Pure Love. Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved it! Food was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Eventually, I will need to try everything on the menu. Atmosphere is phenomenal as well. Our waiter was Noah and he did an amazing job serving our table of six! Cheesecake just melts in your mouth along with the other desserts as well. This place deserves 10 stars.By Nisha (4 months ago)Everything about this place was great from the atmosphere to the service. I had reservations and they did a great job accommodating any special requests due to allergies and seating. We never had to ask for anything because they were on top on everything. Our waiter William was friendly, personable, professional and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine. He even made sure that he knew the person with the allergy and asked them some additional questions. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon.By Ilena Cheatom (8 months ago)I had never been to Loe’s before and took my wife there for a date night dinner. What can I say….The staff is super friendly and super knowledgeable about their menu items and the specials. Great atmosphere and impeccable seafood that was pretty much cooked to perfection. The whole team from the hostess to the front end manager seemed to be a well oiled machine. There was always food coming out, dishes being removed and drinks being refilled without a hitch..I would highly recommend checking out Lie’s, and my wife and I will definitely be back.By Walter Weldon (2 months ago)My husband and I went here for our anniversary, and the experience was great. Our server William was super kind and knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations on what’s popular there. The food was very good and they gave us the dessert for our anniversary, along with a sweet “Happy Anniversary” card for our table. The volume level was perfect.By Alexis Dillon (4 months ago)I love this place. A high end seafood restaurant with very reasonable prices. We were a party of 5 and enjoyed professional and efficient service. Our server was very kind and patient. Reservations recommended. Everything was delicious from the appetizers, main course to the dessert. Each menu selection is mouth watering and I can’t wait to go back.By Pepsi Brown (7 months ago)

We came on Wed for the burger and glass of wine special. The burger was amazing. I highly recommend you add bacon. I got mine cooked medium rare so if you like yours less pink go with medium. The crab cake was ok. I don’t think it is necessary for the burger but we wanted to try it. The views are amazing and if you can catch the sunset your won’t be disappointed. You can take your drink out to enjoy the view. The burger special is inside at the bar only. They also have really great meals for 2 that looks very good as well.By Bridget Cabrera (6 months ago)One of our favorite stops on our annual visit to Traverse City. If you enjoy mushrooms/bisque, highly recommend the morel mushroom bisque. Today we also ordered the oysters roq and scallops a top lobster cakes. Everything was delicious. The ambiance and view are an added bonus.By Elizabeth Peatee (4 months ago)We had our rehearsal dinner at the Boathouse on the deck a couple of weeks ago and everything was phenomenal. The deck was decorated beautifully and with the sunset over the lake and snowy weather, we couldn’t have asked for more. From the outstanding service by Will and Tim to the amazing food, there was nothing but praise from everyone who attended. We were told by many people that it was the best food and best rehearsal dinner that they had ever attended. Every filet was perfectly cooked and we had many “best evers” on the salmon. There was not a single thing that I would change from this perfect dining experience!By Sarah Carney (11 months ago)Lucked into a patio table for an early dinner. Typically reservations are always recommended here. Best food on the peninsula. Best oysters in the area. Everything was top notch. And that view! Great server and service. Good wine selection. Will return.By David Rapp (4 months ago)Worth every penny and then some! Came here to celebrate my mom‘s birthday while on vacation in Michigan and it ticked every box. Beautiful scenery, wonderful service, wonderful food, great ambience, and great location. The drive from Traverse City was about 20 minutes and very nice as we passed by the vineyards and cherry trees. At the restaurant the host was very kind and the waiter was patient and knowledgeable as we inquired about the menu. They even gave a small card and box of chocolates when I mentioned it was my mom‘s birthday. We ordered oysters Rockefeller, oysters Dupont, the morel mushroom soup, scallops, and cauliflower steak. Everything was absolutely delicious and we highly recommend the Dupont oysters and scallop entrée. Will definitely come back when we return to Traverse City in the future!By Lily Ho (5 months ago)

This small quaint seafood restaurant was a delight. It’s in They offer different tastings of unique seafood combinations. Your plate comes to you beautifully created which made me want to try everything. If you want your palate to be pleasantly surprised give them a try. This was my first time trying some of the foods within my courses, like squid. The service was great. The waitress was knowledgeable and atmosphere perfect for a group or couple to enjoy their experience. Parking was readily available which was great being it’s winter here in Detroit. Would definitely go back for new surprise Bc they change their menu every 3 weeks. They do add a 20% gratuity no matter the party size but that’s stated on their site so it was no surprise. They earn it…By Sherri Smith (9 months ago)Mink was hands down one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have had in Detroit. It was cozy, modern and exceptional. The kind of place where everyone in the restaurant is in on the fun. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. The couple two tables over was celebrating theirs too. Another — their birthday. And another still, just alone and enjoying the ambience. Everyone was smiling and enjoying such a fantastic spread of oysters, chef’s picks, sake’s, cocktails and more. Plus — at the end of the night, the staff gifted us with a free dessert for our special day. Reminded us of a night in San Fran or NYC. Only maybe a bit better.By Jon Robinson (5 months ago)Easily one of Detroit’s best restaurants. Small footprint, with an incredible rotating pre-fixe menu. Beautifully designed interior with a down-to-earth crew who welcomes you the moment you enter.
I used to live on the East Coast and Mink’s seafood-centric menu easily competes with anything I had while living out there. Plus, they have hands down one of the best curated oyster menus I have come across. Great selection of east and west coast oysters that changes from week to week and tinned fish.
I’m pretty confident that anyone leaving less than a five star review for Mink means the reviewer either doesn’t like seafood or doesn’t know what they are talking about.
By Chris (5 months ago)Love mink! Intimate interior dining (bar seats are great, esp if you enjoy seeing the kitchen in action) as well as a few patio tables to enjoy the summer weather. Amazing oysters and unique twists on some classic seafood dishes. Love the sake offerings as well. Latest visit was for a nice happy hour outside!By Matthew Beals (5 months ago)Mink consistently has top notch food and service. Made reservations for NYE dinner and it was a perfect way to celebrate, every single course was a hit. My favorite thing about mink though is the service. They are insanely attentive, there’s never an empty dish or glass lingering and they’ll never rush your next course out until you’re finished with the first. You can tell the kitchen is a very well oiled machine.I’ll definitely put this in the rotation more often this year. Maybe I can’t splurge on caviar and beverage pairings every time but I appreciate that they have some more affordable options.

If you enjoy seafood, salads and other cuisine, I can highly recommend Kabin Kruiser’s Oyster Bar on Main Street in downtown Rochester, Michigan.
My wife and I enjoy visiting this establishment on Friday or Saturday around 3:00pm, which is a time we can find a place to sit at the bar and order food and beverage. I LOVE the steamer pot and my wife enjoys the rainbow beet salad with a grilled chicken breast.
The staff are friendly and accommodating and we enjoy the dining experience followed by a walk along Main Street where we can find a wide variety of stores to window shop or find items we need to purchase locally.
I think you may enjoy this venue as well. Give them a try if you are hungry and/or would like to sample a beverage or two.
By Karl R.O.S. Johnson, DC, BCN (a month ago)It was ok. Small warm bar atmosphere. A little too cluttered for my taste. The seafood chowder is better at the Kruse and Muer restaurants. The bread was also different from the restaurant. I ordered the shrimp and mussel boil. It had no flavor. I won’t be back. The garlic cheese toast was good. The bar tenders were friendly and my pear martini was delicious.By Jewels Jewelz (8 months ago)We really enjoyed our visit. Our server Ian took great care of us and everything was wonderful. We for the oysters, swordfish, tacos, and lobster bisque.By james “jim” h. (6 months ago)been coming here for years and always has been great, last visit not so much. Clam chowder was very good, but my fish tacos were very disappointing and the snapper my wife ordered was ok, nothing special. They did take tacos of bill so I appreciated that, but not the meal I’ve come to expect here. I’m finding this more and more since pandemic, eating out not as enjoyable as it used to be.By Dean MacKensie (4 months ago)Service from waiter Randy was great. Went for Happy Hour with food and wine serving so small you almost needed double of everything to bring it close to pre Covid. Order the fish tacos (previously my favorite) so small I kept looking for the grouper, ordered 3 glasses of wine to end up equaling 1 glass at full price. Probably will not returnBy Jeanette Rahaim (3 months ago)

The atmosphere here is great! They have a very wide array of drinks and the ones we had were very good. The food was delicious and they had something for everyone including vegan and gluten free. The dessert was delicious and fun. I definitely recommend this place!By A “The Administrator” H (9 months ago)Great food. Friendly and fun staff. Fantastic drinks. Very entertaining decor. A bit pricey. Look forward to bringing my friends here soon. I can’t wait to try out one of the semi- private lounges.By John Finck (10 months ago)I came here with my wife and we didn’t know we needed reservation and even tho it was a Saturday night the host at the door managed to get us in after a brief wait. It was pouring outside and he was kind enough to find us some shade lol. We had to sit at the bar but still it was a beautiful atmosphere. Staff was great and although it was packed our food came real quick and it was delicious. You gotta have the lump crab Rangoon oh boy I could eat that alone. Our bar tender was exceptional. I forgot her name but she had short hair and she was so fun to chat with and she always had our drinks on point. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in Grand Rapids. We loved it.By Nef M. (8 months ago)We celebrated Rick’s Birthday 🥳 Super cool decor😎Don’t get the seats by the door because it’s really chilly🥶Food was delicious🤤$18 for 3 small jackfruit tacos, guacamole, slaw and rice. Small portion of flash fried cauliflower with avocado smear for $9. Drinks were yum🍹🥃Don’t go here if you’re looking for bargain eats! You’re paying for the experience! Derick was our server and he was very attentive, friendly and really took care of us💝🥳🍹‼️By Rick and Brenda Becker (10 months ago)We were excited to have dinner and drinks at Max’s because we have heard great things! The atmosphere very comfortable and mellow, which I loved. It is very well decorated and thought out, which adds to the mood. The people that own this place really put the time into it to make it unique. The drinks are creative and complex for sure and the staff has a good understanding of the drink and food menu. Well done! The food, although good, it wasn’t amazing. Maybe I am too picky, or my tastebuds has an “off night”. That being said, we will absolutely go back! Overall, Great Job!By Ronald Pease (7 months ago)
