Great family destination! Great for all ages! There are tons of awesome exhibits. We were excited to see the polar bears but unfortunately the entire exhibit was empty. There are tons of food options (also vegetarian options) they allow coolers too! The staff was very kind & helpful answering questions. The Dinosaurs were up, which my son and I love!, and the penguin enclosure was nice and clean…the water was so clear. It was good to see the animals are being well taken care of. The Zoo itself was also clean and well maintained. We also took the train ride, which was nice, and saw a 4D movie which was awesome. I had never been to a 4 D movie…… definitely a fun experience 😃. We entered the zoo around 3 pm and saw many animals including penguins, camels, otters, tigers, chimpanzees/gorillas. We didn’t finish visiting all of the animals because of time limit. We should have been there at 2 pm, which would allow us to visit the whole zoo before closure. So please plan well and have at least 2 hours for a full zoo tour. We lucked out with perfect weather so we saw 90% of the animals there. It’s a beautiful place, and we were happy to see big, enriching enclosures for animals. Lots of friendly staff and volunteers. The food could have been better. We had been planning on Buddy’s but they were closed. So many good exhibits though! I think everyone in the group had something different as their favorite from the butterflies to penguins to polar bears. Honestly always a beautiful place to go for a walk. Excellent area for kids to experience and learn. Little gift shop has some beautiful items. Honestly I could never understand how someone may not like this place. Whether you go by yourself to take pictures or just to clear your mind. Or you’re going with a significant other for your entire family and kids. Definitely worth the experience and the money spent. Some may think ticket prices a little high however we fully understand that the ticket price doesn’t just pay wages and basic upkeep that it also pays towards donations and contributions to keep this place up and running and growing. There is way more to see than the eye let’s on. The ticket price of $18 is well worth the amount of park to cover. There is also a great indoor area to explore as well. The park sections are well taken care of and it was a true delight to walk the trails and see wildlife in its natural form. We probably spent more time looking at the frogs, tadpoles, and chipmunks than anything else. There is staff readily available anywhere in the park. The Japanese Gardens is definitely a highlight and a must see.
However, there is not nearly enough shaded areas to take refuge in during hot summer days in some of the outdoor sections. With little cloud cover the particular Sunday I went, it was too much to continue on and finish the park.
The park recommends giving yourself at least 2 hours, but honestly, you should plan for 3 or 4 if you like to stop and observe. It’s a great way to spend a large portion of your day.

Not only is it nice to look at and explore it’s a great place for photos. The garden is kid friendly and has tons of activities to keep busy. There’s easy access to many bathrooms spread about the garden and lots of drinking fountains and places to recycle or throw items away. There’s places to eat snacks from home or eating from their personal Cafe. Overall i enjoyed every second of being here and would highly recommend going.By Cielo Gutierrez (7 months ago)Wow. I am not sure why I didn’t expect a lot, but calling it a gardens and sculpture park does not do it justice. Great place.You could easily spend a leisurely day here and not get bored. At a quick pace, you need at least half a day. We didn’t have a full day, so we went leisurely and enjoyed much of it, leaving plenty more to see. Point being. Take your time, there is plenty to see and enjoy.

Make sure you grab your walking shoes and a bottle of water, an appropriate weather for the season you’re in because he will be doing a ton of walking. There’s just so much to see between the beautiful zen garden to the sculptures to the indoor exhibits and the amazing glass atrium with plants I’ve never seen or heard of in my entire life. Everything was so wonderful I probably had one of my favorite days visiting these gardens.
Absolute must see and would be a great place to bring a family, a date, someone from in or outside of town or if you just want to get away for a few hours then I highly recommend this beautiful treasure.By Shannon Meyer (2 months ago)

This place is beautiful! The staff is so wonderful and friendly and helpful. You can buy tickets once you get there but if you buy them in advance, it goes faster. Elevators and stairs, bathrooms on every floor. 3 floors total. Price of tickets aren’t bad either. The exhibits, architecture, and artwork are top notch and this is one of my favorite museums I have ever visited! We spent all day here and I feel like we still didn’t even scratch the surface. If I could change anything I would have planned to come right at opening so we could experience this for the entirety of opening! Mind you I am partial to art. We went and they had a car exhibit and they were so unique. Also seeing a real life van Gogh painting was really cool. I’d definitely go again. They also had art from Mexico, middle east, native Americans, Japan and Korea. I love international art so it was fun to look at everything. The exhibits don’t flow very well, so take a map to be able to follow your path if you want to make sure you see everything. Very cool cafe inside, museum architecture itself is interesting. I just recently worked with Luis who is in charge of their events at a recent wedding. It was an immaculate day. He was so attentive, on it, and knew exactly how to serve our client well. He was very communicative with vendors prior explaining things like the building lay out and parking for the event to ensure it would go seamlessly. This stop was a nice surprise. There were very nice trails that led us to multiple overlook areas. Many of the trails were paved and easy to walk for the grandmas. It looks like they are adding even more amenities to the site.By Krista (5 months ago)Absolutely gorgeous. For all the hikers, and backpackers! Start at the lower falls early day (at open) take in the lower falls and it’s beauty then take the 4.4 mile hike. It’s trail rated “hard” and I’ll admit, for someone who doesn’t have much hiking experience just starting out and Ill admit am a little out of shape this was a tough one at times. But if you take your time you can make it. Once you finish this 5 mile hike (trust me it’s more like 5 miles once you get off) you can either choose to go down one of viewing areas, don’t. Just go to the bathroom refill on water and eat your lunch. Give your legs a break. When you rested up a Lil then check the viewing areas and enjoy the upper falls, then do the trail in reverse to get back to your car. When you finish, spend the rest of the day on the island in the lower falls. It’s a great place to swim and relax.
It’s got alot of steep inclines and declines you feel like you trekked a mile and you did .5 haha but it was absolutely awesome! All of it! I’d do it again in a heartbeat and I’ll be back to do it again.

We were there late in the day and I recommend bug spray! Mosquitoes were vicious!! The falls were gorgeous and the trails were maybe the nicest I’d ever been on. Wide, easy to traverse for all age groups and the handicapped. Amazing experience for people of all ages. The museum is big and has a lot of different sections about trains, cars, planes and machinery.
You can get great pictures and also learn interesting facts about the development of all that.
It is also interactive, with places where people can play games, practice being in the pit stop amongst other things.
You need a couple of hours to be able to see everything.
Very fun and entertaining. There is a lot of history here and very educational. The staff in the village are very welcoming and informative about their task on the working farm. The museum had a lot of very interesting cars, planes and other historical facts and items from the past. The only negative thing for today’s venture was a stand in the village was distributing custard to the people in line, but it was melting as it was being handed to the people purchasing it.
Absolutely incredible and exquisite exhibits. Everything is laid out so well you can easily travel from one section to the next, with a smooth transition in-between.
The cases are spaciously laid out as to not be overwhelming. This creates a good flowing atmosphere that keeps you moving and staring at the next item.
There’s a nice cafeteria that you can eat at, but hold on to your tickets. You’ll need them to get back into the museum.
The attendants are wonderful. The place is neat, tidy, and just fun. Definitely take your kids here, your wife, everyone will have something to look at here!
Incredible the history of Ford! It’s a huge museum with lots to see. We didn’t see everything as I think it would take a few days.
The old locomotives were a highlight for me, as well as the cars. The presidential cars was very cool to see.
I’m not a huge fan of racing but I have to admit it was very interesting yo learn about racers as athletes and seeing some powerful racing cars over the years.
Another highlight was the mathematics, airplanes, and furnishings. The doll houses were incredibly beautiful and detailed.
The Walt Disney costumes were also very cool to see up close. If you love fabric and costumes, I highly recommend to see the exhibit. It is only for a short while though.
The food was good, some variety of sandwiches, snack food and entree meal. The ladies who work there were wonderful, very funny, and very helpful. I really enjoyed the experience and hope to go back to see what I missed!
So much to see in the museum. It will take you half a day to read through everything and walk through all the exhibit. Even a quick walk through needs about 3 hours.
You learn so much on automotive, manufacturing, American history and culture, aerospace and Glass !
Love all the massive locomotive engines and massive power generator. They are just massive and beautiful. Train museum is usually outside but it was nice that Henry Ford manage to put these massive engines indoor
