Truly wonderful beach. Not over crowded even on the bank holiday. Nice cafes running alongside. Partly sandy and small stones. The beach does shelve so be careful with small children as when at high tide the depth increases fast as you walk out.By Matt Atkinson (3 months ago)My favourite beach South East of the Isle of Wight. It has a character quite different from the regular beaches in the UK. Highly recommend the ice cream there.By Yesh Kempanna (7 months ago)Absolutely stunning, we arrived at 10am and the beach was quiet and peaceful. Parking was easy and right alongside the seafront.
The beach is clean and there are some great places on the seafront to grab a coffee and cake or ice cream.By Hayley Henson (a year ago)Nice little Bay, a few bars and restaurants, stopped at the Spyglass pub for a pint..By Ju (6 months ago)Evening stroll, parked right on the front, ran down to the sea over the very fine orange pebbles. Paddled and ran back to the car through the torrential rain dodging the thunder and lightning. Looks like you can hire deck chairs etc. Dog poo free beach too!By David Elsmore (a year ago)

I went yesterday for the first time ever, the beach was clean and quiet, I had a very nice time with my boyfriend, I went to have a romantic dinner sitting by the beach with pizza and wine. Perfect plan and great viewsBy Yai Maldonado (8 months ago)Sunday morning to early evening 🥰 So peaceful, So beautiful views, we walked along the harbour. Amazing blue sky. The breeze and light winds was warm.By T T (4 months ago)Big carpark (but pay and display! Only noticed when coming back to the car!). Pebbly, windswept beach. Free, reasonably clean toilets!👍) Other than that not much else. UK Channel seaside resorts have a certain, faded, charm, and this place is no exception. Good stroll along the beach, blowing the cobwebs away. After more than an hour I wouldn’t know what to do from here (although there may, of course, be other attractions nearby. We didn’t check).By Mat Dodol (10 months ago)Nice, long, stony beach with loads of parking and loads of space on the actual beach which was quite clean. There is a little cafe and public toilets in the car park- I didn’t use them, but great that they are there and available. We visited on a very hot day and were able to find parking (which you pay for via cash or the RingGo app) and the beach itself was not crammed full of people.By Nicole Boyd (5 months ago)Lovely stoney beach. Refreshments available.
Kids enjoyed playing in the water and having an ice cream. Plenty of parking and reasonably priced.By almeida4eva (3 months ago)

Great beach, with a choice of pebbles or sand. Pebbles to the right, sand to the left, as you look out to sea from the car park. Cafe and restaurant, with bar, at the hilltop car park area. Lots of parking available (small charge), lots of ‘pub’ style benches at the hilltop, and ice cream further down.By Liam K (3 months ago)Love this beach. The car park is right at the top of the cliff. You can walk along the cliff or go down to the beach. A bit limited for dogs as between May and September you can only walk them on the beach between groins 8-12, but there are still lots of paths you can use.By Paul Goddard (6 months ago)We loved this, great autumn stroll. Walked past the castle as closed on Fridays/Saturdays for events. Had a wonderful ice cream and sat on the bench watching the Wind surfers.By Peter Chiverton (2 months ago)A great beach to visit. Good for long walks as it is too long ! You can either walk on the beach or the small cliffs besides it. Great enjoyable spot during summers.By Shreyas Srinivasan (5 months ago)Breakfast on the beach at the cafe was superb! Great start to the day. Clean beach and friendly staff. Quick swim was great too even in November.By Hattie Rutter (a month ago)

So nice! Nice clean beach! Dog friendly and lovely! We loved the beach huts that are all over along the coast! Will be back during the summer!!By rodeiaduarte rodeiaduarte (7 months ago)Nice and generally clean beach, there’s cafe, toilets that are yucky but better than none, shower pipe on the beach, life guards. We generally liked it, it was crowded but that’s something to expect on a hot day. We had a nice swim water was shallow for a few metres which is nice for kids.By Monika Muda Milo (4 months ago)We just come back from there ,its lovely, the beaches are nice and clean, the park was definitely loved by our kids ,kept them busy, you must visitBy Gina B (4 months ago)England Beach Soccer Tournament was amazing to watch whilst having stunning views of Sandbanks to Bournemouth Beach, Isle of Wright to the Purbecks. A beautiful place for a afternoon walk. Lovely scenery and easy to find. Good parking and accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Well worth a visit.
First time visit and was totally amazed with the views across to the isle of wight, could not believe how close it was. The raised wooden cafe here is just superb with an outside seating area to soak up the views and sunshine. The cafe caters for light lunches and full on cooked breakfasts, and light refreshments from teas and coffee and soft drinks. Just outside there is a kiosk where you can purchase ice creams and cold drinks. There are toilets in the cafe as well as outside toilet facilities. Overall very impressed.
The beach and country park are a hidden treasure, with a well equipped cafe and parking facilities right on the beach front.
The beach is gravelly and has some rocks. Swimming can be dangerous here, as there’s a riptide that runs out toward the Isle of Wight where the tides meet. Great for windsurfing and kayaking.
A great place to visit with family and friends for a picnic. Nice walk across coastline and in the park. There is a cafe on site ‘Outlook’, with a great view while you enjoy your hot coffee 🙂 ample parking- £9 for full day
It also has small play area for children.
Had a lovely trip to Lepe Country Park. The park is well kept with so much to do for all the family. The beech is very clean, with plenty of space for everyone, care is needed as the currents in the solent can be very strong.
The park also boasts area away from the sea with grassed sections for family games and just chilling out. There is also loads of seating available overlooking the solent with views across to the Isle of Wight.
There is a new building here with a small souvenir shop and a cafe. The cafe has some amazingly fresh cakes, as well a very tasty menu, for the whole family. The coffee here is great and well worth a try.
If you are near the area, give it a go, we will be going again soon, especially on a really hot day, as the breeze was very welcomed.
