  1. Took nephew to the Globetrotters he loved it. Fan store was to the right of the court which he thought was cool. Good seats. Not alot of concession stands open but that’s fine. Bathrooms clean.
If you go make sure to do your Vaccine check in which is on the homepage. No big bags. Basically leave your purse and bring your phone, card and keys and pay for parking in advance makes life was less stressful. Staff is always helpful and nice.
The globetrotters game, at the end they gave autographs and took time to take pics with the kids that wanted them. Which made this an awesome surprise birthday present for my nephew. Five stars and I can’t wait to go to another event!!

  2. Went with a few coworkers to the PBR EVENT. Had a blast! A wee bit pricey with the food and drinks, but other than that it’s a really well run, clean, and fun establishment. Would definitely go to another event that’s held at the Moda Center! ?

  3. I have been here several times for different events all of which brought a different atmosphere. The perspective you get will depend on your seat selection/price you are willing to pay. This was a concert and our seats were in section 114 which gave us pretty good view of the center floor stage. This place has plenty of amenities and bathrooms. Bring plenty of money because you will need it if you plan on eating or drinking lots of choices for lots of money but that’s to be expected.

  4. Really an awesome venue. Plenty of amenities and food drinks which were reasonable priced. Been to a few concerts here and it’s always has good acoustics. Great staff, and a good security presence around the event center.

  5. Post Malone concert was amazing! I watched the concert from a suite and the service was quite amazing. It was stocked with food, soda and water. Specific alcoholic beverages are available in the hallway outside the store, but they are very expensive. Getting into the arena was easy because the line has been processed fairly quickly. There are X-ray machines to ensure nobody is bringing weapons or other restricted items.

A beautiful, elegant and huge place! Super accessible, extremely clean, the bathrooms are great maintenance throughout the day! The staff are so nice and HELPFUL! Easy transportation in the Trimet. A was attending a library conference for 3 days, and I had a wonderful experience. I am looking forward to coming back to another event.

This place is great! The decor is just beautiful! It’s very near public transportation. The only negative I can think of is some of the rooms are not well marked, but other than that it’s fabulous.

This facility was very nice and clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and well organized. There were numerous other events going on at the same time and everyone remained calm and friendly.

A huge place ready to receive a big crowd. We went to the outdoor living house show and almost got lost because it’s so big. Place was very clean and nicely designed. We truly enjoyed our time at the show and the parking felt safe even if it’s an area surrounded by homeless individuals. The security people are nice and kindly direct you to the location of your event.

just a goregous open design w plenty of light (even when it’s overcast) to showcase some significant pieces that have wow pop!

I’ve lived a few blocks away for a year and I’m embarrassed to say I had not known of this gem..

just come walk around, bonus a random event is happening youd like to check out!

The expo center has seen the best events to ever come to our beautiful area. I have had the opportunity to see outdoor shows, religious events, the circus, food events, tiny house showings, etc. every time I have had the pleasure of going I’ve had a great time. The cirque the soleil show was in their parking but still a great show with plenty of parking.
    ✭✭✭✭✭ By Lorena S (5 months ago)
Very very large space. Parking lot is huge and nearly filled up on the day we were there for the Cirque du Soleil show. Inside of the tent felt comfortable enough (I’d recommend parents of small children to bring booster seats for them to see well), though AC was a bit too strong for my kids. The biggest problem I had was the bathroom lines. There seemed yo be many potties there but at intermission time, the lines were so long that it was impossible for little kids who just simply can’t wait in general. Otherwise the place felt clean and organized. Would go again.

Boyfriend and I went to see cirque du soleil. Fantastic show. Wished for more sizes on the clothing the gift shop sold, and flavor on the slushes; but it didn’t detract from the event’s experience.

Nice inside but gets very warm. They need to have better air conditioning or turn it on. The whole purpose of having shows there is to get people to buy something/things. If you have to go outside to cool off then you are not inside buying anything. To me they are hurting themselves.
✭✭✭✭ By Loren Nestman (2 months ago)
Cirque de Soleil here is great. Almost every seat is amazing. It was packed on one of the hottest days of the summer so far but they had pretty great airflow and air-conditioning in the tent that kept it surprisingly cooler in there that the outside temp thank goodness.

This was a very busy hotel during check in. But there was 3 person in reception to handle it fast. Room was fine and everything for our convenience was provided. Housekeepers should be pay more attention to details; our coffee maker was not clean and some small garbage on the carpet. Also they forgot to provide a blanket for who sleep on sofa-bed. Fortunately we’re not a picky family! Daily Housekeeping does not available if your stay is less than 3 nights as per paper provided. So you have to request it to reception before 10 AM.
Pool and hot tub were clean but busy. Parking available for $20 per night!!
Ice machine in every floor and a tiny shop just next to reception.

I reserved a room and paid for parking for a 3 night stay. I chose this hotel because the Seattle location is amazing. Don’t be fooled as I was. There is no comparison. When I checked in at 3:00 I was told they over booked the 2 queen bed rooms. Would I be willing to switch to a king and pullout? No. They replied no problem you are early so we have it. (So if I came later my reservation from 3 months ago would mean nothing!?). The room is tiny compared to Seattle but it was clean. Weirdly, the bathroom door had no lock.
Here is main huge problem: the parking. They sell parking to everyone. This is a 10 story hotel. There are only around 150 parking places! When we left after checking in there were parking spots. We did not know about the keep selling spots thing. When we got back after having dinner the lot was FULL! I was told too bad you have to park on the street in downtown Portland. I picked this hotel and paid for parking so I would NOT have to park on the street. The front desk continued to sell parking even after being told there were no parking spaces free.
We purchased breakfast at the hotel. Service was super slow. Prices were high. When we finally got our food the French toast was so cold butter wouldn’t melt on it.
We had a terrible experience here. We could not leave once we got a parking spot making our stay much less enjoyable.
If you don’t have a car, can check in at 3:00, don’t mind grumpy front desk employees, and don’t eat at the hotel go a head and try it. Otherwise, do not stay here.

In today’s world, it’s hard to rate hospitality-driven places, like hotels.. But somehow, this place has managed to pull it off beyond belief. Everyone works tirelessly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. It’s truly a staple in Portland and did not disappoint. SO glad I chose this place over others nearby where I have had terrible experiences before. Room service and a caring staff (everywhere…not just one person) is extremely hard to find now days. I can’t thank you enough!! Travel nonstop & will definitely be back!!!!

Nice hotel, everything was relatively new. Loved the lounge area. Very nicely decorated and perfect for work meetings or working in general. Staff was friendly and I like that the hotel offers free shuttle.

Located pretty central, around the hotel are many places in a walkable distance where to get some food, drinks.

Hotel was very clean. Definitely nothing to fear, if you decide to stay in this establishment.

The beds were so comfortable! Nice pool area. Everything cost extra. Breakfast items, on site parking, Not a great part of town. Fair price for what you get. Didn’t care to have housekeeping unlock my door and try to walk in at 8 am, without knocking, when checkout isn’t until noon.

Rooms are nice, beds super comfy, service desk staff are really helpful and kind. Got great recommendations on places to eat (Hawthorne Asylum 5*) around the area.

Honestly, the location is rough…very clear Covid was not kind to this part of Portland, with the extraordinary number of tents lining the streets a constant reminder. I imagine it was very different before the pandemic as there is a sense of underlying beauty within the chaos of the surrounds.

Nice hôtel in a quiet area. Updated rooms with walk-in showers. Comfortable couch in King sized rooms. Nice large TV. No microwave but not a deal breaker. Restaurant buffet breakfast with cook to order eggs / omelettes, waffles, lots of fresh fruit. Will certainly stay here again.

King suite was laid out oddly. The bathroom is off the main bedroom so you have to go through the bedroom if you’re sleeping on the sofa-bed (could be awkward). Our particular room has a few maintenance issues that we worked around by our choice, but I did let the desk know and they were super interested in getting things fixed. One suggestion would be for there to be a shelf or small table in room with the toilet and shower to give a place to put things down that isn’t the floor.

Staff was very courteous and efficient. Valet parking was helpful, efficient and happy to o see us every time.

Breakfast service was a pre fixe buffet with made to order omelets and waffles.

Generally what you would expect from this brand in a downtown setting.

Excellent stay! Super clean. Service excellent. Only down side is that I had to pay over $60.00 a night for on site parking. I wS with an elderly woman with mobility issues so had no choice. Fireplace patio is awesome!

The room was great, served my needs and was close by the MAX, so there was easy transit. Bed was comfortable, and temperature was easy to control. The only issue I had was on the night of the 17th, the fire alarms kept going off through the night which caused me to miss out on some necessary ZZZ’s. Service was amenable and helped remedy the situation, so that was a plus. Only downside is that parking is expensive, and I personally wouldn’t trust street parking overnight in the area.

I felt real itchy after sleeping in the bed. And the ceilings are really short, to me anyway. I’m 6’4″ so a little taller than some folks. Other than that it wasn’t bad. There’s definitely better rooms for a little less if you look. If you need to be in this neighborhood it’s an easy place to get a room. Better than the Crown Plaza. Those people are extremely rude!

Had a wonderful experience here. Rooms are clean, spacious and homey- good if you’re looking to avoid that sterile hotel experience. Worked with Drew at the front desk who was incredibly kind and accommodating. My room had an awesome view of the city and convention center spire that lights up at night! The only downside was that the bathtub drained slowly which I told management about. Would look to book here if I ever need another hotel in Portland, I felt cared for and got a great nights sleep for a competitive price.

It was okay. The building is run down and old like the rest of Portland. The bed is nasty and crunchy. The hallway floors are a trip after a few drinks I dare you to try that ride. The receptionist with the red hair well let’s just say don’t interrupt her during her speech or else you’ll return home without your head. It took about 30 minutes to get checked in. Slow and only one person is able to check you in at a time so don’t get confused by the two windows at the front desk. The coffee in the rooms is good. Good tv channel line up. Oh the sliding glass doors… well they don’t open. So fresh air isn’t available here. The bathroom is small so be careful. This place wasn’t worth the space on my phone to take a picture.

Very pleasant stay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, very clearly wanted to provide the best service possible. Room was very clean. My only complaint would be that the building is a tad run down, but it’s really pretty much what you would expect from the nature of it. I cannot speak enough as to how nice the staff was though, they were very welcoming.

My boyfriend and I stay there often, and really appreciate the friendliness of the employees. The rooms are clean, and the facility offers a great deal of privacy, yet the management doesn’t come across as overly intrusive, which we appreciate, and assume most travelers do too. Give em a try, not too spendy, not too uppity, just a god old fashioned motel room like mom used to make.

I had a surprisingly great stay! I’m never a big fan of Portland, and just needed to pick a place to stay for a bit while attending a show at the Crystal Ballroom and visiting some friends. Very glad I picked this place. Staff were great, was very clean and had everything I needed, and the included breakfast was nice – it was a great touch to have staff on hand behind a sneeze shield to serve hot food rather than everyone sharing scoops and getting way too close to your food. The walls are definitely thin – I could hear every word of the TV nex door to me on the second night, but honestly I won’t let this detract from a positive review. I was really happy with my stay and would eagerly choose this place again or recommend it to others. Everyone was professional and warm, transportation is literally right outside the front door, and plenty of other things are very walkable. Housekeeping is available by request only but they welcomed the request and the room was fully serviced while I was away. Didn’t try the attached restaurant but will do so next time.

I sincerely enjoyed my time at this hotel, particularly because of the staff. Everyone was very friendly, especially Dakota and Sarah in the lobby! My AC unit was broken in my room, and the instant I brought the issue up I was moved to the nearest room without any issues. This was a comfortable stay, and I enjoyed the food at the restaurant attached as well.

Stayed 2nights, 3days with a wedding party. Rooms were clean and updated with the basic amenities! Website, however needs to be updated. Breakfast buffet listed on website open until 11am. I went at 9:30 and it was closed. My family of four were quite disappointed with the front desk and ballroom service. We were a very considerate group that just wanted to hang out and reconnect with family but was told to leave by 11pm. Our group was charged for an extra 5days instead of the 3. We were told that our rooms would be close together but we were all spread out into all of the different wings, which is already difficult to navigate with the luggage.

The neighborhood around here has a lot of food and general shops. The room that we stayed in was clean and comfy with all the appliances/toiletries you could ask for. The free breakfast has a lot to offer as the dining staff were polite and gave great service. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you Dakota and Billy for all your help!

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. That’s not an exaggeration. It’s very old and needs extreme remodeling-looks like it’s stuck in the 1970s. Furniture was chipping, cheap wallpaper was coming off, and I found hairs on my sheets and in a cup holder. It’s a motel style hotel, so the door from your room leads to outside and the heater does not consistently work, so I was freezing. The heater is directly under the curtains, so they kept flying up. There’s no actual thermostat-it’s just the window AC/heater. I can’t imagine this place is safe and secure either considering that rooms open to outdoors. Housekeeping came and knocked on my door on my last day and I told them I don’t need housekeeping. They then asked when I was going to check out-I still had two hours before I had to check out. That made me feel rushed and like I, a guest, was burdening them. I tried to check out early after having a terrible first night there, and they did not allow me to. Front desk employees were very kind, though. That was the only positive part of the whole stay. I was so uncomfortable here and did not feel safe. Do NOT stay here.
