This is one of those spots you enter and really don’t know what to expect and it turns out to be a really good experience!!! The decor has a tiki bar vibe, the staff is really friendly and helpful! The drinks are made with pride and are really tasty!!! The food here is delicious! I would recommend the happy hour oyster options, some of the freshest and best I’ve had!!! The location is within a really friendly area, filled with rich history and friendly people, as the locals frequent this spot. If this was my local bar, I’d be a frequent flyer!!! Tiki enthusiasts, try this spot. If you find yourself in the immediate vicinity and desire good people, good drink and good food, you should seriously consider paying this spot a visit!!!By Armand (3 months ago)Best bar service and ramen around! Can’t go wrong with the drinks and the gyoza dumplings were so fantastic that I forgot to snap a photo. 😅 What I love most about this place is the variety of foods, so I feel like I can go time and time again and never be bored. Beautiful decor, as well. The staff seem like they enjoy their work and are extremely passionate about quality and providing a wonderful experience. Been several times and can’t wait to go a dozen more!By Annabella Habegger (10 months ago)Let me first point out all the positive things I loved about this place. The drinks were fantastic and for that I will definitely go back! The place had a super cute decor and lighting. Also they serve oysters and they really know their oysters! Great plus!
The main reason for my 3-star review is the unreasonable (they were not packed and they seemed to have many staff) slow service! It took solid 5 minutes for someone to greet us and just pay attention that we are waiting to be seated/put our name for a table/anything!
Then we had to wait soooo long for an order of small hotdog and loaded fries. Let’s not talk about the wait for the drinks.
The other reason for 3stars is that food prices were a bit too high for a street style food in very small portions.By Mahsa Servati (8 months ago)I have pretty much exhausted the ramen places within a reasonable distance of indy and i had a #1 for a long time and i must say as picky as i am with it this place became my fave ramen place after one visit!! Ive been many times since then and it is always a great experiance wether its just me or im with friends. All the ingredients hit their marks with flavor and freshness.and that isnt just for the ramen either! Service is great and i love the atmosphere! Love to see the place still expanding menu and staff. They are quite active on social media and you can see they really try to accomodate their customers needs and are still building. This past visit i got newest menu item the tantan mazesoba and a tonkotsu ramen in case i didnt enjoy the new item. And boyy was i wrong to doubt, it was incredible i loved everything about it so much that mid way i poured some of the tonkotsu ramen into the tan tan. A MAZE ING. 1000% recommend this place and dont sleep on their new neighboors landlocked baking. Their flavors amd menu have also been deliciousBy keshawn robinson (4 months ago)Can I give 10 stars? This place is an absolute GEM!! The BEST tonkotsu Ramen in Indianapolis, by leaps and bounds. That’s not all that’s amazing here, the gyoza is perfect and the sauce is even better, and somehow the same goes for the shrimp cocktail! The oysters are always super fresh, the desserts are phenomenal, and the Ramen… they’ve got soup-less chilled, soup-less spicy, a white truffle shoyo🔥, and yuzu shio, which are all the best in town. Not to mention its a tiki bar with a great rum selection and wonderful drinks, from staple daiquiris, to house renditions of classics! If you haven’t been here, I promise, you need to!By a.j. allinger (2 months ago)

From our welcome at the door upon entry to the thank you on our way out the door, plus everything in between was way wonderful! Service was on spot. Food was beautiful and delicious. The Berries and Bubbles cocktail was one of the best balanced cocktails I believe I have had as far as restaurant specialty drinks. It was not too dry, not too sweet, not too strong and not too weak. Perfection! The Surf and Turf appetizer, Braised Short Ribs and scallops were delightfully flavorful and I highly recommend. My husband got the sea bass and I got lobster tails, plus we both shared the jalapeno augratin potatoes. The potatoes do have a little zing but not overbearing. Both were decent portions and simply delicious. We opted out of desserts; not because they didn’t look and sound decedent, but just because we try to skip the extra sugar. I am sure we will return soon as we really enjoyed everything about our evening out at Ocean Prime!By Kellie Watkins (11 months ago)The taste was fresh however. If the portions could match the prices it would be complete. We came as a group so our server “David” seem not to care as much since he was getting mandatory gratuity. I felt we got the minimum service required and that made eating a 8 once steak for $60 not taste so good then a mandatory $20 tip (per ticket). I would not recommend it unless you want to feel big throwing away money. I was very very unimpressed. $180 per couple on average so you can enjoy better NOT as a group. Truth is I was hungry for more food but $17 for 3 small shrimp. lol get realistic people!!By James (5 months ago)I came here for my birthday and everything was GREAT! Christian was kind and attentive, the customer service was excellent. The food was AMAZING, so was the atmosphere. I was a little sad my takeout was accidentally thrown out, otherwise an overall great experience.By S T E P H (2 weeks ago)This place is exceptional every time I have been. The service is always fabulous and the food is wonderful. This particular trip we had the calamari appetizer, goat cheese ravioli, Wagyu filet, smoking seafood tower, and warm butter cake for dessert. Also, the Moscow mule and berries and bubbly drinks are amazing.By Mercedes Reyes (3 months ago)It was a great meal! Everything was fantastic! My tuna was delicious! Our server was on top of our party of 9 and everything was correct and came out in a timely manner. Desserts were so good, but I was extremely full and could only eat half of my peanut butter pie!By Katherine Mason (a year ago)

We have been dining at the OB for over 15 years. It is our date night spot of first choice. We have never had a lunch of dinner that was less than delicious. They know how to prepare all types of fish, shrimp, mussels, scallops and of course, oysters. But my all time fave is their New England Clam Chowder. I order a cup at every meal and have tried dozens of chowders from established, reputable restaurants along the coast of Maine, Massachusetts, Boston, Providence and nothing touches theirs. Call
off the search- the NE chowder you want is (surprisingly) in Fort Wayne at the Oyster Bar on Calhoun.By Erika Stuller (4 months ago)Went here on for our 28th Wedding Anniversary on a Saturday evening. It wad very busy. Serive was outstanding. Julie was a server & ahead was so good. We got the Louisianna shrip for Appitizer…. so good!. Got the swordfish for dinner. One of the best prices of fish I have had. Desserts were really good, also! Would highly recommend & will be going back!By Scott Vorpahl (2 months ago)Came here for my significant other’s birthday and didn’t expect them to be super busy on a Tuesday night. Food was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the clam chowder and the seafood au gratin. I couldn’t decided between shark and their walleye so the waiter split both for a $2 upcharge. Shark was delicious, never seen it on a menu before. Only took off a star because the menu prices were different online. We waited 5 minutes or so for the menus so we pulled them up online. My martini was listed online for $11, was $14. My dinner $28.95 online and $31.95 in reality. Other then that, food was amazing and our waiter was super friendly.By Kyle Zofinski (a year ago)The food was absolutely amazing. Best crab cakes and clam chowder I’ve had. They have several options on how you can have your fish prepared, if that’s what you’re ordering. The creamsickle martini was delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable and our servers were friendly and attentive. Great dining experience!By Rachel Buell (a month ago)The Oyster Bar is AWESOME! Stepping in here made me feel like I went through a door and ended up in Boston. If you have been to Boston, you will know exactly what I mean. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The food and ambiance are both a 5 star!By Nellie Graham (a month ago)

First time visiting Zionsville/visiting my sister to celebrate her birthday and we were so happy. We went to our table and there was a “happy birthday” sign waiting for her. Our waitress, Jessica Cooper, made the experience absolutely fantastic. Very warm and polite, she made excellent recommendations for food and drink – her recommendation of the key lime pie pudding on Oreo crust did not disappoint. She gave us desserts to celebrate my sisters birthday which she did not have to do – so kind! The atmosphere was hip, good lighting, and decent noise level where it’s lively but you can still enjoy conversation with your own table. We were really happy with the experience and will definitely come back again!By amanda pipich (9 months ago)Top notch dinner location with friendly service, nice atmosphere, and high quality food. My wife had all you can eat crab legs and I got the seafood risotto with scallops, blue crab, and added blackened shrimp. Crab legs were cooked perfectly. The risotto was just barely undercooked but the flavor more than made up for it and definitely wasn’t worth a complaint. I grabbed the bourbon glazed bread pudding for dessert which was amazing!
Although every detail wasn’t perfect, the service and experience was so good it really doesn’t matter. Some constructive criticism, but otherwise keep up the great work. It’s been awhile since we last visited and we wish we had visited sooner.
It’s hard to describe a place with an atmosphere that just fits so perfectly into a quaint cobblestone main street.
By Scott Hepburn (10 months ago)Very obviously a popular, well liked establishment. Staff were attentive and very pleasant. The vibe is upscale coastal casual and comfortable. The lobster bisque was almost good enough to have as a second bowlful for dessert. The blackened Florida grouper plate was flavorful and mostly well prepared but just a bit overcooked, the side of sweet corn risotto was very nice and the there’s never enough grilled asparagus when it is prepared as well as this was.By Daniel Page (10 months ago)We had to get am early reservation, so we ate dinner at 4, which is fine cause we are old lol! We were seated right away, drink orders were taken, and got our appetizers quickly also. Our waitress was good but the reason for 4 stars, our food took a long time to get out to us. Other tables that ordered afterwards were getting their food ( we ordered a fish and chips, and a shrimp poboy). Appetizers were amazing! Entrees were good just not amazing. We will for sure be back though!By Brent Koenig (8 months ago)Went here for a nice dinner with my wife. The place is nice and the decor give it a seafood feel.We ask the waiter which sushi roll was the best seller to get an idea of what to try and he read off about half the menu. Seems like he just was going until he thought he said something we would want. We got the fire dragon roll. The server lit the plate around it on fire but he held it in his hand and didn’t set it on the table for any pictures. It was pretty disappointing. The cream cheese overpowered it and the inside was mushy, not a good consistency at all.
For the main course we got crab cakes and the seafood pasta. The pasta was a little overcooked, not al dente but they did give a lot of seafood in it. Crab cakes were pretty good.
Best part of the meal was dessert. We had creme brulee and it was delicious.
Overall everything was okay at best. The server didn’t top off our beverages very quickly and didn’t seem to know the menu that well. The main courses were okay, the sushi was bad, the dessert was really good.
For a $100 meal I would expect better.

The most consistently fabulous meals I’ve had in Indy post-pandemic. The oysters are always fresh and ice cold. I’ve yet to get one with shell in it, they’re always shucked cleanly. The service is great. The other menu items like lobster roll and poke are always spot on. I love this place!By Stacy Hoehle (2 months ago)Great bartender and a nice diverse beer selection. I didn’t have food but I appreciate the concept of their “beat the clock” happy hour. Honestly some of the best bar service I’ve had in a long time.By corbin byers (3 weeks ago)My sister and I went here for brunch and we both really enjoyed it. As most already know by now, the aesthetic is super cute and Instagramworthy, but that’s not all it has to offer. The food is actually really great! Both of our dishes were full of flavor and probably enough for two to share. The champagne flight was yummy and the oysters were fresh. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful as was the hostess that greeted me upon arrival. I definitely recommend if you enjoy seafood. I think this is a great addition to the Indy food scene.By A F (10 months ago)This seafood is legit! The deviled eggs are to die for and highly recommended getting fried grouper with your fish n chips! The Expresso Self drink was so good! Can’t wait to go back!By Beck (a month ago)My mom and I came in for my birthday dinner tonight. This is one of my favorite restaurants as is, the lobster rolls have me in an absolute chokehold. I haven’t been since this spring, so this was looooong overdue.
As usual, I got the lobster roll (this thing will give me my biannual dose of serotonin) and some oysters to start. The lavender 75 was a great cocktail, and the crème brûlée french toast bread pudding was a mouthful, both in the sense of the lengthy name and how aggressively I was eating it. Our server, William (is he an aries or a taurus 🤔) not only shares a name with my brother but provided excellent service and matched our sense of humor.
I have always had wonderful experiences at Raw Bar, and I’m so glad the streak continues. It’s worth every mile we had to endure both on 65 and downtown, and each year that was taken off my life by the rich buttery goodness of the lobster roll.
All hail the lobster🦞 king 👑 at Raw Bar by Slapfish.
