  After taking a boat tour in Murrell’s Inlet we were looking for some seafood. Several locals recommended Drunken Jack’s, so we stopped in for lunch. We sat along the window and had beautiful view of the inlet and goat island. Our server Ron was friendly, was knowledgeable, provided great recommendations and was fast and attentive.

  To start we had calamari, hush puppies and drinks (frozen mango and a voodoo juice). The appetizers were crispy and tasty and some of the best drinks we’ve had in Myrtle Beach.

  For our entrees we had Salmon, fried and blackened flounder, fried shrimp and clam cakes. Everything was excellent. Unfortunately we were too full to try their desserts.

  We went here after a round of golf and it was a great experience!!! Even when the place was super busy, the staff was very friendly and quick service, overall a great experience! The food was amazing! Super fresh seafood, the Oyster were on point and the sampler was an excellent choice. Everything we tried was on point with flavors and good portion size. I highly recommend it!!!

  Overall one of the best dining experiences we’ve had on our trip down here. The food was delicious, the server was excellent. He never let our drinks get below 3/4, he gave us very helpful suggestions and input for our meal, and was overall so kind. We will definitely return on our next trip.

  Wonderful views and excellent food. Hushpuppies with their butter is delicious! We got the special for tonight and catch of the day with the red pepper cream sauce. All of it is highly recommended. Definitely stop here.

  Amazing food and atmosphere. The steak Neptune was the best steak and seafood combo I’ve ever had. The hush puppies and honey butter were a great combo that I had never tried before. My wife had she crab soup and my son had New England clam chowder. They really enjoyed there soup.

  Went here during happy hour. Good food, good drinks, good prices. The service was also attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was fun. Lots of murals and fun things on the wall. Patrons all seemed to be tourists, but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. We had a really good time.
  We enjoyed the grilled shrimp, bang bang/ firecracker shrimp, fried oysters, and drinks. Was really a good time. We look forward to going there during our next visit to Myrtle Beach

  Fun atmosphere and lively crowd. We ate at the bar and our server was friendly and attentive. Had the raw oysters and they were very fresh and icy cold. We shared the large steamer pot and it was quite a bit of food! Crab legs were sweet and succulent, mussels were large and perfectly steamed. We were advised to get there early and we were lucky to find seats at the bar, so we were able to avoid a 30 minute wait for a table.

  Bimini’s came highly recommended by several people while visiting Myrtle Beach. It was definitely worth the trip. Everything was good. Drinks, oysters, steam shrimp, and the surf and turf with scallops. I would definitely return. It’s a nice hole in the wall that I would probably pass by if not suggested as the best oyster place in town. But, from the full house during our visit it’s a local favorite!

  What can I say, everything was great! Oysters, shrimp, ahi tuna, PO boys were outstanding, nothing we didn’t enjoy. That includes our server Chad who was great as well. Did I mention the happy hour prices on items and drinks? Also great, we will be back.

  Service was ?, you can tell the staff enjoy their work and are great at it. The oysters on the half shell were large, tasted good and were on the table in less than 3 minutes. The shrimp, crablegs, tacos and kids menu was also enjoyable. You have to try the hushpuppies!
  It fills up fast, so make sure you arrive early (4:30) for parking and outdoor seating, earlier for inside.

  TOURIST REVIEW: We absolutely loved this place!! It was a quick walk from our stay and it was incredible. I ordered the 1/2lb crawfish and a 1/2lb shrimp with Cajun seasoning for a $3 additional charge (So worth it!!!) I ate everything and wish I had more. There’s limited seating indoors and outdoors so it’s more take what you can get. Altogether was an amazing experience and meal!

  It is within walking distance from our hotel. The staff is nice and friendly. Great atmosphere. We had the shrimp tacos and they were really good. Hushpuppies are really good. The lobster mac and cheese wasn’t that great. I would still go back for some tacos.

  Recommend! Quaint seafood eatery & bar 3 blocks from the beach. Both inside and outside seating with a large main bar inside. The inside is small with approx 12 tables, outside has 8 bench & umbrella style seating. It was raining when we went around 5pm and there was a half hour wait as we could not utilize the outside. 4-6 pm is “happy hour” 1/2 price on peel shrimp, oysters or crawfish which seemed to be their Their busiest. The menu has large selection for seafood lovers, very little of anything else. Our party of 3 (2 adults, 1 toddler) ordered 2 peel and eat shrimp appetizers. Entrees included ribeye steak, and the lobster roll. Both entrees were delicious yet extremely overpriced for market price/meal quality. Our total bill including the half price appetizers came to $95. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself was very well decorated and aesthetically pleasing . Over all review is 4 stars based on the cost of the meals vs. quality of what we received. I have posted pictures of our experience for reference

  After tasting one of the oysters, I realized I was at the wrong place. It tasted horrible and it shouldn’t be served as raw oysters with that quality. All other food too salty (I guess it supposed to be as a bar food, so people drink more alcohol), fried food was soggy. Everything was way overpriced. I get it!! I was at the tourist spot. We returned the oysters almost untouched, they didn’t even bother asking why we weren’t eating their terrible oysters. Sever was very nice, I couldn’t leave no tip for their terrible food. It was a painful spend during my trip

  This place was recommended by a friend as the place to have a seafood dinner and sunset views. She was not wrong, although the prices were definitely reflective of the reputation. Although there are a couple of not fried options, the fried seafood abounds, as well as raw oysters (which we did not try so I cannot review). The fried shrimp were good but I didn’t think they were outstanding. The fried flounder was lightly breaded and flaky. The fried oysters were probably the standout. The French fries could have used more seasoning, and I wished for some vegetable sides as options, even if they were fried as well!! Overall a nice dinner, and I’m glad I went.

  Have been trying to get here for a while now and finally made it. Was NOT disappointed. We only got raw oysters, hush puppies, and beers, but wow. The oysters were absolutely amazing, and they had a decent selection of craft beers. It was a bit pricey, but that’s the world we live in now and, and the oysters were worth it. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful.

  I have lived here a long time and never gone out here. It Is a wonderful place for photos. We catered a meal in the space seen here on the dock. The restaurant remained open for everyone else. It’s a long drive down a rough road. Parking is in the dirt (or mud depending on rain). Accessibility was a problem for some of out older guests. The shrimp and grits were pretty good. The private spaces and the views were just amazing..

  We enjoyed our meal at Bowens Island Restaurant for the last meal of our visit to Charleston. With so many upscale dining options in town, we were thankful to have a casual meal on the waterfront, oddly rare to find in town.

  The food was good, but let’s be honest you’re going for the atmosphere and sunset. Food came out fairly quickly and was decent. The fries were a little cold and everything cost a little more than it needed to be, but the tourist tax was in full effect and once the sun sets you get your moneys worth.

  Local “hole in the wall” on the water with outdoor seating and great view. Place your order at the counter and seat your self. Waited in line for about 20 minutes. Food delivered to table within 15 minutes. Fried fish and shrimp were hot and good. Hush puppies overcooked, French fries were standard fair. Good price for seafood, full bar, lots of beer choices, casual setting.
