Every dish was delicious and amazingly presented. The food here is creative, fun and exciting to eat. The flavour combinations are more unique than the average but still taste delightful and is highly enjoyable.

The pigeon main was a stand out and we loved the snacks in between. The service was also really lovely! Highly recommend trying the restaurant but book many weeks ahead as it’s a very small restaurant and it books out!

Have eaten in all 3 michelin stars in UK and most of 2 as well as 6 of the best in the world and I have no idea why this restaurant has not got 2 stars. Food looked and tasted fantastic. Paul should be and am sure is immensely proud of his team, they were amazing. NOTHING was too much trouble. Come on Michelin time to give this restaurant the additional star it deserves!

Thank you to Chris and all the team at Number 6 for an unforgettable evening. We let Chris and his team decide what we were having from the Winter tasting menu and what an amazing surprise it was. The treats, the butter with the cheese scone, the parfait cupcake… unforgettable. Absolutely perfection. Highly recommended. Thank you for welcoming us and making us feel at home. My favourite part was Chris coming to our table with the courses and talking us through each dish. Made it feel really personal. Thanks again

The most amazing dining experience I have had to date. Fantastically attentive staff who were on the ball every step of the way, I never had an empty glass and learnt a little bit about every meal! The fact that nearly every course had a tableside event just made it that bit more special. Every bit of food presented was stunning bith visually and to taste! If I could, I would eat here every day for the rest of my life!

Well done to every single member of staff who worked as a well oiled machine from start to finish! The hand written birthday card and goodie bag to take away were fantastic treats!

This was my favourite place to eat on my trip to Cornwall. The front of house greeted me with the most warming welcome. The service from then onwards was also perfect.
All my dishes was cooked perfectly and had delicious combinations of flavours. The mackerel was amazing and highly recommend it. And definitely save room for dessert!

Lovely restaurant, you’ll need to book in advance though even off season. Great welcome, lovely friendly staff. The food is pretty good, and is value for money in this location. Most of the wine is expensive but you don’t have to drink wine. The desserts are lovely too. I visit Padstow about once a year as I have relatives who are locals and live there and I always book this restaurant for one of the nights.

Sit in front conservatory with the dog, nice staff, nice food, lovely and light front dining area, would avoid going upstairs, Padstow great if you stay in town, and 10am the tourist Buses start arriving ! , take your boots, be prepared to walk around the area, and later on you will have the town to yourself again. And don’t forget to go on the Sea Safari or ‘Jaws’ Speed Boat Ride !

Lovely food, lovely staff. The octapus, ravioli, arancini were some of the favourites. Oh the affogato too 😉 The small plates are indeed quite small, so don’t expect a lot of quantity for the money, but I didn’t get any dish that was actually a disappointment.

It’s been a few years since our last lucky visit. The aranchini balls were the lasting memory (not forgetting the first class service). Having a couple of days in north Cornwall and needing a treat, we simply booked a table online the day before. We decided to take a trip on the super reliable ferry service from Rock rather than driving, it kind of adds to the experience. Do check the tide times as low tide can mean a walk on the beach. This is both a pleasure in dry weather and suitable foot wear, but a set of heals and new hair in the rain could end in a heated debate…. (I have been known to plan badly🤔😜).
After a very pleasurable (COVID safe) trip on the ferry and a fun filled short walk across the beach on both sides we arrived in Padstow. A warren of shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs presents it’s self almost chaotically around a tranquil enclosed harbor. After a short stroll around we popped in to rojanos a little early (before anyone got the taste for shopping before lunch).
We were greeted with a warm welcome and accepted into the familiar stylish establishment. The staff are attentive passionate and part of the whole experience. The menu is simple but one dish had been chosen pre arrival and did not disappoint. The pizzas are very special but we decided on a few starters and see how it goes. Drinks obviously also a treat in themselves. I had a pint of offshore pilsner (very moorish but not today). Joined by a bellini and a jug of water. Now the choices were perfect and we had a selection of four. Simply put ribs, ragu on baked potato, Crockett’s and of course aranchini balls. All followed by a Manhattan (I skipped pudding as I’m on a diet 🤣) and an affogato (reported by the consumer as….., J Clarkson would say ‘crisis’ inducing). So pizza obviously not required. I still think we could have managed it…
I have left the description of the dishes as I think you should go and try them… It’s hard to describe such individual little pleasures in a few words.
To conclude another lucky visit to a venue that produces both food and service that are constantly outstanding. Thank you for the experience and hope to be back soon.

We were 4 old friends in Padstow for the day; POTL was recommended for lunch. We were not disappointed! The oysters were so fresh and succulent, and all slipped down with a lovely Spanish Albariño. The “small plates” were delicious, beautifully prepared and presented. A true feast of beautiful fresh seafood. A real must!

Absolutely outstanding and definitely worth one visit (if not several!). We worked our way through the tapas style starters and did not try anything that wasn’t utterly delicious. A busy restaurant in Novembers off season meant the only table on a Sunday night that we could get was at 6pm (!) we took this as a good sign and it was a great decision. Not only was the food outstanding but the team couldn’t have been more welcoming. Thanks so much, we will be back!!

Amazing food much like the staff, Rob has a wealth of knowledge on the food served and a really fun friendly warm personality. Cocktails were amazing. Many thanks to you all for making our holiday one to remember we’ll definitely be back.

Service great staff all really friendly and helpful with us. Bloke convinced us to try out first oysters raw and deep fried. Then scallops, tempura cod, crab keema and prawn on the Lawn were absolutely delicious, the sides were excellent too, very expensive but oh well experiences are worth tenfold what money is at the end of the day.

Omg! Now this is hands down the best restaurant in Cornwall. We had such a nice experience. You have to book in advance as a warning. We booked a month in advance and the only availability was 10pm – luckily they called us a week before to say there was a 9pm slot. The service was friendly and excellent. The drinks were good. The food is the real game changer though. My fish and chips were the best I’ve ever had. The whole ambiance of the place is nice too. Certainly worth a visit if in Cornwall

Went for a friends birthday was not dissapointed . Each course was beautifully presented. I thought the scallops could have been removed from the shells before cooking though and then added back in, as it was difficult to detach them without ripping them apart. I had the lobster which I enjoyed. The staff were attentive .the ambience good. The toilets well appointed. Will return

When in Padstow you absolutely HAVE to try one of Rick Steins eateries!
The Cafe was fully booked for weeks, and we really wanted try the Moules.
So luckily we were able to make a reservation at The Seafood Restaurant.
The service was excellent. Really good, friendly and attentive staff. Fantastic menu choices. Reasonably priced (for Rick) 🙃
We shared a Mackerel starter that was delicious.
Then we had the seafood share plate for two. We could not believe the size of it!
Crab, Lobster, Mussels, Scallops, Whelks and lots more!! We managed to get through it all. I think I had more than my wife though to be fair.
Obviously a different presentation as to how we have it on The Gold Coast in Australia, but well worth the experience.

First time we have been here even though we live in Cornwall. We went at lunchtime and had beetroot salmon scallops, charred wild sea bass and turbot. Expertly prepared and totally delicious.
The staff were warm and attentive and we felt very safe that all Covid precaution were being meticulously adhered to. Definitely coming back!

This would be our 5th visit to the restaurant and we have never been let down. The staff go above and beyond, the drinks are lovely and the food is amazing! This time we had scallops, fish and chips and Indonesian seafood curry and it was all delicious and well worth the money!
It was also mine and my wife’s anniversary and they created a nice little desert dish for us.
    Will definitely be returning again!
