  1. Review for LA Art Show 2022. The art is not mi stuff, but my wife wanted to try and we all family went to take a tour and witness the art. I liked the space, the art, there is not crowded and the kids had a great time. $15 dlls. For parking lot and plenty of different places around the convention center.

  2. Went for the Superbowl Experience. The hardest part was parking. There isn’t alot of signage to direct you and you have to make sure you get there early to find a lot. The check-in process was pretty fast. I appreciate the bag check with the use of machines. Made the process SO much faster! I think it was a large amount of space utilized well.

  3. The 2022 LA Auto Show was the best. Indoor “off road” test drive over a steep ramp stairs etc. Subaru has a simulated rain storm that’s amazing. Very nice convention center buts it’s best to take metro Parking is $25

  4. I went for the 2022 LA Auto show. Awesome experience , lots of car manufactures from around the world. A lot of the cars are unlocked for you to get inside them and get a nice feel for the car. They offered test drives for certain vehicles , where you ride along with a driver . There was a specific course they had to test suspension , traction and body roll.

  5. I love the LA AUTO SHOW. I go every year with my dad on Thanksgiving day. It’s a tradition. Gone the last 10 years straight. Awesome cars! Lots of cool stuff! Definitely recommend going there.

Parking is fairly easy to find if you get there when an event opens. The bathrooms need more regular cleaning. There was 1 day where the soap only worked in 1 pump within the restroom. If you come here for a convention prepare to wait in a long line if you have a regular ticket… maybe over an hour. Also bring an umbrella because you will be in straight sun. The venue itself is easy to navigate through and there is plenty of food across the street if you need further choices for cheaper (paid like 30 bucks for 2 muffins and 2 coffees).

We went here for a Bellator MMA event and it was awesome! Great view all around and our seats were just perfect (lower row in 117) and good AC. The arena is not too big so seems like most seats have a good view. There was plenty of drink and snack spots serving the typical event food such as nachos, pretzels, etc. Clean and nice restrooms is a plus. Seats are comfortable but a bit on the older side. Parking was $15 which is not bad compared to other venues and conveniently near the main doors so we didn’t have to walk a lot. Overall we had a great experience at this convention center.

Has the most wonderful time at the Long Beach Symphony Pops Series! Maestro Eckart Preu was masterful and #almosteltonjohn was phenomenal! Can’t wait for the next show on 11/19 featuring music from Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff! You don’t want to miss it!

Awesome location for a Convention and Entertainment Center, notwithstanding renovations and pandemic closures!
i haven’t been in the newly renovated Entertainment Center, though remember the elegance inside when it was known as the Long Beach Performing Arts Center. I’ll be excited to revisit the building once again when it reopens.
I remember when the marine artist WyLAND and crew painted the mural around the arena, setting the record for the world’s largest mural and also establishing the center as a culturally significant work of the visual arts!
The modern convention center has been popular with internationally recognized companies and organizations, having meetings, exhibits and shows!
Symposiums often take place here with educational lectures and self help gurus.
The building is centrally located within easy access of local hotels, Pine Av. business, The Pike Plaza and Shoreline Park.

Overall, a decent place to catch a concert. Was here in February for the War on Drugs . $20 parking lot right next to the venue. This place is located in middle of college campus. It is a very old building and kind of out dated. Bathrooms need repair and some steps are broken in the building. Was up in the balcony and had a OK view and sound was great. Concessions were a bag of chips and soda can which was not great. Typical expensive LA prices for booze . Service was ok. Not too shabby.

Love the shrine! Great venue has lower section and upper balcony that circles the stage. Parking is easy as there are lots on either side you can park and walk in.

Honestly, the only reason I’m giving this venue 3 stars is for the mere fact that everytime I’ve gone to a show here, I can hardly breath. So stuffy and humid and the ventilation system is the worst. I always end up being upstairs cause that’s where I feel some air. The view up there is decent but it would be nice to be in front of the stage without feeling like I’ma faint. (Literally saw a few people faint at the show I went to last night and so many guys were shirtless)
Overall, It was very very gross in there.

Also, sound was so boomy and all lows and no highs. Doesn’t do the artists any justice.

Parking is fine. Either $20 at the lot or street parking. The venue itself looks pretty cool. Drinks were pricier than most other venues but they were strong at least.

I have another show there next week though so might update if anything changes.

Our trip to the convention center for a gymnastics competition went really well. The building is pretty and clean. The staff is friendly and organized. The only thing we did not like was the parking situation. We had to do a bit of research and discovered it almost better to pay for the Sheraton Parking since it is much closer to the venue!

The chocolate salon was great. There was a lot of newer chocolatiers with tasty chocolate. Charolettes Truffles we’re delicious and absolutely stunning to look at. Amano chocolate was so full of flavor and family running the booth was very knowledgeable. The Polar water was so yummy and the gal running the booth was super sweet. The event started late and one of the speakers was unable to make it but the other presentations were very informative. I would totally recommend.

Great Monsterpalooza 2022. Lot’s of stuff to do, see, experience and buy from the horror world of movies and television. Lot’s of people for the three day event. Lot of people dressed up in character.

    The conference center
    – Very good, full facilities and convenient. Can accommodate many people.

    The hotel
    – Clean and comfortable. Good service. The room is quite large and quiet. Mini coffee bar inside the room. Iron and board are available. But no refrigerator. The price was acceptable. Gym and fitness in the third floor. Small bar with many craft beers and liqueur at the lobby.

Staff is super friendly every time we have stayed there. It is very convenient to get to the medical center and you can walk to many food locations. Parking is a bit pricey but so is most of the parking in the area. Wifi is strong and the desk is good to work at with plenty of light in the room. The only complaint I have is that every room I have stayed in the sink drains slowly but oh well

To put the conclusion first, this hotel is a hidden gem. I stay here every week for work and can say without hesitation you’d be hard-pressed to find a hotel this nice for anywhere near the price point in this area. There’s no pool or spa facilities, and it’s only self-park…but otherwise it’s comparable to any Hilton or Marriott. The lobby is spacious, beautiful, and has fantastic UCLA-connected art. Adjacent is the Plateia bar/lounge/restaurant with reasonably priced cocktails and wine (by LA hotel standards), and delicious if slightly overpriced food. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The staff is friendly and accommodating across the board. My only complaint is there are some consistency and detail issues here. A lightbulb that’s gone out, a broken shelf in the shower, missing robe, etc. These are easily fixed but should truthfully be spotted before a guest checks in. You’re close to much but not really walking distance to anything aside from the UCLA campus. Give this place a try if you’re in the area!

Amazing, well designed, classy hotel with new and clean rooms, everything is well maintained, very spacious, good gym, excellent location – one of the best we stayed during our trip to the US.
During check-in, we understood at the reception that we deserved free parking, and upon departure, we were informed that we had to pay $32 for each day of parking…(overall it cost us another 98$+)

The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice, but the walls are too thin. You can hear the guests talking in the room next door. Very expensive with no complimentary breakfast. The hotel staff and restaurant staff are nice, but the menu was limited and chicken salty and overcooked.

The worst experience of my life. I’ve never left a bad review. If I could give it negative stars I would. The guy at the front the desk, he’s the owner by the way. Started yelling at me only because I asked if it was going to take long to get registered, since my 6 year old needed to use the restroom. He told me if I could be patient but not in a nice way. He shoved the paper I needed to sign and I asked him why he yelled at me. He never answered. So we proceeded to go in the room the assigned to us. We open the door and it was dirty. They hadn’t cleaned it. I went down to ask for a different room. No apology, it smelled and the air conditioning didn’t work. Honestly it looks like a cheap motel, not a hotel. Choice hotels should lose this hotel as a partner. I put in a complaint about them. This hotel should only cost $50 at most. I’m just glad we were only there for one night. Don’t stay here. There are better hotels. There are roaches too.
By Amparo Santiago ocampo (3 months ago)
Honestly, 1 star is being generous. This listing is very misleading. No breakfast is offered, and the pool is closed. The room was dirty and disgusting, smelled like cigarettes despite being non-smoking, the door latch was broken, the blinds were also broken so we had to rig something under window so that no one could peep into our room at night, there were bodily fluid stains all over the carpet (seriously DO NOT walk barefoot here), and most importantly – it’s ROACH INFESTED.
I woke up to use the bathroom on our last night there (stayed 3 nights total) and saw 4 roaches scatter when I turned the lights on. I took a video and killed the two larger roaches before the other two babies went into a crack in the bathroom wall. I was so grossed out I was immediately awake so I went to the front desk with my phone to show the manager on duty the video. He watched it and offered me some Raid or to change rooms (even though there was a No Vacancy sign in the reception window). I told him my friends were still sleeping (it was 4am) and that I didn’t want to wake them to spray pest control chemicals and also that we didn’t want to change rooms as we would be checking out 7 hours later. He didn’t really seem to care. I asked if we could at least receive some kind of discount or a comp for a night for the inconvenience. He declined and said there was nothing he could do. I asked if I could speak to a manager and he informed me that he was. I felt nothing further could be done so I went back to my room and started packing and loading my car. Would NEVER stay here again and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. This MOTEL shouldn’t cost any more than $50 TOPS.

Had the worst experience. There are bed hugs in every corner of the room. There was a bucket with bugs. The manager offered another room, I said no because is uncomfortable staying somewhere where there is bugs.

Bad service on front stain chairs broken bed no pressure on shower and only pressure on way (broker) and really old towels! Last resort hotel on my point of view?
✭✭ By Fernando Cruz (3 months ago)
The towels in the room had not been changed & the garbage had not been taken out. Additionally, the sheets had a hole in them, which appeared to be from a cigarette burn. The room was outdated, and the walls were dirty.

Fortunately, there was another room available to move into. The other room was more updated and cleaner. However, the experience was an inconvenience as we were tired after a long drive, and we were eager to rest.

In my opinion, it is too pricey for what it is.

I’ll start off by saying this was my first time here so the fact that I went up the ramp with the buses and such should be excused. I’m lucky and blessed to not have gotten a ticket, instead the nice young officer just directed me to the correct parking area underneath. The facility itself is actually beautiful. I was there to sign up for pre-check at a pop up bus. I found the people who assisted me to the designated location to be very polite and professional. The comings and goings of the multitude of people placed a frantic, yet bee-like energy within the air. The cylindrical architecture and old world style of the station was a nice throwback and I could hardly believe I was in Los Angeles. If the parking wasn’t so expensive…I could have hung out there for a lot longer to people watch and enjoy the architecture. Not a bad place at all.
