  Had our own section of the beach which was great. Very quiet on the day we went but we did go closer to the Naze tower end so that it would be more peaceful.

  Beach was clean and clear, we took a walk up to nature reserve from Walton pier viewing the sites and had a great time, the only let down was the public toilets by walton shops opposite the beach they need servicing more frequently and the sanitary bins empty more offten.
  We used other public toilets on our walk, overall we had a brilliant day and met lots of lovely locals.

  This really is a pretty amazing beach, no stones or pebbles, just lovely sand. Pay and display parking by the station, definitely worth a visit.

  Lovely place, not very crowded. So we could set up a nice place down the beach. Public toilets need to have some cleaning staff permanent to keep them clean. The council could charge 0.50 £ for use and keep them clean.

  We had alot of relaxing, definitely not my kind of beach but we had fun. There were a lot of sea weeds and the public toilets weren’t well kept. These are purely the doing of guest or visitors.

  This place has to offer a little bit of everything for all ages. Themed Park, arcade, a lovely walk by the sea or a nice swim in the summer times. Unfortunately it is not the best beach because most of it is covered in with a mixture of sand and pebbles (smaller rock). In the weekend and especially when it’s hot outside it can be quite crowded. We had to walk about 20-25 minutes away from the Pier just to find a more aired spot to put down our blanket

  When we visited- it was a typical British summer

  – raining and no luck-

  But there is no sign of water – prefer south side of coastal area like Cornwall or Bournemouth.

  Good beach, many shops within easy each plenty of food options as well as a great amount of parking can be costly free from 6pm. Also has a mini theme park with a few rides otherwise plenty of other children’s amusements.

  Fantastic beach! Very picturesque, clean with lots to do. The arcades and rides along the pier are great fun, there’s shops and places to eat all around and the beach is lovely and enjoyable to spend time in.

  Clacton on Sea beach is Sandy and clean beach. There are plenty of shops around. There are public toilet facilities in and around the beach. There is plenty of free parking available. But you have to get there early to get the free parking slots. If you love waking around you have lot to explore. There is a RSPA nature reserve around area. You can find variety of birds around this area. There a lot of fish and chips shops around. I will post few shot videos on YouTube “London Aaga Bits” channel.   A clean and tidy beach/promenade. It’s been quite a few years since we were here last and there are lots of changes. A nice sandy beach and ares of the beach you can take your dog.

  What a lovely beach to go to! Parking space, clean toilets, barbecue areas and big park space ideal for kids to play football or picnicon the grass!. Perfect for family and birthday celebrations! Super easy access from the train station! We will definitely go back 100%

  One of the best places to do BBQ at beach in essex. Very economical parking fee and bbq area is right in front of the parking.
  Clean toilets nearby and other basic amenities.

  Calm place to go and chill…families, friends, couples and single people were all enjoying the views and beach. Great toilet facilities and lots of benches to sit on for people who can’t manage walking on sand. Ample disabled parking.

  Nice place with no crowds, not even on the sunny day we visited. Lots of sea and sand and not much else. Great if you don’t need to be entertained and you want a little peace. A small shop and toilets adequate. Close to Shoeburyness train station.
