quiet, clean, a little chilly but a great place for a walk. Didn’t go near the water just too … cold!, Shame that we had to pay for parking, especially off season.By Vincenzo D’Urso (8 months ago)Nice place to visit just before holiday season. Good café with a toilet. Lovely field just slightly further along.By Marcus Roberts (5 months ago)Really nice morning spent at Broadsands beach.
Huge car park,
2 cafes
Toilets
Hire shop for most things connected with the water.
Beach huts.Oh and the steam train passes every 45 minutes or so.
By Sue Whitburn (a year ago)Lots of parking which is handy as it does get rather busy at times.
The beach itself is okay, personally I think the place needs redevelopment but in a sympathetic way.
There is also a nice walk you can go on across the grassed area with benches.By Gareth Taylor (a year ago)A lovely beach, great facilities, plenty of parking, can pay by both cash and card. There are 2 cafes offering a range of food and drinks. Also a watersports hire facility. changing huts available to hire. There is also a smaller cove area a little further up, which is also a nice secluded spot, however this is a pebble beach. Plenty of coastal paths to take walks. Would recommend.By Hiran Kara (5 months ago)

Lovely quiet spot, when the tide is low we had a brilliant time hunting for shells. There is a lot of seaweed and moss and be mindful of that. Water shoes would have been nice to haveBy Laura Hunter (4 months ago)A lovely beach just to one side of Paignton Harbour. Just above the beach is the peaceful Burma Star Garden of Remembrance leading to Roundham Gardens which is a lovely garden walk with fantastic views especially of Goodrington.By John Bailey (3 months ago)I love this place but the water quality here has deteriorated in the last 15 year significantly. I grew up snorkeling here it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life, I would not risk it now. The night I took the attached photos there where large patches of floating plastic waste that had been washed into fairy cove I was horrified to see how bad things had gotten.By Chris Ham (a year ago)I found this place before our trip and was so desperate to go. Absolutely full of rock pools when the tide is out. But we could only find the tiniest, cutest crab I’ve ever seen….typical! It is so much more beautiful in person. A real hidden gem!By Rebecca Smith (a year ago)Can bring dog to the beach all year long, nice shady bits near rocks! Over looking the harbour and Paignton beach.By Steve Towler (4 months ago)

A great beach for children. Very shallow and generally calm. It can get crowded during the summer and parking is quite expensiveBy Jon Bromfield (6 months ago)We visited Paignton for the half-term and one of the activities we enjoyed was a boat cruise from Paignton to Torquay. It was beautiful experience, we could see and learned from our host about some historical landmarks like the singer family home, the Grand hotel used by Agatha Christie for a wedding anniversary, a few of the harbours , it’s a children and dog friendly beach. Good for going for walks or run. We could see the beach from our apartment. We hope to visit sometime next summer.By Adaeze Abdullahi (a month ago)This is a lovely beach quite safe for familys as the beach just slopes gradually so no shelf to deal with 2 pubs for food paddle boarding available here too. Couple of kiosks for snacks and ice creams, go karts and a small water park.By alison sharples (3 years ago)I hidden gem on Torbay’s coastline. Quiet with stunning views.By Maria Sams (10 months ago)Nice long sandy beach, we stayed on the quieter side of the pier where the beach huts are mainly. Great surf but shallow a long way out which is good for kids. Lots of little ice-cream and coffee trucks around and nice little play areas along the esplanade. If you want crazy golf and fun fairs there’s more going on towards the pier.By Clara Lewis (a year ago)

Good fun! Surprisingly big! Much longer than I originally thought, it seemed to go on forever.
Lots of different types of machines. Plenty of teddy grabbers, a bargain at 10p a go!
Lots of 2p machines where you can win prizes.
Ticket winning machines also here.
Nice and bright. Plenty of staff around to help. Very clean, tidy and well managed.
Also, loads of change machines around, so keeps the queues down.
A lot of fun to waste an hour or 2.
It’s a nice pier with plenty to do on there. The usual con games. But I was disappointed that the 2p machines seemed a lot harder to win anything than other places I’ve been to. It was almost like the good prizes were stuck down. £4 on one machine and didn’t even get a 2p back. The rides were alright but very pricey. I have 3 kids, so didn’t get far. And it wasn’t busy but they got 5 minutes of fun on each thing. The figures on the pier were cool.
Lovely family day out. A great variety of food stalls and the Amusement arcade is huge! There is always some sort of entertainment/ fair ground on the green too. Can’t beat it on a sunny day for that traditional seaside trip! Given 4 stars as it can be pricey with most fair rides being £3 each.
Smaller pier boasting an arcade in its middle, some children’s rides and seats at the outer end and a chip shop, doughnut and ice cream place and a second arcade at the shore end. Definitely worth taking the kids, the chip shop is brilliant but is a bit pricey. Great views north and south along the coast are afforded from either side of the pier and there are seats for you to rest your legs if you’ve been walking a lot.
One of the best piers I have seen in the Uk ! Lots of things to do on it ! Beautiful views places to buy Icecream, drinks food etc ! Fun arcades for the kids not to expensive ! Worth a visit enjoy the pictures!
