I went into the program at Ocean State Recovery begrudgingly, but it was the best decision I ever made. My addiction to drugs was going to kill me and OSR saved my life. The staff is hands down the best in the business. They are knowledgeable but more importantly they actually care and become invested in your recovery. The bonds that I made with fellow clients was a true blessing and made the hard work of recovery fun. I give Ocean State Recovery Center five stars and would recommend to anyone looking for sobriety. Call today because tomorrow could be too late!

I can’t say enough about Ocean State Recovery Center after a friend of mine went through one of their programs. The staff is amazing – everyone has been so caring and respectful to my friend (and all their clients). She was not treated like just another number, but they took the time to really listen and to put together a realistic and attainable plan. I would recommend Ocean State to anyone looking for a comprehensive plan to see them through their recovery every step of the way!

Incredible staff and clients at this program. Clinicians are extremely knowledgeable, always willing to help and put the client first in every circumstance. So grateful to have had the opportunity to complete this program and would recommend Ocean State to anyone and everyone looking to begin their recovery journey and better their life!

This was my first experience with a recovery program and thanks to the knowledge, relationships, and tools I’ve gained at Ocean State Recovery Center, I feel strong in my ability stay sober. The Counselors and Staff are remarkable in providing a safe and supportive environment that I needed to open up about my struggles with addiction in groups as well as in 1:1 sessions. OSRC helped me get my life back and I can enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for their own path to recovery.

I have to say that the southern New England rehab center at Fatima hospital is by far the most warm welcoming experience that I have ever had in a hospital setting the staff and the occupational therapist the physical therapist and the recreation therapist and all the RNs and CNAs and case managers at first I was really scared not knowing what to expect in an inpatient rehab but they took all of that fear and made me feel so very welcome I highly recommend this facility to anybody who needs comprehensive rehabif I could give 10 stars I would all the staff in my eyes are angels

My mom has been at West View nursing home for the past few years. The level of care and compassion is unbelievably beyond what I expected. The staff is very caring especially nurses and the Activities Department headed by Matt with Cheryl and Mary Ann keep the patients happy active and became part of our family. Thank you for all the happy years.

The nurses are wonderful. They took great care of my mom for a few weeks. They lost her clothes for a week, however. The place is not pretty, but they’ll take care of your relative. My mom did say the towels are really small and she was freezing when she was given a shower, however.

Would never recommend this place! In November 2022 only one nurse per floor and two CNA’s. A nurse called me at 2am because my family members medication was not there from the hospital. I asked why she wasn’t calling the doctor on call. Her answer was he won’t answer the phone at this time! The doctor went in once the days my family member was there and only discussed golf and his affiliation with a local country club. I asked for him to call me three times. Never received one call from him. He sent a bill over $300 though. My family member checked out AMA as they didn’t put surgical stockings on him, didn’t provide PT other than a short walk and balloon toss for 15-20 minutes once a day. Legs were all swollen. When leaving I heard two employees. One asked what the other was doing snd the CNA answered “taking care of the people I hate”. I complained to the nurses submitted a complaint to the social worker who all agreed the place was lacking! I told the social worker it is her responsibility to do something with such low staff the safety of those patients is at risk. She agreed. The nurse told me the CNA’s are paid less than McDonald’s which is awful! But they shouldn’t work there if they aren’t meant for that type of work in their heart. Nor should the doctors! The place should be closed but sadly not many quick options for people. I would strongly urg you to look elsewhere and wait for a professional establishment especially if you’re longing for term needs. I could go on it was not a good place. Took him to the urgent care when we left.

I went here to deliver a doordash order and was poorly treated by staff. I had a mask on and everything, stated I was here to drop off and they stated “Put it there and leave” while giving a bit of attitude

Many thanks to everyone who took care of my husband Christopher (Lenny). The staff were so excellent. Everyone was pleasant beyond my expectations. My husband liked the food too!

I visited some clergy colleagues who are residents at Dawn Hill Home.
I found the place and staff welcoming and friendly. My resident friends were relaxed and comfortable. The staff were quietly efficient, in no way intrusive. I felt I would enjoy future visits. The weather was beautiful, and the quadrangle was a peaceful haven for quiet conversation or personal reflection. I think we are fortunate to have such a facility in our locality.

This was our first visit to Dawn Hill. We found it to be welcoming, the staff extremely pleasant, the rooms spacious. All in all an upgrade from the last facility my mother in law was in. Thank you.

I just finished a stay for a little more than two months at the Westerly Health Center. I must say this place was amazing well organized professional caring, communication was incredible follow up you name of this place has it going on. Everyone was happy every single moment everyone treat me with respect and compassion and they made me feel like I was part of the family. If you are in need of rehab or if you have an elderly person or parents that need to stay at a nursing facility this is the best place that I’ve seen ever. I’ve spent two other rehabs at other we have facilities and they don’t even come close to how great this place is . My room was kept very clean every day they wipe down every knob every handle swept mopped and disinfected everything the room was immaculate so wasn’t a place in the hallways in the cafeteria everywhere the food and beverage department did amazing job they were like clockwork delivering the beverages first and then some came a hot meal every single time the food was amazing the staff was very very accommodating so wasn’t the chef . Can’t say enough about the nurses every single nurse that I encountered took credible care of me and they were incredibly knowledgeable caring professional lots of experience couldn’t ask for a better staff administrative office often help me out with things paperwork printing mailing they were so accommodating and friendly they welcomed me in I wanna thank Sherry, Nancy, Devon, Alisa, Dominique, Carol, Rachel, Dave, Eileen, Crystal, Carrie, Christine, Jen, Shannon, Nicole, Prudence, Kathy, Eryka, Jordan, Kathleen, Donna, Stephany, Cathy, Eileen, Scott, Danielle, Tara, Talia, Doctor Sara,
Rosemary, Chris, from maintenance was also amazing and his team was amazing, if there was a name that I missed I do apologize there’s so many great people there I couldn’t catch all the names or remember everyone. I wanna wish everybody a happy holidays and again I want to thank Westerly Health Center for being an incredible experience and I highly recommend Westerly Health Center to anyone in need. Thank you

My experience with my sweet mom that had dementia. Entered this facility 2 1/2 years ago. From the day she enter the facility I found there was lack of care and compassion. Mom suffered broken teeth, broken nose, numerous bruises and hospital visits that could’ve been prevented if people were watching her…
The infection that I brought to their attention two weeks ago was probably an ongoing UTI that was let go far too long. By the time she was taken to the hospital by my request she also had pneumonia. Uncompassionate administrators, social workers. The new floor nurses seemed to care , but the head staff not so
They cleared her room out without contacting me on Saturday , day she died. Obviouslyi was at the hospital with her. I went in the next day Sunday, ( yesterday) to start getting her possessions. Walked into an empty room. The nurses said the paperwork work noted the family gave permission to empty the room. I am the only family she had.
I asked for the written consent. There is None.

When interviewing with this faculty to get your loved one in you’ll feel very welcomed and be shown the best of environments. Upstairs in dementia unit was dirty, residents in their rooms were mostly unattended. I found my mom sitting in feces and unwashed many times in her room alone

Go somewhere else if you care for your loved one 😥
I have attached pictures on this review of mom’s injuries

My mom was a resident there. She turned 95 and the next night she had an unsupervised fall. She was legally blind with dementia. A nurse called me and said she had a fall so they were sending her to the hospital.
It didn’t sound serious. I was without a car and living in Warwick. The next morning when I arrived I was shocked on how I found my mom. On top of all this she was on cumidine and her count was 7 times higher than normal. Neglect was what the nurse told me. She died from injuries from the fall a week later.
