Devon our server was absolutely excellent! His service is top tier!! The coconut shrimp with the rum sauce is worth a trip from Texas. The fried zucchini and calamari were great as well. All of our food was fresh and served at a great temperature. My favorite side was the broccoli ? salad. The grouper Oscar was tasty and had some of the best Crab meat I have ever tasted. It’s so good they should make the Oscar a meal by itself.

Right on the water, with huge fans blowing to keep you cool out on the deck, although inside was air conditioned nothing beats sitting outside by the water particularly when your ordering fish!
Good choices in the menu, service efficient but not very communicative.
Food was tasty, although hubby said his calamari and clam strips were over cooked and heavy in the batter. My coconut shrimp were excellent and the orange zest dip delicious.

Great food, even better ambiance!
This place can be very deceiving. From the highway, it doesn’t look like it’s open. But it very much is. The food is excellent. And the service is even better. Give yourself a little time to explore the restaurant. There are many nooks and crannies for dining, all with different themes. Spend some time just sitting outside watching the ducks. What else are you going to do after eating such a wonderful meal? The property is located directly on the lake so you can just arrive in your boat, dock, and come right into the restaurant. Talk about convenience!

My wife and I enjoyed our experience here. We both started with the crab bisque and the bang bang shrimp both were very good. I ordered the grouper Oscar which was also very good and generously topped with crab meat and shrimp. My wife got the bacon wrapped crab stuffed shrimp which were huge and also quite tasty. Definitely will be back!

Excellent food! Excellent views at every turn! This place is a must, if you are in the region! Clean, great service! Inside or dockside seating. Full bar. Reasonably priced for the selection offered. We were very happy that we stopped in.

Ordered the fried catfish jambalaya with a side order of hush puppies and 3 piece catfish basket that includes fries and hush puppies with coleslaw. The temperature and taste of the food was good. The jambalaya was a bit spicy for my taste, and the catfish was thinly cut. So much so that sections of the pieces were too hard to consume. The sweet tea mixed with fresh lemonade was very good. The hush puppies were excellent; the side order was huge. Very much worth the extra $2! Would visit again but would order more pieces of catfish if getting the basket again.

Great experience. There was a line to the back of the restaurant (on a Monday night). Even still, the service was timely, the food was good and the ambience was interesting. Don’t be fooled by the outside. The inside (in the back) was packed with locals enjoying the food. Had we known, we would have eaten here both nights we were here. So many options to choose from!

First off I would like to start by saying that I actually went here for lunch and then again for dinner, something that I never do. The food was amazing, specifically the shrimp jambalaya and the spicy gator poboy that I got for either meal. The spice was just right in each, good flavors and a well maintained service system for knowing when your order is ready. I would recommend this place to any person wanting some well made seafood, both spicy or just plain fried.

Stopped by on a road trip from TX. Light and crispy hush puppies with corn inside, shrimp po-boy had nicely flattened, breaded shrimp, better than McDonald’s fries, fried oysters were big and juicy. Huge tubs of tarter sauce and cocktail sauce. Fountain drink machine with chewable ice.

I don’t even like fried catfish, but this place made me want to come back for more! Great location, lots of seating available inside but it can get pretty packed. The fried oysters are also fantastic, we will definitely be going back again. The staff are also very friendly and the orders are brought out pretty quickly.

Great place to eat. A lot of fun things to read on the wall and I love the inclusion of guests adopted a Big Mouth Bass and donating to put up on the wall with their names. I had the grilled rainbow troy with summer veggies. Delicious!

This is a chain restaurant that has a local feel. I have eaten at a Flying Fish several times and they are always very consistent with food and service. On this trip I started with gator bites and they were pretty good, a little tough. Then I had the Grilled Trout Almandine. The fish was cooked perfectly with great seasoning. It came with a large side of beans and rice that was pretty good as well. the service was quick and efficient. this is a very casual, sitting my the bay kind of feel, a lot of fun.

We look for unique restaurants when we’re on the road. This is definitely worth the stop. Located in a block with new & flashy restaurants, this is an old style shop with fabulous choices, good service and a fun environment. The fish tacos & fried pickles were great!

Nice place always good Cajun food. Many menu options all served fresh. You order at the counter and get a pager when food is ready. You get your own fountain drink, there is no table service but they have a large area to sit inside.

There’s an AMAZING variety, from traditional fried baskets to fresh grilled plates and huge salads, and it’s all delicious!
We really enjoyed the casual fish-shack decor and mellow family atmosphere Everyone in our group of 7 was impressed with both the quality and price.

I try the hush-puppies at every fish place I go to, and Flying Fish’s are the best I’ve had in YEARS.

We really enjoyed this place!!
They were packed
The staff busted their shrimp tails to take care of the customers!!
I saw it happening all around the restaurant!
Everything was delicious!
It was hot as heck in there and 95+ outside.
But their fans either don’t work, or they won’t turn them on… I did ask the waitress the please turn ours on and she said, “I’ll see if they have them fixed.”
So if u can manage the heat, the food IS WORTH IT!
No, I didn’t lead with the Oyster Nachos.
Because, We don’t like oysters!!
Mind you,… I chose this restaurant because of the reviews and the OYSTER NACHOS.
Now that we have also enjoyed the deliciousness that is OYSTER NACHOS from FISH CITY GRILL, I would also like to leave a great review.
(Those who haven’t tried and even don’t like oysters… these babies are the bees knees!)

Outstanding Service! Really! Cod and Shrimp & Grits were delicious. Jalapeno soup was great, wife loved it! Char-grilled Oysters were good, a little on the lemony side, they need to be bathed in garlic and butter, then at the end, sprinkled with Parmesan. Perfect this and no one will hold a candle to you. Well be back, and go if you have not!

Had an excellent meal on our first visit here. We had the shrimp pooboy, shrimp and grits, and my favorite the special (yellow fin tuna mango street tacos). We have enjoyed these types of seafood dishes all over the country. These were an excellent execution especially for NW Arkansas. A little pricy but worth it. The golden margaritas were also delicious! I’ll be back, probably during a happy hour. ?

Well I have always been in love with this place. Today was no exception. The service was great. I ordered a Bloody Mary that came with a huge shrimp on top. The drink was a little spicy but was very good. I had their Gumbo that can’t be beat unless you’re deep in Louisiana. I had the catfish with rice and coleslaw. The coleslaw is really good. I received great service from a nice young man who was quick to serve and check on me. Of you haven’t tried this place…WHY!! ?

Highly recommended. I started with the Crab cake which was excellent, one of the best I’ve had. I had the special which was lobster and crab stuffed salmon. Absolutely amazing. The Keylime pie was excellent, but not scratch made. Clean inviting atmosphere.

My food was good, my man said his was killer. It lasted us 2 days. We didn’t even eat all the hush puppies n slaw.
Wanted to sit by the lake (that’s why we chose to go there). We were told it was closed because it was dirty. (I looked, it was not dirty). Idk, maybe they were having issues), they mentioned being understaffed.
We wanted crab. But there were out of all crab except for the biggest & smallest.
The waitress was surprised at our order. of 3 entrees and an appetizer.
We spent quite a lot. I wanted to sit outside b/c it was a beautiful, summer evening, but no, I was freezing under the blowing A/C. (changing my seat would not have helped).
We ordered fried alligator for an appetizer, Our entrees were the Alaskan King Crab? with came with hush puppies n peel shrimp and Cole slaw and fries, and Gumbo w/rice which also came with hush puppies n Cole slaw..

Cajun Boilers has always wanted to be a Hot Springs tourist destination. They had billboards advertising their restaurant. I’ve eaten there several times and the food has always been pretty good. On my last visit I had the catfish topped with crawfish etouffee and it was very tasty. The spicy boiled potatoes were moderately tasty, but I was surprised they weren’t served in a spicy butter.

The ambience is a little underwhelming and the waitress I got seemed a bit abrupt, but the food was good enough that it still ever up with ⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Once again my 5 star rating. The best boudin balls ever, crayfish and fried shrimp were awesome. Coleslaw was different but very good. No room for dessert.

I have never left a bad review but here goes. We waited an hour and half before re received our food. Once we did you could tell it had been setting in the window for a while. They did not bring my wife’s out at that time and by the time she got hers everyone was finished eating. My nephews catfish was still soggy in the middle. The Lafayette sauce on our grouper was supposed to have all sorts of stuff in it but all is was was canned shrimp in a white sauce. We did complain to the waitress Christia but she did not listen to anything we said. All she could do is blame the kitchen. I have waited and cooked in my college day. I understand the job. She did discount my nephews food, which he could not eat. We will not be back. Very disappointed!!!
