don’t recommend this Walmart.

Well stocked. Clean. Quick self-checkout (I rate my cashier 10 out of 10). Sorry, that they posted up the whole parking lot no truck parking, though. That’s vehicle discrimination by golly. Their parking lot so they can do as they want. I’ll have to start shopping where I can park the semi.

Imagine my surprise upon finding these festive “items!” Perfect for the upcoming get-together with the gang.

Store was fine but it was overcrowded with people getting checks cashed at customer service Western union line backed up to door!!. Didn’t wait too long 4 checkout for merchandise. I was told this was bad side of town by a customer & cashier- They told me 2b safe & careful🤷‍♀️probably stay NW side towards Chapin where usually shop but we were in vicinity needed items.

I love shopping there but I hate the checking out part. There are never more than two actual people checking ppl out and I refuse to go to the self check-out if I have a buggy full of stuff! I feel like it holds everyone up when you have a butt ton of stuff! It should be a 10bitems or less kind of thing in the self check-out!

It’s a really mass retailer with lots of groceries, clothes, toys and a pharmacy.. the items are easily accessible and well labeled. Easy accessibility to the store including wheelchair.
