  1. Loved this place! We stayed in their upgraded Suite and it was fantastic. Well appointed, shower pressure was strong, loved it! Beautiful building. Only minus was the loud laser show in the evening which was really annoying from our room…… also the Pool leaves a lot to be desired. The floor of the pool is terrible!!! Rough surface like unfinished concrete. People – GET IT RESURFACED SMOOTHLY!! It’s only a bit over 3 feet deep so very shallow for a real pool.

  2. Stayed for 10 nights, and this hotel has some of the best staff I have encountered in any hotel I have stayed in in the United States. From Housekeeping to Front Desk and every restaurant in the hotel, every single person was warm, polite and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms I was in were very well kept. Its perfect location lends itself to easy walking to a multitude of restaurants and events.

  3. Best hotel experience I’ve had since we’re back to traveling post-pandemic.

The Consider It Done button on the phone is genius. Every experience from housekeeping staff, to check in, to concierge was exceptional. So many small but important touches, like 2 bottles of bottled water in your room everyday.

    Highly recommend.

  4. Wonderful conference hotel! Close to airport, across from DC, in MD. Super staff throughout stay in all areas. Clean, nice views, beautiful atrium with great views from even the elevators! Looking out at DC/VA and amazing sunsets! Walk out to the waterfront, across from many great dining and shopping choices. Really enjoyed staying here! Would definitely stay again!

  5. What an amazing place! We came to the Ice exhibit and enjoyed every bit of this resort. Can’t believe we waited so long to come here. The Ice exhibit was wonderful but bone chilling cold inside; don’t expect to spend more than 20 minutes in that place. The inside of the resort was beautifully adorned with holiday decorations. Many great photo opportunities. Come for the Ice exhibit, come for other events, come to stay … You won’t be disappointed!

First time to the convention center for Awesome Con 2022. Huge place with many halls and areas to meet. Multiple locations for bathrooms and some food selections as well. The staff was very helpful and super friendly.

Awesome con was in fact awesome! Lost of cosplay, huge areas for original art, and many vendors for comics, cards, games, and so much more. First time coming to one of these and was very happy to be able to go. Next time will plan a bit better and spend more time and checking out the table top gaming areas as well.

We visited the Walter E Convention Center for Washington DC Auto Show 2022 Event.
This place is super convenient, right next to Metro station and surrounded by all locals restaurants.
The facility was maintained very professionally, the security was organized and the restroom also very clean and super shiny!

The Washington DC Auto Show 2022 is a must to visit! It’s an eye opener event especially if you’re planning to buy your future cars.
We had a blast visiting this year, with all the pandemic precautions, all were organized professionally and you can definitely social distancing without problems.

We’re spoiled and entertained by the numbers of cars on the show, all come with new technology and amazing design, especially the electric cars and the muscles cars. Not forget to mention about the electric buses! Check on the exotic cars section and the oldies cars just to be mesmerized!

Don’t forget to check on the event while they’re still around!

I spent a week attending an event at this convention center. The place is fantastic! It’s huge! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It was very clean and felt safe. There are ample food and beverage choices within and nearby the convention center. The technology available at the convention center was good and modern. Very ADA accessible. All in all, a great place for big events.

This is a beautiful convention center. It’s huge as well, so be prepared to get your steps in. The staff working the AUSA event were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to attending another event here. Note: there are restaurants, a business center and hotel connected to this convention center.

This place is HUGE! A great space for big events. I couldnt tell what was otakon staff vs convention center staff but some of them needed to check their attitudes. I think the staff could benefit from some crowd training and proper ways to talk to people.

Unique government building housing many federal agencies. Open to the public after a short security check. There’s quite a large food court on the lower floor. Other than government offices & conference rooms contains some shops, a convenience store & a food court.

Has a ton of parking space. I was able to find a parking during the peak cherry blossom festival. This building also has food courts like subway and other fast food place.

Nice building with a food court on level c, the lower level. Lots of places to eat at in there and right near the hustle and bustle of everything, and it’s not advertised so give it a try.

The staff was so nice and friendly. Richie Rich helped ease the pain of a closed pool with ice cream for my kids. They were so happy after a hot day outside. Room was clean, modern and spacious. Pillows were a little small but the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was hot but nothing special. Both mornings they didn’t refill the half and half but we could see they were working hard to get it all done for the crowd. The staff member at the bar during the happy hour was friendly and quick. Overall a great stay despite the renovations.

We felt very welcomed by Katy the representative at the front desk. We arrived at the hotel feeling overwhelmed She definitely made us feel welcome and at that point we felt our vacation had just started. Not only was she beyond helpful with our registration process, but answered all the questions we had about things to do around the area. Very professional and courteous. The room was amazing as Katy promised it would be. Very spacious and clean. Service was amazing overall. Thank you Katy for all of your warm hospitality. You really made our trip much better.

First time visiting DC with the family, I was hesitant about choosing this hotel due to current renovations. I chose it anyway because it is within walking distance to the national mall (about 15 to 20 minutes), restaurants, and the Metro. All staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially when my flight was cancelled and I needed to extend my stay. Spacious rooms, nice area, quiet a night. This is a family friendly hotel, so you will occasionally hear young children playing. My family enjoyed the hot breakfast, cereal, fruit, and yogurt.
I would suggest having fans in the bathrooms. Valet parking is roughly $60 a day. Will choose this hotel again the next time I’m in DC

Perfection. If there is a word to describe this hotel, that is the first one that comes to my mind.
Everything was perfect: friendly staff, stylish, clean, spacious room, comfortable beds, sofa bed and pillows, valet parking.
The breakfast is really amazing! and the (included / free) “Happy Hour” with refreshments and snacks, it is an excellent break for the whole family.
You will have a five stars hotel experience for half of the price.
The location is perfect too: just a couple of blocks from the White House, Ford’s Theatre and other must see places in Washington.

This was my first time back at this Embassy Suites by Hilton in more than 6 months. The staff has not changed, I’ve always had an excellent/outstanding welcome and gracious treatment and they continue to impress.
Most of the rooms have been upgraded and remodeled, and are amazing. As an Honors Reward member, I especially enjoyed the room upgrade on arrival. If ever in DC, this is the next best place to call home. Breakfast is included, and the omelets are unmatched by any hotel restaurant in the region. I’ll give you a sneak peak of what to expect….. never mind the guy in the mirror

Staff was absolutely wonderful… at least the ones that I encountered and engaged with. The location was great and made walking easy. My room was just okay and didn’t appear as clean as expected. The bed looked slept in and had a stain, but I was able to quickly get the bedding changed. The shower had stains and residue from previous users (shampoo, hair color, soap, etc) and felt sticky. The room was very spacious however. The noise level was minimal.

After reading some of the recent reviews that addressed cleanliness, I was genuinely worried about what to expect. But our room was big, comfortable AND CLEAN. Beds were comfy, the decor of the space was super trendy and cool.

The staff takes the cake though. They were so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Ocean, the front desk agent who checked us in at 11 o’clock at night. She has the exact energy you want in a FD worker. She was more than happy to answer all of my 1million questions, cause I like to gather aaaalllll of the information, she was friendly and professional but still managed to have that genuine and approachable demeanor. The whole staff was really lovely and very accommodating.

At 20 bucks for breakfast, all-you-can-eat or not, we didn’t even bother to check out the selection. It might be worth it, but I wasn’t gonna eat enough first thing in the morning to make it worthwhile.

Overall great stay. The location was impeccable. 9 out of 10, would recommend!

Great location! Managers & staff strive for better service, but can’t deliver & don’t return calls from guests! Relocated 3x due to room issues. Housekeeping missed 2/4 days after numerous calls to their attention! They have a fabulous rooftop, but you can’t access it after 11:00 p.m. They did comp us a breakfast in order to make up for the inconveniences! We still made the best of it however!

Wasn’t all that bad. The front desk staff, as well as a few staff members I briefly interacted with in the halls and lobby were quite nice and helpful. Valet service, though expensive, were fast and professional.
The hotel bar/restaurant though, is way below subpar. My girlfriend went down to order herself some dinner, waited at the bar for 20 minuets and couldn’t find anyone with whom to place an order. She came back to the room after giving up and I agreed to go down. When I arrived there was a bartender who was engaged in conversation with a lone patron at the bar. No one else was at the bar, and there were maybe three tables with customers seated. It looked slow. I waited patiently for 10 min before the bartender took a break from her conversation with the other customer and asked, with much reluctance it seemed, if I was ready to order. I asked to see a menu and, with eyes rolled, she handed me one. I ordered wings and a salad. Then proceeded to wait. 35 minuets later with no food I finally gave up and asked for her to cancel my order. She rudely told me the manager would have to do that, so I asked to see the manager. The manager came over and began to cancel the order. Just at that point the bartender came out with my order. I said “Thank you” and went back to my room. The wings were dangerously undercooked, and the salad was squishy and the dressing had congealed. That and the entire bag was super warm telling me it had sat under a heat lamp for some time. I threw it in the trash.
It’s not a bad place to stay, just nowhere as nice as presented online. And I totally recommend staying away from the restaurant off the lobby. Have advised my company to cease utilizing this establishment for future conferences.

I would give it lower than one star if possible.
I stayed there for about a week and spent 1500$ to stay. No cleaning was planned, and after we requested a cleaning, two of my good perfumes disappeared. I reported it to the management and they were not helpful at all. After telling them multiple times they made me buy the perfume again and told me they would reimburse me. But they never did. The management disappeared and never returned my calls or my emails. So they cost me twice.
No discipline, very rude and disrespectful, and a bunch of liars. I am sharing this with you guys so you would not take anything of value with you to that hotel. Better yet, do not go to that hotel if possible.

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb. I am very finicky and pay close attention to details when it comes to cleanliness, especially at hotels and restaurants. I didn’t see as much as a stray hair in my room. The location is also great. 20-25 min walking distance from most major attractions. I look forward to staying again.

Room was nice and clean. Thermostat was dead on the wall but the controls on the unit worked fine. We didn’t notify staff. Only con we experienced was room key will only work the elevator to your floor. Made it hard to get to friends that were staying on a different floor. Not really a problem it just wasn’t communicated at check in.

Mr. Perry was a great help after a mix up on my end left some colleagues doubled up and me room-less the first night of the trip. He was fast and very understanding. Everyone had all their rooms straightened out and I was checked in to a beautiful room. The room was large, well stocked with everything I needed, clean, and breakfast was available for a long period of time which was nice to accommodate early or late risers. Thanks again for all the help!

Let me just say that the stay was great, parking wasn’t super expensive and it was right in the middle of everything. What really got them a 5 star was Brandon the manager! I left some stuff in the room after checking out and driving a few hours away and he was super professional and retrieved my things and held on to it until I could make it up and claim it. Thank you to the staff for being good people!

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They accommodated me earlier than typical check in time. They also had freebies on the counters and maps of the city. The room was nice and it had a refrigerator. The breakfast was good. They provided a hot and cold breakfast. Gloves to use and hand sanitizer. There were also wipes. Check in and check out were easy. They also held my bag after checkout so I could explore some more.

The hotel is an older building (with the nuances particular to them), however it was perfect for my conference stay, reasonably priced, and very convenient to walk to the conference center with a variety of independent restaurants nearby. The staff members I met (front desk, housekeeping) were professional, thorough, helpful, and always pleasant. I would certainly stay there again, and easily recommend it to others.

This hotel was very conveniently located for my trip to DC. The price was excellent, the service was excellent and the breakfast was the best I’ve come across included in the room cost. I will most definitely return! Book with confidence! I want to thank Avvy in the breakfast room for keeping everything super super clean, stocked and fresh. I forge the gentleman at the front desks name but he was awesome too. Well done to the Comfort Inn DC staff. Had a great time. Thank you

The hotel is conveniently located where everything we need to visit and see are within walking distance. Includes breakfast available daily. Our room was cleaned and replenished daily. Chris TS., the front desk personnel Mr. Sanchez, and Chris TS were very accomodating and very responsive to our needs. I would like to acknowledge Chris TS for taking care of us on the day of our check out. Our flight was at 6pm but check out was 11am and the luggage room was full. He said don’t worry I will put your luggage in my office. So that afforded us to visit more museums. Thank you very much Chris!!!

The staff and location are great. This hotel needs to close immediately to refurbish. The furniture is incredibly battered, damage and falling apart. Spring mattress in 2022 is a joke. Rooms have a musty smell. Changed room and still damage furniture and bad smell from AC. Popcorn ceilings. Just gross room. Stay away.
ETA: they don’t even do a duvet cover, just the duvet between 2 sheets!!!! Breakfast was very bland. Horrible hotel !

Room was small, bathroom sink was the size of a small motor home sink or the size of a honeydew, Front desk made us go back up to the hotel room to retrieve our room keys that we left in the hotel room, just to put them in a box at the front desk. Breakfast was OK scrambled eggs, spicy sausage, waffles, yogurt, juice and milk. housekeeping came in and made the beds and emptied the garbage even though it was advertised that housekeeping was not going to be done.
