  This place is awesome! We showed up at 530. There was a 45 min wait. Which gave us time to enjoy a few drinks and take in the setting sun. So beautiful! Once inside we were seated with a nice view of the beach and evening sky. We had the mojo shrimp appetizers, grouper with crab and steak and shrimp kabobs. Everything was perfectly prepared. Our server was prompt and kept our drinks flowing. This a must go place if you are in the panhandle of FL!!

  Fast, friendly, speedy service. Came during Happy Hour and took advantage of drink and appetizer specials. The “pork” nachos were easily the best pick among the three we sampled (nachos, fried mozzarella sticks, and fried calamari). I put pork in quotes because I could have sworn we were eating beef instead. Didn’t taste like pork at all. Regardless, they were tasty and the portion was hearty.

  My wife took advantage of the $6 margaritas. She thought they were strong and after 2, had a little buzz going. I had a couple of the $3 drafts.

  Would we go back? Yeah, for those “pork” nachos if nothing else. If outside of Happy Hour though, I’d be hard-pressed to pay the going rates for the entrées.

  The food, the drinks, the service, and the atmosphere makes this place a must go back on my list. Despite the longest wait time given.
  But ? The sea scallops are great, as well as the crab cakes and grouper and lobster dinner, the twice baked potatos were very good. I can’t wait to go back.
  Cons: 2hr wait time on a Thursday Night, but it was worth it; The restrooms are so cute but could be dried up occasionally specially at night the floor was very wet.

  What a location. Right on the edge of the beach, amazing views of the gulf. Plenty of seafood options.

  I met a friend and his family so I was lucky and didn’t have to wait. Set right down and was greeted by the waiter who took my drink order.

  We started with the tuna dip served with pita bread. Highly recommend. Great flavor. I could have eaten this in a meal. Fantastic! I actually went for the chicken fettuccine on this visit and wasn’t disappointed.

  Best fried coconut shrimp I’ve eaten anywhere. Great fried calamari that was tender and not overdone. My wife was impressed with their sea scallops. While the crab cakes are full of meat, they weren’t seasoned right and were very bland. Couldn’t recommend the crab cakes but excellent restaurant otherwise.

  Food was Awesome. The restaurant is great. Love the decor of the fish tanks… I have to give a HUGE shoutout to our waiter, Chris… he was awesome. We never wanted or needed for anything and his energy and vibe was beyond hospitable. Very kind young man who did a great job. Everything we had was delicious… I’ve seen other reviews about prices but I thought it was reasonable for the food. I had this saved in my wanted to go list for vacation and we made it on our final night. So glad!

  Wow what a find! This place is huge with plenty of seating and wonderful decor. Danielle was a awesome server! They start out with hush puppies sprinkled with powdered sugar. The crab and shrimp dip was delicious and not lacking size. Entrees we’re also delicious. You finish your meal with a tasty taste of sorbet! A must stop when hungry!

  This establishment is so good. They give the customer a large amount of food at a reasonable price. The oysters were fantastic and the prime rib was so delicious. We had that Blackened. These guys give you a brown sugar dip to go with your sweet potato fries that is so good. They also give you melted butter that rests on a candle to keep it flowing. To finish off they bring you a lemon sorbet to cleanse the palate. Highly recommend this resturant.

  Unpretentious local restaurant famous for their wide selection of fresh seafood dishes at reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed the service, atmosphere and food. Fish tacos were perfectly prepared! We were lucky to get seated mid-afternoon as the place was almost full and had a long line waiting by the time we left.

  Parking seemed limited, and spacing was very tight. Otherwise the restaurant was clean and our server, Helen, was excellent. She was personable and helpful with just the right amount of attentiveness.
  We were served cornbread fritters with powdered sugar when we were seated. They were soft and warm. Our food was delivered warm and fresh within about 20 minutes after ordering. It was nicely presented, warm, and tasty. Portion sizes were generous. After the meal, we were served Lemon Sorbet in a tiny paper cup. The perfect compliment to a delicious dinner.
  Everyone enjoyed their food with no complaints – Sweet Tender Whites, Garlic Bread, Yellow Fin Ahi Tuna, Shrimp & Grits, Steak Tips, Clam Chowder, and Carnaval Combo.
  I don’t live nearby, but I am absolutely coming back to this restaurant for the tasty food and good service.

  We went to dinner here last night and the service was AMAZING. I wish I could remember our waitress’s name (I think Raquel?) but either way she was incredible. Not only was she attentive, but she had great food recommendations! I got the seafood au gratin as my meal and it was the perfect size. Their patio is honestly one of my favorites – the views are amazing and they had a live steel drum player who was playing at the perfect volume (not too loud, can still talk etc). Definitely recommend as a place for dinner – worth the wait!

  My family came here because me and my sister had never tried oysters. We absolutely loved everything about this place! To start, we were told we’d have only a ten minute wait and we were able to go to the bar (which provided virgin drinks) the ten minutes went by quickly. When we got in we were seated outside (I would recommend asking for outside seating.) there was live music, there were dolphins in the water, storks fishing, and we got to see the sunset. It was all so beautiful! I would recommend to anyone.

  Awesome service. Very friendly staff. The food is out of sight good. My wife had the Captain’s seafood platter and I had the early bird sirloin steak. The platter is so big. My steak was cooked to perfection. Our server Tamra was great. Well worth a stop. We will be back for more.

  Walking it was a little off putting as there was not a hostess in sight. I walked to the bar and asked for an outside table. The patio offers views of the port.
  I ordered the shrimp basked which was delivered hot in a reasonable amount of time. The shrimp had a light breading which allows for the flavor of the shrimp to come through. The fries also had a breading/ coating to them which is not my preference but they were good.
  Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be be back when in the area.

  Food is always delicious! Besides oysters I like their calamari, tacos of any kind and Captain platter.
  River view with cruise ships passing by is 10/10 . Also they have life music at night.
  If you looking some local atmosphere with delicious food-this is the place.

  This seafood place was AMAZING!! We came to Orlando for vacation and was in the mood for some seafood. There is so many options to pick from on the menu!! And our server was so nice. This felt like a “locals” place which was even better. They have deals Monday – Friday and Monday was 20% off entrees which was a nice surprise, I had no idea!!! The frog legs were amazing and everything was served HOT and FRESH. The homemade cinnamon butter and hush puppies was phenomenal and a complimentary dish with entrees. They even have fried frog legs, and those were awesome. Definitely a perfect seafood place to stop and eat at.

  This is not your typical seafood restaurant. Don’t expect to see customers in suits and dresses, it’s way more casual. The food is cooked more Cajun style, at least the food we ordered. We had everything from fried coconut shrimp, gator bites, oysters, crawfish, and lobster. All of it was really good. The service was amazing as well.

  The drinks in a fish bowl is also a unique feature for this establishment. If you want to try some good southern style seafood, check this place out!

  Casual place that’s close to the airport and very popular with locals and tourists alike! Family run and they take pride in it! Good beer and adult beverage menu. Large dining room and bar. Good for families, too! Amazingly expansive seafood menu and friendly service! Highly recommended!

  Went to this place after working next door at the car wash. We had a party of 6 and the service was exceptional. We were served by Melinda and she went above and beyond.

  Oysters – fresh and super tasty

  2 for $25 – generous portions and everything was amazing.

  Hush puppies – great little appetizer with the honey butter.

  The blackened mahi was so good

  Decent fried seafood and other fried apps and a very casual restaurant/bar like atmosphere. Great happy hour prices on gulf oysters. Service was fantastic. Food isn’t anything to write home about but perfectly fine for what it is. Lots of specials each day and for happy hours also. A few domestic beers and large “craft” on draft, otherwise some mediocre craft beer in packaged. They also have wine and basic cocktails.

  Excellent seafood restaurant. Delicious daily specials. I had not enjoyed king crab legs in years and their king crab dinner was incredible. The crab was prepared perfectly.   Such a treat of goodness! Start with the excellent drink choices that are oh so tasty. Next follow it up with the ever expansive menu of appetizers. We had the joy of having the seafood boat and we were delighted with the taste and amount. A bit on the pricey side but great experience. The service was on top of there game. A table next to us had an issue with their order and the wait staff along with management did a great job controlling the situation and making it right. I will definitely visit again.

  Ok, we adore Walt’s, but man, this place….? The baskets that went by made us envious. The Florida Cobb was amazing, and the whole blacked snapper was perfectly cooked. Calamari fresh and sweet. We are sad it’s close to the end of our visit. We will be back. Thank you!
