I went to Walmart today at 973 US-90, Morgan City, LA 70380 to look at the tvs. Decided to get 1. Waited there for over 40min and asked for help few times to 3 workers that where there chit-chatting. A white lady arrived and a worker there went straight to help her on the spot. I told her we were waiting and she ignored me 😐.. I told her I needed a Car to haul the tv myself and pay for it infront cus there’s was no one to help us. she gave me the “how rude look”. Summing up, we didn’t got the damn TV cus there were no cars either. No the first time that we get this type of service at this store either it had happened many times that we actually avoid going to this store and rather prefer to drive to houma LA or use Amazon. Kind of sad that they are so racist. 😔

Store was clean and the cashier was very nice–the registers open were all self-checkout but she came up to us and opened up a regular register for us. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the lady working in sporting goods. We waited 20 minutes at the desk to buy a fishing license. After 20 minutes I walked to the front and they called a worker back. When she walked up she went behind the desk and scolded my husband, saying she’d been behind the desk all morning and that we shouldn’t have called for assistance. We looked at her because she literally just walked up and she said she wasn’t really gone she was just bent down behind the counter? Nope, we were there.

I never have a good experience at this Walmart in Houma… It is dirty and I can never find anybody who works there to help… And when you do get help they have no clue… I am tired of only one cashier…a hired cashier… And not me as the cashier. I will never go back

Walmart is OK. Murphys in Bayou Vista, La. sucks. They caused my debt card to get blocked because they didn’t have a sign letting people know to come to the window to use their card. Now I have to wait until Tuesday to get in touch with my financial institute to get it unblocked. Needless to say I won’t be going to that Murphys anymore. Workers are sorry and inconsiderate. Can’t get any money until Tuesday. Good thing I have a gas card or I’d be stuck like chuck…

Self checkout is much faster than waiting in line. Associates are friendly, helpful and and acknowledge your existence! The store is usually properly stocked which makes shopping at this location pleasant. What I don’t like is the miniature hill on the home & pharmacy side; rolling a basket down that is the recipe for hitting someone’s car!

I wouldn’t give it more than two stars. In this store, you only can get limited service. There are many drawbacks I got here, some of these are- You never can get money order here. They will tell you that the machine doesn’t work. You will will never get your fishing license. They will say the computer is down. You will not return your stuff if you go after 6-7 pm. They will tell you that there is not enough staff.
It’s so irritating. I then asked them what you can offer me?
You only can buy limited items and services here.

Pathetic that’s all I can say. Order for curbside pickup on 10/11/22 between 7 and 8 PM. Got notification and arrived at 7 and checked in at slot 11 on the app which is a joke also. Try finding your ordered items in the app good luck with that. Anyway they brought 5 of my 10 items. I saw one was unavailable on the app but 4 were missing. No one knows what they are doing there just a game to children. I really think they think it’s a game and very little effort put into finding the items. Then they marked my order as picked up with 4 items paid for and not picked up. How do you close an order before all items are in the customer’s possession? Now I have to deal with customer service to get refunded for items I did not receive. If it was not one mile from the house I would NEVER go there. It seemed like everyone there was having some kind of issue.

About 1 in every 3 orders I have some kind of problem.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I called this store close to 12 times, tried every dept available, and each time the phone rang for several minutes until somebody picked up the call and immediately hung up on me. I drive to the store immediately following and there’s employees all over just standing there doing nothing, you’d think one of them would have enough work ethic or decency to just answer the phone. The work ethic and demeanor of these people is horrendous. I left without making a purchase and will never give a dime of money to this location. Whoever manages this location should be fired in addition to the employees currently working there.

Trying to reach anyone in the auto center is down right madness… No one ever answers the phone and it is forever busy at the actual location. Who is overseeing these employees. Everyone takes a lunch break at the exact same time so between 11am and 1pm there are no employees working on vehicles… Even contacting the general store is a complete mess… Wondering if corporate ever come out to check on the daily activities of this particular store

I had problem’s finding things because it was my first time in this store. Then a lady who works there started helping me. She had a phone that locate everything! She stayed with me for about 15 minutes. She was so nice and helpful! I wish I had written down her name so I could give her a good review!

Very clean organized and kind staff, just as any other Walmart. One employee went out of her way to cash my husbands check so we wouldn’t have to wait in such a long line ( I guess she noticed we were exhausted parents of 3 kids) lol. It made my day just a little smoother and I appreciated it greatly

This place is pathetic! Management is sad but yet can’t wait for the end of the year bonuses! SOME employees actually are decent, the rest act as if you owe them the world! Walmart as a whole needs some serious repairs due to the incompetence of management and ethics. Greed is rampant as a whole with Walmart. For the amount of money that they make a day, it should be a magical experience every single time you walk through the door. But all you get is a pathetic china made cheap trash item priced ridiculously. You’re sad Walmart!

Went to buy a surround sound. On line they had the Polk audio. Polk is the best in my eyes. Have 4 in the New Iberia store. Get there , there is the floor model. Ask a sales rep for one and she tells me they do not sell Polk any more. Have sold Polk for 3 months. They discontinued them. I do not shop at wal mart usually because they sell trash and you have to self check out. Will not go back again.

Pick up is horrible. The workers a mostly on their phone instead on getting ur curbside delivered in a timely manner. Not enough slots n people park in slots that’s not picking up orders. Not enough workers to handle curbside n do unorganized.

Steer clear of this Walmart, the customer service is horrendous. The employees don’t even care. I tried buying some beer, (I’m past mid-30s), and the employee refused to sell it to me saying the ID was registering an incorrect date. It wasn’t, and there’s nothing wrong with my ID. The employee wasn’t even scanning it. I walked out. I’ll never try to buy anything here ever again. Stay away from it.

I shop at Walmart a lot. Their prices up going up like everyone else but just not as high as everybody else because they were high already. I buy most of my needs from Walmart. I do not buy their meat. I do buy there lunch meat, sausage, hot dogs and sometimes me and cheese from the deli.

This Walmart was crowded. Only 3 registers were opened. I waited about 35 minutes though. The cashier was very nice. The store was stocked with everything I needed. Nobody was social distancing or wearing a mask because COVID is still going on and Monkeypox and there is also a Norovirus going around.

Ok Minden Walmart is one of the better ones around. The staff is usually and helpful. Today was different first I was using the self checkout this employee walked up to my register and starts pushing buttons without saying a single word. I still don’t know why she did that. 2nd I go to the automotive department to pay for two items when I get to the counter the guy running the register walks away to answer a question from the female cashier had but instead of coming back to ring me up he walks off to the radio case to assist Another customer that arrived long after I did. so I walked out and left my stuff on the counter. I don’t know why but Minden Walmart customer service sucked today. employees need more training on customer service.

The meat and staples are double other stores. If it wasn’t for the fact that there is only Walmart or Brookshires no one would continue to shop there. Not enough cashier’s and they can’t call for help to managers as the store removed the phones. and now the clothing is more than Target and lower quality at this location. They have a sweater for $40 that is poor quality. At a Walmart, who is supposed to be a “bargain” store. And if you order for pickup they always say they are out of cheap brands and charge you for more expensive but when I go pick up the more expensive order you can walk to the shelves and find the cheaper products.

Seems like everytime I go to Walmart the items for sale aren’t in the correct place or don’t have a price at all. It’s hard to keep up with my shopping and manage my time as well because I have to do so much extra now. Also, the food cost is too high. Fix it now. Help bring the bar back down so that those less fortunate don’t have to go without.
