Went into Tulip Hill, not knowing what to expect. Left the facility after almost 2 months with life long friends (accountability partners) and other resources to continue my journey in recovery. The staff there were very helpful throughout my process and continued to check on me even after my treatment ended and I went back into the real world. The office staff were more than accommodating when it came to dealing with my insurance and Short term disability. I could not have figured it out without them. I highly recommend Tulip hill for anyone considering starting their new life beyond sobriety, and into recovery.

I feel like my every need was met while at Tulip Hill. The staff were very friendly, down to earth, and genuinely cared about me and my recovery. The groups were very helpful and informative. The homes we lived in were very nice with staff always available close by to help if we needed them. I also enjoyed the outings we went on. I learned a lot about myself, others, and left with very helpful tools for my recovery and life that I use everyday. I also gained new people in my life that I consider more than friends. Thank you Tulip Hill!

Tulip Hill is hands down the best extended care program in state of Tennesse. Their clinical care is unmatched! They really helped me to bridge the gap between inpatient/residential care, and complete freedom giving me the time that I needed to really unpack my core issues. Tulip Hill is a family feel and I owe them my life. They treated me like a name as someone who matters from top to bottom the staff here invested in my success every step of the way. I’m now a year sober and my life has completely transformed into something unrecognizable from the version of me who started here. Thank you Tulip Hill!

As someone who has worked in the field of treatment for years, I can confidently say that Tulip Hill is a quality care provider. Not only is the treatment amazing, but they truly care for each and every person in their program. I have and will continue to work with Tulip Hill as a trusted partner, and can sleep well at night knowing they truly offer an amazing client experience.

Tulip Hills is the most amazing drug rehab in the Nashville area. Their level of care, expertise, attentiveness, true compassion and professionalism at every level is the reason my dear friend got sober and has stayed sober for a few years now. I can’t thank this facility enough and highly recommend them to anyone struggling and looking for a solution to any type of addiction.

I am so thankful that I was a client at Tennessee Valley Recovery! This was my first time going to treatment, and from the moment I arrived I felt welcomed and comfortable. I never imagined that I would have such a life changing experience in treatment. TVR isn’t a one size fits all program, it is truly catered to the needs of each individual person. We worked together to find the best treatment options not only for my addiction but for my mental health as a whole. I had also never been to therapy (you know, because I never thought I had a problem!) and the therapists here are absolutely amazing and really know what they are talking about. I was able to open up and discover new things about myself and my addiction. The classes we did were always engaging and I love that we got to do a variety of things like yoga, meditation, art, and music therapy. The techs played a major part in my recovery as well. They were there for me night and day no matter what it may be. I’m a bit of a night owl and some of the best conversations and learning experiences were late night chats with the techs. They taught me so much and played a major roll in the reason I love TVR so much. They are truly inspirational. The owners are amazing as well. I could tell that they take this very personally and care about helping every single person achieve not only sobriety but self worth and peace. If you are struggling with addiction please give TVR a call. The community here is so loving, accepting, and fun! I cannot thank every single person at TVR enough for being a part of saving my life!

TVR honestly was the best treatment center I’ve ever been to. Staff is so caring and loving. They genuinely care about your well-being. If I could give more than 5 starts I definitely would. I 100% recommended Tennessee valley recovery!

I am so grateful I had the opportunity to go to Tennessee Valley Recovery! For one of the first times in my life, I felt completely safe. I felt like I was a part of the TVR community, and still do after completing treatment. The owners are fantastic and truly make you feel like they care. I cannot say enough about the staff…they are attentive, compassionate, and go above-and-beyond. My experience at TVR is one I’ll never forget and I’ll forever be thankful for the owners and everyone there!

I am so excited to have Tennessee Valley Recovery as part of the treatment community here in Knoxville. The owners, as well as the staff are top of the line! I am fortunate enough to know them both professionally and though my own personal recovery process and wouldn’t hesitate to send a loved one, or a client here for substance use treatment services. If you are looking for an ethical, client-centered extended care treatment program, look no further—you will truly be satisfied with the work that is being done here!

Tennessee Valley Recovery is truly life changing! I cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work in my recovery. God knows where I would be without them and the rock solid support network I was able to build with my peers and at the meetings we attended multiple times a week. Aside from group and individual therapy, we did equine therapy and eco therapy once a week, yoga several times a week, and we went on a group outing like bowling or out to eat at a restaurant. All in all, I’m extremely grateful for my time spent at Tennessee Valley Recovery. The program is truly life changing, so please don’t hesitate to pick up your phone and make the call. You’ll be so glad you did.

So this is the next step in the process of recovery, after the A.A. boot camp in D.P. proper. I spent 60 days in LTR (Long Term Recovery) and I couldn’t have asked for a better transitional option. This is where I began to apply the skills and tools Discovery Place offered me to use in my activities of daily living, after inpatient treatment. The guides / leaders / management here are better than anything I could imagine, both as teachers and as peers, since they are all in recovery as well. The facilities are nice and modern. The grounds are groomed and maintained. There are ample amenities and entertainment options, when the time permits, even though our schedule is robust and fully planned, weekly. Long story short, this option helped my recovery unfold naturally and at a manageable pace. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for this program and my higher power.

This is the Long Term Recovery campus of Discovery Place. Graduates of the 30-day Discovery Place full residential program (in nearby Burns, Tennessee) can elect to continue their journey of recovery, putting their new “design for living” into practice in a larger world. At Long Term Recovery, guests increase their exposure to everyday situations in sobriety, but with an enhanced level of supervision and accountability as compared to living at home or in a halfway house.

This is a great place. It gave me a chance to get honest, enough time to dig deep, a great staff who have all been there, and last but not least great 12 step based experiential recovery

This place, and more importantly it’s people, saved my life. It’s complete and compassionate, 12 step recovery based program allowed me to be met where I was at instead of being talked down to. I can’t bring to mind enough positive words to adequately describe how grateful I am for Discovery Place and the community it has cultivated over the last 25 years. They broke the mold and continue to raise the bar. God Bless Discovery Place.

So very thankful for Discovery Place and the people who make it what it is. There aren’t enough words. This is the single best recommendation our family ever received. It’s proof positive that by putting in the work with the help of like minded people, miracles can happen.

I feel that I owe Discovery Place for giving my son back to me & saving his life. We had tried rehab several times before at another place but Discovery Place is a totally different experience & I will be eternally grateful for the difference it has made in his life.

I came to stay here they picked me up for the airport and took me to a local doctor for detoxification in Nashville. I was coming off heavy duty OxyContin and Oxycodone. I shared a room upstairs in the main house with like 4 others. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the food and outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful scenery. The one thing I did not like was that the place didn’t offer suboxone or anything like that. I was unable to really function I could not sleep and it was a horrific situation with withdrawals from start to the day I left. I managed to stay for nearly 30 days but I could not deal with the withdrawals. They offer spiritual support that doesn’t help the physically dependent person who has been on heavy duty opioids for years and years. It would have been great if they had offered suboxone. It was a failure for me in that I dipped out during a trip when we had a grip narcotic anonymous meeting in Downtown Nashville…I went straight to Vanderbilt Hospital and got a shot of morphine to fix my withdrawals and pain which was enhanced by the withdrawals. I’m now sober to say I went to a rehabilitation detox hospital in Oklahoma City called Oakwood Springs which was really nice and saved me. It was all paid for by my insurance and I’m still on suboxone to this day. If you can handle the fiercest withdrawals and pray Jesus will relieve you of the physical nightmare that you’ll go through this is the place. It’s also 10Grand. No insurance accepted. Everything else besides the detox with no substitute in place was top notch , excellent service and it was a great experience with the groups and workshops. A++++ on the food

I have a friend who went through this program and came out a completely different person. The changes we all saw in him were amazing. When I went to visit him the staff were all incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. You can tell that there are many lives worth of experience and recourses. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who has themselves or a loved one in need of treatment from any kind of addiction. You don’t have to go it alone. Let Solutions Retreat help you help yourself.

After my husband completed the 28day program, He has a glow to him that i haven’t been able to see for a long time, i am very much grateful to Dan and his team for what they do to help others. Solutions Retreat is the only place that I’ve ever completed a program with the understanding of the severity of my addiction, what I can do about it, and how to keep doing it. Dan brought me into his care when I was at my worst and he and his team gave me their best. The other treatment centers kept me clean while I was there. If you want to be clean you can go anywhere, if you want to STAY clean Solutions Retreat is the place for you. There is no better place to learn to about yourself, the One that can help you, and to be well equipped for whatever you have ahead of you. If you’re reading this, you owe it to yourself to live a better life. Come to SR and let Dan, Nick, Boyce, and the rest of the house love you until you love yourself. I’m an addict named Trevor and I’m beyond GRATEFUL for my experience at this treatment center.

I see light and hope in my brothers eyes again and I’m so grateful to Dan and his team.

My experience at Solutions Retreat was nothing short of life changing. The living quarters and facility was impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff were professional and supportive. The food was great too, which is not a common thread amongst other recovery centers. But, best of all was the personalized treatment and therapy I received as a client there. I have been granted a new attitude and lease on life due to the care and guidance I received at Solutions Retreat and will be forever thankful.
    Highly recommended!!!
