Best hotel experience we have had since pandemic. Housekeeping is great, same time, very clean and always clean towels. Everyone who works there is super helpful. The vallet is busy but super convenient right at bottom of escalator. Busy area but super safe and next to really fun places! Love getting free sparkling water every morning!By Lyris Yee Patterson (6 months ago)We had a great time at the Laylow Autograph Hotel! Everything was clean, and comfortable each day when we returned back to the hotel! Love the 2 king size beds!! We never had that option before! Wished they were a bit more firm though. The reception workers were very welcoming and pleasant! Love their free icy at 1-2pm which we thought was a great and fun added experience for all ages! We love the gift basket they provided to welcome us! The slippers were super useful and a great added memorabilia! We felt relaxed and the rooms were quite soundproofed as we couldn’t hear our neighbour’s at all!? Best of all their air conditioners worked really well!! The hotel is at a very central location close to everything within walking distance! We didn’t get any views in our room unfortunately but, overall thanks for a great time!!?By Jenny Wong (2 months ago)Such an amazing place! 6 of us travelled here 4 adults and 2 children and had 2 King size rooms. The hotel is clean and everyone is so friendly. The kids loved the pool (of course) and the shaved ice every day was amazing. Everything about our experience was fantastic. The food and coffee at the hideaway restaurant was phenomenal. Plus kids crafts every day and live music weekend evenings! I would absolutely travel here again and I am recommending this place to all of my friends. Thank you for a great stay!By Ashley Rowland (3 months ago)Pros:
1. Walkable to Waikiki and other restaurants near there. It is super close to international market place.
2. They have a few programs throughout the day you can enjoy for free.
3. They provide free beach towels whenever you ask, just drop them off at the lobby before heading to your room.
4. When you go up to your room after check-in, there is a welcome basket with their signature (two) flip-flops, chocolates, bottles of water and etc.Cons:
1. They don’t have ice and water machine in every floor but just one in the 1st floor so you have to go down every single time.
2. They don’t have self-parking but its all valet parking that charges nearly $50 overnight. (Plus you have to tip them every time you get your car out.)
3. Water pressure is not that strong.Despite the cons, our family enjoyed staying there and are willing to stay if we visit Oahu again.
By M (2 months ago)LOVED this place!! Nicest staff ever. Very clean room. Super convenient location (Starbucks Reserve and the International Market Place both next door, beach is an easy walk). Restaurant has terrific food, we ate breakfast here every morning.
Thank you to Ashley, the front office manager, for her amazing customer service and her professional, friendly, and efficient team.
We will always stay here for all subsequent visits.By Christopher Cassidy (6 months ago)

The first thing you should understand is that this is a family resort. Lots and lots of kids, which is OK because I have a few myself. If you’re a couple looking for a romantic and somewhat quiet get away this probably wouldn’t be the way to go. I really enjoyed the restaurants and the food service was above and beyond. However, the lines on the elevators and for check in (over 100 people at a time) were a bit crazy. If Vegas can figure out how to check in hundreds of thousands per day this resort should be able to as well. Overall I enjoyed my stay because the staff were so friendly, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again.By adam bratland (a month ago)Beautiful location with direct beach access. This conglomerate of Hilton hotels bunched together creating a little shopping haven. What is unique with this Hilton location is the fire work every Friday night at 8pm. An experience you do not want to miss. The fire work is beautiful and proximal that it feels 3D.
Bali at the waterfront for breakfast: the waitress I have was attentive, personable and made great suggestions. Although it looks real pricey, the portion size is decent and can be shared…what make up for the price is the view of the ocean and the food being served immediately piping hot.
The only cons are the front desk could have smile more and be friendlier. Being a diamond member and could not get any member benefits when subscribed to the Hilton Grand vacation package was a total disappointment. Not only you can’t check in early, we had to wait 3 hours to be notified that our room was ready. Then wait another hour at the mail and key line to find out that our room was not ready. That was a little perturbing.
By Anthony Chan (4 months ago)Great experience at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The website could use an update as it was a little misleading on a few things. And heads up if you book an excursion, which I highly recommend, the service at the hotel is excellent, but you will be asked to go to a presentation on time shares and if you decline, the team becomes a little less enthusiastic about helping you. ? we enjoyed the many restaurants, the fun activities, and the shops at the resort. We really could have spent the entire week there and never had to leave. I appreciated the towel service and the hospitality crew were fantastic. Check in was easy and the staff at the desk were wonderful. Overall it was a perfect getaway for my husband and I.By Jackie Allred (a month ago)The General Manager (Jeff) + all staff of the hotel were amazing, helpful and accommodating. This helped my family and I to actually relax and enjoy every moment we were there. I am so grateful for the hospitality and professionalism from initially booking to departure.Very clean resort with very high standards.
Excellent location. Accessible stores and food options within the village + a 15 minute walk to the main strip regardless, for shopping and restaurants. Parking although expensive, is in a secured garage steps away from each of the buildings in the resort.
Beach front, lagoon and landscaping were well maintained and beautiful.
Mandara Spa on site was helpful to rectify an issue and the massage was excellent.
By jim nava (6 months ago)Great spot to stay if you’re into all inclusive resort style vacationing. Great location and lots of dining options within the village. Really clean and excellent staff to help assist you with all your needs. The only thing I felt that was unfortunate and would like to see change is the one time-use toiletries in the bathroom. Definitely not environmentally conscious. Refills would be much better especially given the scale of this hotel. Otherwise a great spot to stay.By Lisa S Radeleff (4 months ago)

We loved our stay at the Imperial Hawaiian! The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. We utilized the valet service which was excellent. They had fresh towels for us when we needed them, a pool, sauna, and two outdoor hot tubs. The view of the sunset from the top floor was amazing. We were within walking distance to almost everything in Waikiki, which was super nice since parking can be an issue at times. Overall, our stay was great and we would definitely come back!By Mary Romero (4 months ago)My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon on the studio suite and had a wonderful time. The staff is excellent all around and we’re quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We arrived a bit early, so we waited in the owners lounge on the high floor for our room. The view there is AMAZING, and there are massage chairs in there as well.
Our room was quite comfy, and had a nice little kitchenette with an eating area. It was a good fit for 2 people. Our room was very clean upon arrival and housekeeping did an amazing job with refreshing it throughout our stay.
The Valet Parking staff were outstanding. They were so quick and polite! There is a lot of foot and car traffic in the area, and the Valet staff were on top of keeping the area clear. They made it so quick and easy to drop off and pick up our rental car each time!
The staff surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a dinner giftcard for our honeymoon! It was very generous of them 🙂 big thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome. We would be happy to stay here again
By Melodie Cerrillo (a month ago)We loved our time at The Imperial Hotel. Location was fantastic and only a short stroll to the beach. It had the BEST ABC store downstairs for all our needs and the staff were super friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. We had a room on a high floor with partial views of the beautiful ocean which my kids loved. The roof top pool was great and the views were fantastic. My only small criticism would be the hotel rooms are a little out-dated furniture wise and the beds weren’t comfortable but the room had all we needed for our family – having two bathrooms was bloody fantastic, and having a kitchen as well was really useful for our family. We would stay here again (just please upgrade your mattresses :)).By Sarah Read (3 weeks ago)We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with prompt, friendly, helpful staff. Our valet parking crew though busy were especially quick in parking and getting our cars (ask for their affordable weekly parking discounts). We enjoyed the location which is accessible to the beach, shopping malls, restaurants, etc. Our family of 11 were comfortable sleeping in two Palm suites with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. Love the scenic view from two balconies per suite. Strong WIFI connection. Our children enjoyed the amenities like gym, swimming pool, beach towels, etc.. Ample laundry appliances with a large ABC store conveniently located at its doorstep. We’ll definitely stay there again.By Joyce Tan (3 weeks ago)Location is great! You can just walk to the beach. Shops and restaurants are at the same street. Denny’s is just right down next to the front door. Staff are very accomodating. The bathroom is a little small and outdated but clean. The rooms are also clean and big with nice terrace where you can see the view of the nice buildings nearby and half view of the ocean. It was a fantastic place over all.By Ella JD (3 months ago)

We stayed with our 10 month old and everything was absolutely great. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a crib and he had fun crawling around the room. The pool had a shallow area where he was able to sit by himself. Location was great cos it in the middle of Waikiki beach and able to walk to the beach and plenty of great spots to eat, both affordable and fancy spots. McDonald’s too was right next to us for a late night snack if you’re awake and everything else is closed. One thing we didn’t realize when we booked was we had to pay for parking for every single day. Self parking is cheaper; there was valet too which could make it easier if you’re traveling with a larger group. Overall had an awesome experience.By Iman Rasheed (4 weeks ago)The location was really good, although Waikiki is an extremely touristy place the rooftop bar feels like you have left the touristy streets. The rooms were Nice (located in the beach side rooms)
A fair few cons tho, although this should be a 4-5 star resort at times it didn’t feel like it. We asked for a partial beach view, and was mainly buildings with a glimpse of beach. A man behind the bar (Chris I think?) was quite rude, we expect to have pool side/table service at all times, however, the man stated we had to come collect/order our food and drinks at the bar which meant kept having to get in and out of the pool (lots of staff still on duty). Although when the females were on duty, table service was allowed and we felt extremely welcomed! The music was extremely loud, could hear it on level 17 at 10pm. I think the staff should also manage who leaves the pool, as seen, some would put towels on spare chairs and then leave for hours. Or one lady put 4 towels on different chairs to “save them” then no one would show up for 3+ hours. Also would recommend putting guests over walk ins on the pool lounges. Our room was only ever cleaned 1/6 days. The only other time was a house keeper coming at 5:30pm and we declined as it was night time and expect it to be done during the day. Although, this all sounds so negative and I am not one to write a negative review but when you are paying a lot of money, you expect these certain things to be met or to not have as many negative things to say. Overall, I’d say this is a 3 star hotel with the possibility of being a 4-5 star resort if fixing those issues.By natasha Russell (5 months ago)Great location, comfortable and clean room, nice pool and jacuzzi, good service, food at bar/restaurant could use improvement.I was in room 1962. king bed with ocean and diamond head view. Bed was clean and comfortable, slept well each night. Air conditioning was easy to control and worked quickly and I believe automatically turned off if the patio doors were open. Did not hear my neighbors at all unless I was out on the patio. Yes the carpet looks dirty but it was a design choice not because it hasn’t been cleaned. The mini fridge was the probably the only major failure in the room, it takes a long time to cool things and probably had food poisoning from some leftovers I put inside.
The location is perfect. All food options were within a 10 minute walk at most and the beach is just across the street.
All in all, a good, affordable modern hotel.
By Christopher (6 months ago)Excellent location and a fabulous hotel. We were 3 sisters sharing one room. It was a little small but apart from that we so enjoyed it. We had access to The Long Board Club room – Excellent!! Breakfast was delicious and varied and the staff especially Goh was so good. Afternoon snacks with wine and beer was a great way to start our evening. There was an issue with room service as it was not back to normal after the pandemic. There was no problem getting fresh towels etc as there was always a housekeeping cart on our floor. Definitely I’d recommend this hotelBy Susan Brennan (4 months ago)Fabulous location within easy walking distance to Waikiki beach and restaurants. An excellent cafe with some of the best Italian coffee in Hawaii is on site.
Reception were very professional and accommodating to requests and made our stay easy and enjoyable.
Our room was very clean and spacious with cleaning every second day.
The pool area was a little disappointing and could be more family friendly. Allowing guests to down rounds of Tequila shots in the pool made this area feel more like an adult bar zone than a relaxing pool area suitable for kids.By Murray Fenwick (3 months ago)

Did your favorite spot make the cut? Let us know in the comments above!
Went here for our honeymoon- beautiful hotel but a lot of improvements could be made.
These were our negatives.
We spent $4k to stay here for our honeymoon yet if you want a sunbed round the pool you have to get up early due to people leaving towels on them and disappearing until later in the day
If you want a sunbed on the beach these are an extra $80 A DAY!!
The ones which have four posts and a curtain attached are $200!!
So for us even spending $4000 to stay at the hotel it seemed we were lower class and laid on the beach with sand blowing on us.
One night we went to sit in the main bar area where the piano / music is played- with our coffees that we just bought at the hotel outside bar and was told the seats were only for people spending a two drink minimum- our coffees didn’t count – again we were made to feel like the poor lower class guests.
The last other thing was breakfast. We had complimentary continental breakfast and the servers were very quick to point out it only included one drink and not lattes – again $4K spent to stay there and I can’t have a bit of steamed milk in my coffee. I just think that’s very mean and poor form.
Maybe the managers making these rules should concentrate on the cleanliness as the restaurant could do with a dust.
Things were way overpriced in the hotel which I would expect but $12 for a (non alcoholic) frozen kona coffee from the pool bar. TWELVE DOLLARS!!
All in all nice hotel way overpriced
What a beautiful hotel! Staff was very friendly, accommodating. Rooms way more than we expected and the ocean view fantastic! What a beautiful old hotel that’s been updated but still has it’s understated original charm and luxurious feel. I can only imagine what the “First Lady” looked like in it’s early hey day. Hope to return and spend more time.
Great location, excellent service, and awesome beach. Bathroom was a little dated, but the bed is comfortable, water is hot, and water pressure was good. Our ocean view room had a beautiful view of Waikiki beach from the balcony. Good on site dining options, especially the breakfast. You’re better off going across the street into the International Marketplace for multiple restaurant options for dinner.
Such beauty and elegance at this hotel. We stayed there while on our honeymoon ❤️ I love the architecture of this hotel, it was very romantic. It even has a beautiful art gallery and a lovely gift shop. We had easy access to Waikiki Beach. We really enjoyed our stay in Honolulu! You must experience it at least once!?
Stayed here for 5 days and had wonderful time. Our room got upgraded to a higher floor in the tower and the room was nice, but the view was amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is beautiful and has a lot of character from the Victorian era. Pool is not that nice, but the beach chairs were available for booking and we enjoyed our time just chilling on the beach. Bar staff were friendly and made great drinks and the food was also very good. Would definitely stay here again.
