Went for dinner. Sat at the bar. Good atmosphere. The drinks were very good and have a nice selection. The two bartenders were were on point and the service was excellent. The food was delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection just as I ordered it. Only downside/ negative is the prices are pretty high which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I would recommend this to everyone and most likely be back the next time I’m in the areaBy john sgrulletta (2 months ago)Delicious fresh food. Pricey but as a treat it’s amazing. Odd that they put the convenience fee on the bill even though it was 2 of us. But the service was sublime. Steak was absolutely perfect. Crab Mac and Cheese was creamy and succulent. Worst part was trying to find a place to park downtown on a Friday night but after a few fruitless jaunts around the block we decided to just valet.By Hassan Samad (3 months ago)Came here on Mother’s Day and had really high expectations based on high rating and word of mouth. Food and service was great, but not that great for a $$$$ price point, 5 star, fine dining which is why I give 4 stars. The ambiance and vibe is great, bright but not too bright. Kinda nice amount of noise. Classy. Food was great but not all of it. My potatoes tasted old and were kinda hard. My crab cakes were decent but I’ve had better. My dads steak was slightly over cooked. I expected asparagus to have that vibrant dark green and they looked … dead and not fresh. Mom loved her chicken and we enjoyed the lobster claw appetizer. Just kinda disappointed overall. Also, lots of stairs to the bathroom and no changing table in the bathrooms was another downfall. I may try again but kinda don’t want to spend that money for another below par experience.By Jada Henderson (7 months ago)From the drinks to the food it was delicious. The oyster sampler had 4 different varieties of oysters. All very tasty! The biggest lobster tale I’ve ever had …it was sweet and tender. The steak was good and made to a perfect medium rare. They do include the 20% service charge on the bill. As a new person to the area the parking gets a bit confusing but we ultimaly found a $7 parking down the street by Johnny’s Little Bar. Otherwise, there is Valet for $12.By Aysa Morgan (3 months ago)So glad we had the opportunity to stop by. What an amazing experience! Excellent service, knowledgeable staff and very welcoming. It was a bit difficult choosing (everything looked delicious) and while servers were bring out other tables order, we were questioning if we should order something else or at least a plate to go.

I can’t say enough about the Father’s Day Brunch we enjoyed here. The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal! I wish I can remember the name our female server. She went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us, including running to the neighboring store to pick up almond milk for our dairy free family member’s coffee. We will definitely be back to try dinner at some point.By Sandra Feldstein (5 months ago)Impeccable service and food was great. The old fashioned was to my taste in terms of sweetness. East coast oysters were better than the west coast. Lobster bisque was very creamy. Branzino was delicious. The only negative thing is that it is a touch noisy, but I won’t put that against the restaurant.By Harry Park (3 weeks ago)Pretty good food. Our server forgot more than a few things like lime for our water, our raw oysters, and to remove the bacon from our chargrilled oysters.
I had the grilled oysters to start and lamb chops with the black orchid signature cocktail.
Overall good experience. It was a nice environment not too overcrowded. I’d give them another shot may have just been a bad evening for that server.
By Kam (11 months ago)First of all, if you go here, the Tuna Tartare is an absolute must. It’s one of the BEST things on the menu. I’ve had a lot of tuna tartare and this is one of the best I’ve ever had.The slight crunch, the sauce, the tuna… excellent!
Dinner entrees – I’ve had them all. You won’t make a wrong choice.
The drinks are PHENOMENAL. The bar is fully equipped for on and off menu. You’ll be in heaven. I know I always am!
Love me some MOC.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. The place was packed on a Tuesday night. Reservations for this place is highly recommended. The menu has a great variety. I am a seafood lover. The Thai curry mussels were Absolut amazing and the catch of the day (which was salmon) made it even more spectacular! I love the ambiance of this whole place. I would definitely go back! It was perfect and it hit the spot this time! Highly recommended in my book!By Tiara Brittne, (3 weeks ago)I have yet to find a Cameron Mitchell restaurant I do not like. This place certainly is no different. Perfect location. Great menu. Great service. Great drinks. We could end there, but I won’t. I have had a lot of clam chowder, but I have come back twice just for it. I plan to try several more things on the menu – the Great Lakes Fish and Chips are really wonderful, that Coleslaw needs to go on my Babyface BBQ menu, I’ve been on the hunt for a smooth blend as this. Will definitely be coming back, great restaurant.By Frater Perdurabo (3 months ago)Absolutely amazing dinner experience here last night with my family. None of us were familiar with this place but we chose it based on reviews and their menu and it did not disappoint one bit. Every bite was amazing and I was honestly shocked at some of their pricing because of how cheap so many items were during happy hour.
During happy hour they have half off all sandwiches (includes entrees), starters, draft beers, and even some cocktails.
My wife and I can’t wait to come back here again as it’s without a doubt the best dinner experience we’ve had in Columbus.
By Tyler Johnson (12 months ago)This menu!!! This restaurant!!! SO good. I highly recommend. We had amazing service and I ordered the fish and chips with broccoli instead of coleslaw, it was a treat. I came with my colleagues and it was a great mature setting. We parked in a nearby parking garage. There was so much on the menu I wanted to try (everyone loved their meals) I would definitely come back.By Kayla Claire (10 months ago)Amazing service, delicious food and drinks. For oysters I tried the N’awlins Style Baked Oysters and also the Fried Oysters. Both very delicious. The Devil’s on Horseback appetizer is so good! My cocktail of choice was the Duke of Pearl. Our server Casey was amazing. Great first experience.By LiAmber Nichole (12 months ago)

If you are keeping up with my post you’ll notice that we did a lot of dining out over my birthday weekend. We hadn’t been to this place in a number of years and honestly I can’t exactly remember why we stopped coming. The food is still as good as I remember the service is always great and the drinks, although a little pricey are not too shabby. I got the lavender lemonade, it was delicious. I opted for the medallions. I wanna thank our server for letting us know that they do have some off the menu items and although I wanted to indulge and go for the crab legs, the market price for them was a bit steep and I can always just make some at home. For an upscale option in the Polaris area, Eddie Merlot would be a place to go.By Mzz Jaxn (9 months ago)High end restaurant with outstanding service! Excellent food that is all made in house. Table service makes the experience incredibly enjoyable. By far one of the best restaurants we have been too. Many times food is good, but service falls short or vice versa. This place hits both marks and obviously you will pay with price. Definitely a treat to go there. We even received a personalized thank you note mailed to our home for dining with them. Wow! Nice touch!By Anne Nguyen (a year ago)So this will be a long one… Short answer is this place is very good. The carrot/chocolate cake are the best thing on the menu full stop and in addition the best value. We had the 8 ounce filet and 16 ounce bison rib eye. The bison was very good, but didn’t have any complexity that warranted the price tag. The filet was as soft as butter, but cooked inconsistently. Half was medium half was rare. We didn’t mention it as we were (you guessed it) hallway done with the filet before we noticed. The sides pictured are the jalapeno potatoes that I had read reviews about in the past and the tempura green beans. The green beans were incredible, but the potatoes were disappointing at best. They were cheesy, tasted of jalapenos, but the potato was barely present and the flavors weren’t homogenous. Additionally when I’ve had any version of scalloped potatoes in the past they’ve always been broiled to a degree and that was not the case with ours. The crab bisque, charcuterie board, and crab cakes were to die for. Lastly the floor under our table had old food under it, which was just a bad touch. Ultimately a good experience, but there were some things missing on the quality vs price that left us feeling 5 stars wouldn’t be accurate.
Service was outstanding, and I can’t say enough great things about Max!
By Shaun Bailey (2 months ago)We had such a good time here for our anniversary. We made last minute reservations online that day and they got us in right when they opened. They gave us a little card to celebrate our day. The steaks were fantastic. The flavor and tenderness was spot on, and I’m not a huge steak fan either, like I usually do chicken at steak houses, but this was just so good. We will definitely go back. We got the sweet potatoe casserole which was so tasty, it could have been a dessert. We also got some mac n cheese, which is amazing. The sides could feed about 2 or 3 people, so we split. We also got some bread tbat they brought our before our food, and my goodness, it was amazing. It had a crispy outer layer and a nice fluffy warm middle. So good. The crem burlee (spelling?) was the best thing ever! We ate every last bite. A huge shout out to our waiter, Tony, he did an amazing job! Attentive and thoughtful. Will definitely go back and have already recommended it to people.By Rachael Newsom (10 months ago)Outstanding meal. Need a reservation. They greeted us, acknowledged it was a combination wedding anniversary and birthday dinner. The waiters (one in training) were excellent and attended to our needs. The wine was top notch. The meal was great. Thank You Eddies staff.By Howard J (a year ago)

This place, this staff, they are the best! Great burgers and sandwiches, homemade chips, reasonably priced and little creek view. A hidden gem I would like to hoard to myself but too good not to promote on this venue. So take only your kindness, an empty belly, room for a beer, and say Hi to the bar keeps that rule!By Michelle Kovach (11 months ago)A neighborhood bar with sports and classic rock always playing, the food here was pretty good. I got a mushroom Swiss cheeseburger with fries, and it was a good amount of food. They offer Entertainment Book coupons frequently. There’s also a view out the window of a pleasant babbling brook. Worth a visit!By Bill French (4 months ago)Great service and atmosphere! Food was wonderful. The grilled chicken sandwich was so juicy and tender, perfectly seasoned!
