Hawc has completely transformed my life and without it, its hard to tell where I would be. On October 19, 2020 I walked into HAWC for the first time. The staff there is amazing. There is love, hope and strength there. HAWC saved my life. I completed Phase 1 and graduated from Phase 2. I recommend HAWC for anyone in need of recovery!!!

I’ve attended Harmony ridge 2 different times, both times were amazing. The staff is truly amazing from the nurses, techs, clinical staff, maintenance, housekeeping & cooks. During my time there I felt welcomed and at home & safe. I recommend Harmony ridge to anyone struggling with addiction. It really is an amazing place & when I left the first time I said if I’d ever relapse Harmony ridge was the only place I’d go to & they welcomed me back with open arms. It truly is the best residential rehab in west Virginia! I love this place & everyone there!

I had the absolute pleasure of going through Harmony Ridge Recovery Center. It’s hard to express what this place did for me. They helped give me my life back. When I entered Harmony Ridge I was barely existing and definitely barely alive. It wasn’t the building that did that it was the people within that building. Every single staff member and client loved me with their whole heart. The staff love their job and it showed in every single way. Harmony Ridge is a wonderful place to get clean and sober. The staff truly cares about the residents that come to there program. They work with everyone in groups and one on one. I would recommend any and everyone u needs to get sober to go there. The food is great the living is great and the staff know any and everything about recovery. So is you need to get your life on track and get sober Harmony Ridge is the place for you.

I would highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling with drug or alcohol addiction. The atmosphere is just so wonderful all of the staff truly care for every client there and will go above and beyond to make sure that you complete the program successfully. I have never been to a detox or 28 program that is so focused on making sure you have the right tools to be successful in recovery and make sure you have all you need set up before you leave there then Harmony Ridge. Along with the wonderful staff the food there is just amazing and chief and cooks are more then willing to accommodate you when you have any type of request. I know I’ll forever be grateful for my stay here and will carry it with me through out my journey in recovery.

I’ve truly never been to a rehab where the staff as a collective care so much about their clients. I just had my 45th birthday at Harmony Ridge and felt truly grateful to be sober and celebrating it with the group of people I was privileged to meet there. The bond you make there with other clients and staff is something I’m incapable of describing adequately-two words of description come to mind, miraculous and genuine. I am deeply grateful for Harmony Ridge and can say with all sincerity there is no other place like it. It has God’s blessing. Came with a hammered dulcimer group to play Christmas music for the patients. So glad we could be there. The patients and staff were very receptive. Several of the patients sang while we played. Made my Christmas season. Thank you for the opportunity to be there!! Happy holidays!!

UNDER STAFFED! DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE THERE!!! My father, a Marine Vet was treated poorly and died in that place, PLEASE WAKE UP!!! My father was not on his death bed before going there, but only lived less than 2 weeks.
Staff did not care! No socks, no shoes, lost clothing…too mucj to say….. HEARTBREAKING. FIGHT FOR YOUR LOVED ONES

I have worked with Guardian for over a year and have been very impressed with the company and how they run Fairmont Health Care and Rehab. It is a family based organization. The administrator is in her office as soon as you walk in the door and always willing to help patients and families. Staff is friendly and cares about their residents. We have a good crew of nurses and management that ensure the best care. The grounds are always well maintained with a variety of wildlife to enjoy. Families set together on the front porch every day and visit and talk just like home. We have made strides as an organization to ensure good quality care and plan to continue to get better.

The staff is very helpful with each other and the residents just adore and appreciate all we do. If you have to put your family in a Long Term Care Facility i will always 100% recommend this facility. The administrator, the Director of nursing and the Assistant Director of Nursing are always extremely professional and very prompt with their jobs and duties to keep not only their residents but staff safe at all times. The nurses listen to any and all concerns whether its a CNA concern or a family concerns, they act right away to investigate and solve all concerns. I will forever love this facility, staff and residents.

This facility is great. I really had no issues in my 65 day stay. The program is amazing for individuals wanting to get clean and maintain sobriety. I’ve been to several places and this is definitely one of the best. The clinical team as well as other staff are on point and diligent. I would like to give a shout out to Austin Alexander and the Clean and Clear establishment. As the peer supporter to one of my best friends, Austin worked hastily to get him in to Clean and Clear when he had his first relapse. After three months in the establishment, my friend could not have spoken higher of the place. It was more like staying in a “Recovery Resort”– The staff & counselors were great; the chefs and food were top notch (yes, I said chefs!); and the amenities were an added bonus (corn hole, pool tables, basketball hoops, a gym, even fresh coffee upon request!). Austin was kind, helpful, and likely saved my friend’s life. He is out now with a new family doctor, new medication that is helping him, and a fresh start. We can’t thank Austin and this establishment enough… Praise the Lord that these resources are available.

As a member of the community who drives by this iconic building every day, I am saddened by the condition of the grounds. Mowing and weeding and picking up trash certainly should be done to show respect for our beautiful downtown area. This is not a business that has been welcomed, so upkeep of the exterior is important.
