  1. Had an amazing experience here. ALL staff I encountered are incredibly friendly and helpful.

This place is warm and welcoming and the history here is immaculately maintained; I really was shocked, they clearly go to an extremely high level of detail to maintain the entire premises.
Immediate access to Central park, walked then rented a bike and cruised for half of the day, you can cover a lot of ground if you are brave!

Bonus, the shower pressure is something I’ve never mentioned in a review but it was amazing…like standing under a waterfall!

  2. By far the best hotel experience I’ve had in quite some time. The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly, they very much so obviously care about the guests and strive to make it a pleasurable experience for everyone. High quality food, beautiful suites and overall a luxuries atmosphere that exceeds expectations. At the affordable price of around $600/night, this getaway can be exactly what you’ve been looking for. A++

  3. Service is great and aside from the bath room nothing is impressive.
Room seemed to be outdated the carpet and the furniture showed ecsseive wear and the view is non existing.
For the money there a lot of nicer places in the city.
    Avoid the hype.
    Location is freak though.

  4. We only had drinks at the bar. But the atmosphere and the service… everything here is on a another level. A special experience.

  5. Stayed at the Plaza and did the Home Alone experience with my son and his friend, they absolutely loved it and would highly recommend the experience for anyone who is a fan of the Home Alone movie. The Plaza is one of the most famous iconic hotels in NYC with tons of history and beauty. The location is right in the heart of Midtown as well, making it a great place to have a home base during your visit. It’s one of the great places stay if your looking for a high end visit to NYC.

Hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Room was huge for New York and loved having central air. Bed was comfortable. We had Ivonne (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) at check in and it was so nice to be greeted by a friendly face, she is wonderful. Check in took less than 2 minutes.

Would highly recommend staying here and I will be back in the future.

This hotel at best deserves 3 rather than 4 stars.

Pros: comfortable bed; late check-out (1:00 PM for free).

Cons: In 2 out 3 days we stayed here elevators were not working, or one out of five would work; heating in our room was not working once we arrived; bathroom needs renovation (and remodeling); line for check-in was long and checking itself was very slow. In addition, room amenities are very limited for a 4 star hotel.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Perfect place to stay in Manhattan. It’s within walking distance of Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, and many more places. Easily access Grand Central Station through the lobby. It was reasonably priced and the room was a bit small, but modern and clean. Perfect for a 4 nights stay. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable of how to the take the subway to go to different places. Will be staying here again.

The Hyatt is in a brilliant location being attached to Grand Central Station. There are loads of attractions only a short walk away. The rooms themselves are clean, tidy and quiet. You can’t really hear the street outside so you can get a good nights rest. The rooms are a little rundown as it seems maintenance has been put on the back burner now. We heard a rumour the hotel will be closing next year for renovation so not a surprise the little things aren’t being repaired. The service from the staff was good but you can tell they are understaffed so the queues were long for the front desk and the food court. But overall we enjoyed our stay here at the Hyatt and would consider it again if we return to New York.

Overall decent hotel. Would I stay again. Probably not. While it was in a great location, being interconnected with grand central station. The cons outweighed the pros. Such as the resort fee which was $39.99 plus taxes. With that money it gives you $15 at the hotels market. But why not just lower the resort fee. We are in NYC, we don’t want hotel food. We tried to check out early and ask to hold onto our bags so we could have a couple more hours and then housekeeping could get our room ready for the next guest. But we found out that it was a $3 a bag fee, which just seems crazy. We are already paying a resort fee. Parking now was a whole different story. Getting to the hotel and valeting our car was great. Trying to get our car when checking out was difficult and a long process. After waiting a while, as they only had one valet working. We walked to the Westin where our car was, which was a lot quicker than waiting.

I really wanted to give a 5 star review. The hotel is exceptionally beautiful, the location is great and the room was much bigger than NYC standard. Price was reasonable as well.

During our stay, only 1 elevator appeared to be working. Every morning, we waited 15 minutes with no elevator in sight. On 2 occasions we ended up walking more than 10 flights of stairs.

On checkout, we waited 25 minutes as only 1 person was working at reception. I needed a receipt, but the hotel does not have an automated checkout system. Many guests repeatedly told the staff to get some help, but apparently, there were staff cuts during Covid (though the hotel was full).

Toilet had low flow and would leak a bit from the handle when flushed. Not a big deal, but not what I would expect from a high end hotel.

Would I stay there again? Maybe. But changes need to be made instead of simply relying on past reputation.

This hotel is in a great location. Staff goes above and beyond for their customers. They had several hand sanitizers which made us feel safer about their awareness. The staff is almost over accommodating, but expected for the price. Anyone would feel super pampered and it was a really nice experience especially for individuals who work more than full-time just to make ends meet and just want to really relax. Room service is very fast, they come in and setup your table, they whistle for cabs, they hold your delivery at the desk. Overall amazing weekend for us.

The bell staff were phenomenal, so welcoming and exactly what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The desk staff were okay but I would have expected a higher standard of service. The bar is beautiful and drinks are good, though be prepared to pay significantly more than you would outside of the hotel. The views of St Patrick’s and the city are great. The rooms are okay. They are spacious for NYC though dated. The TVs are tiny, old and you can’t stream anything from them or cast onto them. For the cost, the rooms could definitely use updating.

Such a beautiful place! The service here is impeccable! My only complaint is that for so much money, there isn’t even a coffee maker available and their prices for in room service are quite steep! However, that being said, the location, service, cleanliness & all around vibe is complete perfection! Every, single staff person you come in contact with is not only helpful, their attitude is warm, friendly & genuinely concerned that your stay is top notch!

If you’re lucky enough to get a high up cathedral view then you’re in for a treat, it’s quite spectacular and the city sights are all around wonderful. As for the rest of the stay, the room was good, not packed with complementary amenities and we didn’t use room service, but the location is great for heading out to get coffee or eat nearby. The interior is of course impressive, the staff very helpful, and the bar is also great to experience. Probably the cleanest hotel in the best shape I’ve stayed in, while in NYC.

So, I think the rooms have seen better days however the bed was comfy, the crisp white bedding felt fresh and the towels were plentiful. The c/s was amazing; I loved the staff at the front desk. They were all lovely & accommodating. One bit to keep in mind, if you are facing Times Square at all, the noise is pretty loud until 2-3 am. Overall, a nice stay for our long weekend in NYC.

Great location on Times Square! Impeccable staff. They were beyond helpful and friendly! Front desk check in was seamless! The hotel is beautiful from the entrance to the rooms. I really loved the decor! By far beats the old style decor in some of the other hotels in Manhattan.

I Thoroughly Enjoyed my entire 4 days/3 nights stay here at the W Times Square! You can Trust and Believe I will be staying at this hotel once again upon my next visit to NYC! Soon too….From the time I checked in with Desk Clerk W Representative – Oscar D. whom was very Customer Service oriented, Courteous & Friendly providing exceptional accommodations and advice on the What/Where/Who’s of the Hotel amenities. Thank you Oscar D. for welcoming me Big Time at W Times Square and the Big Apple. I sincerely hope your superiors appreciate you as much as I Do as a patron of the Marriott brand! I’m a Bonvoy member! Two Thumbs Up!!!

The service was amazing! From the time we pulled up at the entrance we were greeted by Marcel and he loaded our luggage and escorted us to the desk. Another gentleman escorted us to our room as well.

The room was great as well! Clean, nicely arranged.

The view however was subpar. I paid for Times Square view but all we could see was the other hotel across the street. We chose the W for a nice view but did not get what we expected. For that, I would give it 3 stars. The Sheraton on 53rd looks like it has nice views

Excellent location directly in the theatre district for easy access to Broadway shows and all that Times Square has to offer. Nice updated rooms and lounge area. One note – the “queen” beds felt more like a double and didn’t really accommodate two normal sized adults comfortably. Over all a good stay.

The lobby is impressive when you walk in, a classic 1930’s feel and that sets the trend for the rest of the hotel. My room was spacious and despite it looking vintage it had plenty of charging points and electrical sockets. Just perfect for a business trip.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom a good size with everything working perfectly. Above all everything was cleaned to a high standard which is probably one of the most important things when staying at a hotel.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy staying here again!

Large hotel, with helpful front staff. Room rate was on the higher side than we normally like to pay. We like to travel by car, parking is expensive, worked out to $92 Canadian a night! We found the bell hops to be very courteous and front desk associates helpful and understanding (especially when someone decided to remove bottles from the mini bar without reading that you’re automatically charged for them).
Rooms are clean, well decorated. Bathroom is good size, clean, well appointed.
My only complaint would be the size of the shared double bed. The hotel description says the room sleeps three, which is good for us,but the double beds are small in size and make for an uncomfortable sleep for 2. We overall liked the hotel and it’s location to various points of interest, but would not stay again unless we splurge for a more expensive room with larger beds.

The InterContinental Barclay is a beautiful, very, well kept hotel. Very classy & chic!

Great location- walking distance to pretty much everything.

The hotel is very clean, has no weird smells. Room is extremely clean & beautiful. It’s been all updated and remodeled! Beds are comfortable. Even though the rooms are on the smaller side- the space is actually great. Bathroom is very very clean and has a fantastic mirror which lights up- so doing you’re makeup is actually great. It has a magnifying mirror as well!!

Staff is very kind and helpful especially Sofia! ?

Overall, a great stay and an outstanding experience! The staff was very attentive to our needs and eager to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were beautiful.
Great midtown location, close to Central Park, 5th avenue, grand central station.
The hotel’s breakfast buffet was over the top, with a beautiful assortment of food and great servers who keep the hot coffee, tea & chilled juices coming. We will definitely come back!

We stayed for two nights at the intercontinental hotel and had a pretty great experience. The hotel itself is very authentic and fits the aesthetic of the city well, with engravings and paintings showcasing the best the city has to offer. Our room was clean and tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. We didn’t stay in our room too much though, as the hotel is in a prime location next to Times Square, Park Ave, and so many great places to explore.

Overall a great place to spend a few nights in NYC!
