One of the nicest and cleanest Walmarts I’ve been in. Very well stocked and employees are quite friendly.

My wife and I placed a pickup order today that included a computer monitor. When the order was delivered to our car, everything was included except for the $100 monitor – which we had paid for. We didn’t realize this until we got home. Upon returning to the Walmart and speaking to customer service, everyone acted like we had no idea what we were talking about. The app confirmed that the monitor was paid for and should have been delivered. After we threatened to call the cops to file a report for theft, they suddenly produced the monitor. This is outrageous and never should have happened…needless to say we will not be patronizing this Walmart any longer.

I would rate it a five but unfortunately some cashier’s are in need of more training with customer services and pay more attention to there jobs then gossiping about their home lives, with other employees, this is a business for people to buy what they need or want without the hassle of waiting on a worker to stop talking long enough to get the service they needed. It’s a real inconvenience to shop while being blocked by people stocking shelves, yes I understand can’t buy it if it’s not on the shelves but reminder customers are sometimes in a hurry to get to the places they need to be, not everyone has the luxury of taking time to get what they need, so much improvements are needed, it sad how time can destroy how good things use to be. Oh and by gods how many times I have almost been ran over by the employees who are shopping for other customers, there has to be a better system to put things together then rushing them, that they end up not caring about the customers inside the store smh. I understand the employee is worried about being yelled at about deliveries being done by timeline, which I am sure those time lines were not set by a busy store with stockers blocking aisles, so that should definitely be considered to be timed by the inconveniences that may happen instead of unrealistic time guides. 🤔

Staff for the holidays! We have been waiting for over an hour to pickup our order along with half of Cullman. If you can’t support pickup, then stop accepting orders. Where are the managers? You’ve got traffic from three directions all trying to fight for a pickup spot and some poor kid out here putting himself in front of moving cars to keep people from jumping ahead in line.

This is shameful. Get a plan, get some orange cones, block off some of the traffic and STAFF FOR THE HOLIDAYS or don’t accept more orders than you can service.

I ordered picture frames to be delivered to my home (19 of them). At the end of the day they were supposed to arrive, they didn’t. No correspondence from them at all. I got an email overnight that my order was delayed. ( No chit). Later in the day another email that they shipped 1 picture frame. I cancelled the order. I really am tired of big corp attitudes that they don’t have to be customer friendly or provide good service. I will NOT be ordering ANYTHING from Walmart ever again.

Standard Walmart fare. The staff were extra helpful considering it was a holiday and they had to work. Blessings for all the smiles and wishes and happy holidays from the staff!!! Highly recommended

I’ve shopped at this Walmart for many years and have never had a negative experience, it’s always been a good place to shop. But today, Ms. Jeanette, an employee for about 20 years made it a GREAT experience. She was so kind and so good with my son – it turned an otherwise stressful trip into such a positive visit. I really hope they treasure such wonderful employees , they make all the difference

So far my favorite Walmart I will drive 20-30 minutes out of the way just to go to. No lines, no wait times, great parking, SO CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. This is the first time I’ve managed to get everything on my list because their inventory was correct online and showed everything in stock. Seriously. So great. Go here. Helpful and nice employees, an abundance of carts at the entrance (helpful when you have children). This shopping trip made my day. The only thing I could ask from this Walmart is if they could move closer to where we live lol. This should be the poster store for other locations! Definitely coming back!!!!!

Better than Bessemer Walmart. But order pick up is atrocious. The few times that I have ordered they’re always delayed by hours or I wait an hour for someone to bring it out to the car. This last time I placed an order pick up I canceled it because it was going to be delayed and it wasn’t being prepared yet. Only to find out when I pressed cancel that it was only a cancellation request. Then customer service told me that a cancellation request can take 48 hours. So now I can’t just go to the store and go get things I need because my money is tied up with an order that may or may not be filled. And if it does get filled and I don’t want it , I have to return it in store. 3rd time is a charm.

What 1st graders do they have working at this store? I got my groceries home and found 4 single boxes of tea in 4 separate bags. Several items that should have been bagged were not. 8 large cans of vegetables in one bag and my eggs were broken.
If I could give less stars, I would.

I typically love this Walmart for its selection and reputation for being well-stocked. During my last visit though, we waited 40 minutes for our online pickup order. The guy in front of us had ordered a car-full of groceries and the staff really seemed to be working hard. I just wish management would do a better job of mitigating how many orders can be filled during a time slot, and not over promise availability and prompt service. I feel like it ends up being taken out on the employees

Cheap groceries but long waiting lines at the checkout desks.
A long walk if you have no clue where what is.
And the use of plastic bags is outrageous. That must be changed!

Customer service was lacking. Didn’t see any associate to ask questions but the security lady came over in my area to watch. I was in a hurry and was in need to buy personal items to prepare for a long stay in town due to a family emergency that I was running to go and help. So, I understand but I needed help to get out quicker not judged. It was not organized and it was crowded with items everywhere that’s why I couldn’t find what I needed.

I found everything I needed without a hassle. There was an associate stocking spices. He saw a young woman looking for a spice and asked if he could help her. Long story short, she was shopping for her mother and didn’t remember. The associate asked her to call her mother and he spoke with her to try and find it for them. I have never in a walmart ever seen anything like this and when she was done, he politely told her to have a great day and Happy Thanksgiving. He then turned his attention to me and helped me find what I was looking for. Above and beyond. The best customer service I have seen in forever!!!!! I wish I could remember his name. The date was 11/22/22 between 3p and 4p. He was exceptional.

This Walmart off of hwy 280 in Hoover is one of the best Walmart stores I have ever shopped. This is a very large place with a great selection of merchandise. It is clean and very easy to maneuver around. However, this store has the same issue as the other Walmarts. They never maintain stock of items. What you can purchase today may not be in stock, or on the floor, tomorrow. They have many empty shelves and there is no consistency with anything. There is also no employees to help you with items that may just be in the back stock. But this large store appears to have a better variety of items which gives you more choices if your item is unavailable. I like there merchandising of the cold items. They use enclosed refrigerated units to hold the cold items. Nice!

The bakery(at Pelham super Walmart) section lady (Erin) is very helpful and creative with the cake design and the taste. She made our son’s birthday cake more beautiful by adding additional touch ups to look more 3D look ( just so others can understand, we shared those dinosaurs picture to her and asked to write the “happy birthday Rehaan”, The additional trees, grass at the bottom all her own creative touch). Keep up the great work. Thanks for the Cake.

Not the cleanest store but the produce is excellent. The deli has a great deal on one vegetable and one chicken leg for $1.99. The bathroom is clean. They do not stock tea in front coolers. I had to walk all the way to back of store for a cold tea.

Hmmm… What can I say, it’s Walmart! 😄 Shopping at this location can be pleasant besides the wait to checkout due to short of staffing. Most of the time it’s decent and clean but can be a bit crowded at times so, the majority of items you’re looking for may not be found. It’s because lots of neighbors shop within this location, which explains certain merchandise shortages. I love the fact there’s constant sales especially with the clothes for the family and I. Overall, I’ll definitely recommend but only if you’re not in a hurry because remember they’re short of staffing.

We got here at 11:10 and they had just closed. I spoke with two employees outside and one of them was Yolanda. I asked about anywhere to eat. My daughter and I had driven for 8 hours and just wanted something to eat. All of the restaurants were closed and we couldn’t find food.

Yolanda told us to go ahead and grab a sandwich and she stayed to watch. A night manager, whose name I didn’t catch, ran us down, yelling and scolding us, saying we couldn’t be in the store. I explained that I was literally grabbing a sandwich. She flatly refused and told my daughter and I we had to leave. How cold, insensitive and lacking compassion.

Yolanda witnessed this and she insisted that she would buy us a sandwich and the told them manager as much. I told her I didn’t want to cause a problem. She insisted. She wouldn’t take money either.

I hope Yolanda sees this and knows how much that act of kindness means. The fact that Wal Mart would make that other woman a manager and that she would treat my daughter and I in that way is why they get one star. I hope the higher ups see this as well. Basic kindness isn’t hard.

Used the pay as you go scanner app on my phone. Yet, had to wait in the only self check out line open (for 33 minutes.) It would be more efficient to have a dedicated check out for folks who have already scanned as they went. Defeats the purpose to do so that in store scanning to wait to be able to leave.

This is the best Walmart in town! The employees are the friendliest of any of the Walmarts I have shopped. The staff here will actually help you find items and take you to find them unlike other Walmarts where many staff brush you aside or ignore you entirely. I literally drive out of my way to shop here weekly. The store is super clean and well maintained. The bathroom is so clean and nice! The merchandise is always neatly stocked. My friend calls this “the hidden Walmart” which makes sense because it is a super Walmart that a lot of people don’t know about. Maybe not a super Walmart because there is no Garden center but close enough – definitely bigger than the neighborhood ones and has clothing and housewares, toys, furniture etc. It sits at Dawes and Cottage Hill Rd. Overall, if shopping at Walmart stresses you out to the point you almost have given up on shopping there – try this Walmart.

It’s a really nice Wal-Mart! It’s not hard to navigate and the bathrooms are really clean. I do wish they sold bricks for charging devices separately from chargers. We did not see any. Otherwise, a really nice store.

It’s wal mart..their customer isn’t #1 anymore as is apparent by the self checkouts..I personally don’t hate it persay..but the elderly HATE it..and then there is the receipt checks..if you want people to be their own bagger and checker you need to do something different with that, and how many bags I used to bag my items with..really? I find myself going to Target more often.

6am to 11pm is trash. Shopping at 2am is the best.

They had the fortnite 2800 v-bucks regular $19.99 but the sale price was $8.00. They rung up $20.00. When I asked the lady it took 15 minutes to find something out. She kept saying I don’t know why. Got a manager and she said oh that was a black friday sale. The price tag clearly showed 1/19/21. Then I was told well if there was a lot of the cards there we would honor the price with one. Needless to say I had to pay the $20.00 each. What happened to honoring the prices. Needless to say I’m very disappointed in this Walmart & their. customer service
