  The staff are absolutely fantastic. The food was plentiful. Only complaint I had in that department was that it took time to get my lactose from milk and then someone else used it up,I also asked for sugar-free drinks like crystal light and I never got that so I got stuck with plain water the entire time.
  The accommodations were the very best. They left nothing out and I felt treated with respect and dignity. Thank you everyone.

  Gateway filled a huge need for highest quality compassionate detox care in the Twin Cities.I operate several sober homes in St. Paul and have referred several clients to Gateway in the midst of great need. Every single time it’s been a state of the art experience for the client and their family. When relapse happens the need is for help NOW and it doesn’t tend to happen during bankers hours. Gateway has knowledgeable, compassionate and responsive staff available at all times day, night, weekends. They’ve quickly become the gold standard for detox care.

  Amazing place! So helpful! I attended this gateway to inpatient and treatment after care/detox program. Checked myself on December 8th, 2021 and have been sober since! The staff are so helpful and make sure you are at the most comfortable you can be at when you’re going through the worst of your withdrawals. Never have I been able to sleep through the worst days of withdrawaling, but here I slept soundly through the 2nd and 3rd day straight until they could start me on any treatments for opiate care. They have counselors on duty that you can talk to all day to help find the best fit for you to go after your stay there, and I ended up staying where I was referred to for an extra 20 days when I originally planned on staying at my inpatient for 28 days! There’s TV with cable in every room and a self serve fridge with pop and Gatorade and vitamin water. Candy and chips and snacks out all day to eat. It’s coed. And the best part is if you’re afraid because you’ve been to county detox and are an opiate addict, they usually kick you out no matter what after 72 hours, here they go by “the highest success rate is going door to door.” So they’ll keep you for however long they need to until you have a bed at an inpatient facility opened up for you.

  This place is so nice and clean. Way better than other detox facility I have ever been too. The nurses and staff are so nice. There isn’t alot to do there so bring books, or stuff to do. The chef they have makes amazing food as well. It is really laid back there which is great. When you are going through detox you don’t feel the greatest the first few days but they give you comfort meds and let you just lay in bed if you need too. highly recommend.

  The place is definitely a good place to recover and detox but there counselors were the worst and bias never felt so racially discriminated they had no after care plan and when I spoke up I was punished…I don’t blame it on the owner nor the techs but it’s the counceleor she was really rude and showed no compassion…I so wanted the help but just kicked me out because I spoke up for myself

  Heights Treatment Facility is a really helpful recovery inpatient facility. The staffs here are really lovely and they are so caring. I went to this inpatient Facility not wanting to really go and clueless about even trying to enter. A staff at Heights who works in intake took her time and was patient to give me the time to go in and was willing to pick me up if anything and when I finally decided to go and start my recovery I loved the staffs there. So caring and even the therapy dogs Dozer and Wallace; So caring and happy that I grew to really love that place. I had started off unwilling but after just 24 days I was happy and back into my normal sober routines again. Walked out those doors with a coin, a graduated certificate and a poster with a goodluck note with my name printed big on it. I was proud and grateful and thankful and knew I had made new wonderful friends and I will never forget my fun and so little time with The Heights, Thank you so much Heights. You guys made a impact in my life and I will never forget you all.
