Amazing and warm beach! It was shallow throughout so good for kids as well. Water has moss in it but that’s not an issue. Even on weekdays, it was kinda crowded. Loved the vibes. Not too expensive like other places. Also great restaurants and food chains at the shoreBy Panchal Bhavika (7 months ago)Hasn’t been in Wasaga Beach in years, things have changed so much. It’s much more exciting and impressive, lots of shops and restaurants, no need to pack food if you don’t want to. The Beach is beautifully maintained, beautiful white sand, no rocks that’s what I like, love the “Wasaga” sign, so colorful and in a perfect location, the only thing I don’t like is the clarity of the water, no seaweeds, but the water is not too clear. Otherwise everything is good, will go back again.By Melissa Choi (3 months ago)Wasaga Beach is beautiful! We went on a summer weekday, and although the beach was busy, it wasn’t overly crowded, and we were able to easily find a spot to ourselves. Parking was $20, but to be expected of any major beach/tourist area nowadays. The water was a perfect temperature (not too cold) and shallow for a long stretch, which is perfect for little kids. The sand is also soft and not rocky, which is nice. We were close to the public washrooms and many eateries at this stretch of beach, so it was very convenient! We easily found ourselves staying all day at the beach. Combined with the gorgeous weather we had, it made for an amazing day at the beach! Definitely recommend visiting, ideally on a summer weekday if you can manage it.By April Chan-Tsui (6 months ago)One of the best freshwater beaches in Canada. It is the longest freshwater beach in the world. Parking space is a bit huddle, but you can get around $20-25 for a full day at various spaces. Overall, you will not regret to visit. You will definitely enjoy water in a Canadian summer with warm water.By Mayankkumar Gardhariya (5 months ago)Since I’m from Greece I’ve never seen a lake so big that looks like the sea. We came in September, so the place wasn’t crowded. The water is shallow witch is a good thing if you have children. Food is good parking prices are reasonable.By Costas Chrisovergis (5 months ago)

Only reason for giving 4 starts is that paying $21 for parking seems excessive. Otherwise the beach is really nice, shallow for the little kids and very warm and clean. Lots of people but didn’t feel crowded.
You can walk 5 min to beach 1 from here as well and have an ice cream or eat something.By Yumei De Armas (6 months ago)Very nice beach just 2 hours from Toronto and suburbs. Water is shallow, ideal for kids. Sand is white and very fine. I recommend it for family outingsBy Dipesh Patil (4 months ago)Sunset views are amazing, the beach is quite shallow so super safe for kids. The water is clean . However, it’s worth for the time and money you spent in #wasaga #beach #Area-2By Global Visit (9 months ago)Very nice beach, long for a decent walk and the lake is not too deep, perfect for enjoyment with kids or swimming.

Very Beautiful place. Even if all areas are close ,this area is not closed during winter. Summer time allows busy. Very beautiful sunset. Clean water . Wasaga Beach is really big.
Wonderful freshwater sand beach. Best midweek to avoid crowds. 6 public beach areas under the banner of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. Town, accommodations, dining, shopping and its people is an eclectic mix of the old and the new. Continually changing by the season and the occasion. If one is particular about any one of these things best to invest some time understanding whereabout you are headed. Something there for everyone. Bottom line is you should expect that you will have a good time!
Fun place to visit and enjoy. It’s an incredible super long super wide sandy beach and it’s worth a visit. It’s only about and hour and half from Toronto and it’s wonderful and relaxing. Parking is nearby and shop around it ranges fro. $8 to $20 per day. Parking enforcement is fierce so pay yoir tickets before going about to enjoy your day.
Best beach ever! Soft sand, shallow warm water and beautiful views. What more can I ask for? Parking space is ample and convenient, there different food and beach supplies shops around and during summer months, there’s always some festival going on. Make sure you come in early on the weekend to get a closer spot to the water.
White sandy beach, shallow water. Worlds longest freshwater beach. Lots of parking. Really loved it – we did barbecue also. A lovely beach to relax. Not much crowd yesterday.
