  1. Although we walked the beach before the park was officially open, I was very impressed with the development of the park area. Lots of washrooms, changing areas, pathways so the dune is not disturbed, and a great boardwalk leading to the beach. It is an extraordinary beach with a breathtaking view.

  2. The early bird gets the worm. Or should I say free parking. Arrive later and you pay ($13) for parking.

Excellent beach. Soft sand. Minimal seaweed. Not as busy as I thought it would be which was a great thing.

Restrooms were clean. Canteen available in case you get hungry and didn’t bring food. Store available for items you may have not packed.

Washing station also available to rinse the sand off.

  3. Lovely beach and many little hermit crabs in water. Harmless little creatures and kids love looking and catching and releasing them.

  4. Wonderful ocean-side beach. Very family oriented and lots of room to set up on the sand. Great facilities, very clean. The sand is amazing and the water is perfect. Make this one of your stops, you won’t be disappointed!

  5. Beautiful scenic beach and not particularly busy in the evening before sunset. Parking is free in the evening as well, but there is a fee to go during the day or afternoon. The beach is quite long and makes for a great walk along the shoreline. An ideal place to check out if you’re staying in Shediac and a quick drive from the downtown area.

Wonderful touristic spot in a beautiful small town. The giant lobster in Shediac is an iconic site you need to visit, take a photo in and look around in the visitor info area and the souvenirs shops. You will find treasures made by locals in the big red barn and many social-media-worth spots to get nice pictures.
Just park and walk around, it’s a lovely place.

Great place for the kids to play and have fun for a while.
It was not too crowded at that time and we got a whole bunch of photos.
The restaurants nearby did not seem to be open or we were late.
Construction is going on currently so give yourself an extra 10 mins driving time.

This lobster is huge!! Such an awesome photo op!! Well worth the detour. There were also little shops near it such as a paddle board shop, a few gift shops and a place to eat which had lobster sandwiches. There is a bathroom as well in the main gift shop. This was worth the detour for us!!

Awesome place to stop (currently main Street is under construction so it’s noisey and the street is dug up so not the best drive but that’s not the fault of the lobster). Great photo op and the lobster is very well crafted. It sits beside a lovely little touristy site where you can peruse local artisan items. Would recommend stopping here.

It was great stop and see the lobster. Kids climbed it and had fun to see it. The colourful building and gift shops was beautiful. The best part was dock on the back of the building, my kids saw a lot of crabs in different sizes.

Fantastic beach! Cleaner than Parlee, warm water (especially between the sand dunes at low tide, might as well be sitting in a bath tub), no rocks, no garbage, and so well taken care of. Restaurant, brasserie, and facilities also on the beach, and both the restaurant and the canteen are great. Will become our favorite daytrip even though it’s a couple of hours drive for us!

When we came here it was near sunset and there wasnt much people there. It was a nice place. There was someone cleaning the beach shoreline so thats always nice. You just need to bring a bug repellent cause there’s a lot of mosquitoes as the night closes. There’s also a place for parking.

The Aboiteau beach is by far my favourite! Much cleaner and less busy than parlee. Get there early for close parking, but a little walk isn’t bad. They have installed a new staircase and it’s fabulous! It’s also restaurant adjacent!

There’s a great seafood restaurant and a bar with great food. The whole building is beautiful with air-conditioning indoors or lots of space to sit outside. It’s right on the beach which is also beautiful and has a wheelchair accessible ramp right to the sand and water

Great beer at Cavok. We just went in the evening. Sat outside. Didn’t try the food, but it did look mostly deep fried from. We could tell. We were going to have an ice cream for the walk home, but it closed. Will definitely go again if we are in the area.
