This restaurant should definitely be on your checklist to stop at if you all right and the Baltimore / inner harbor area. My husband and I stopped in for their famous crab cakes, and we were certainly were not disappointed. My taste buds started doing a happy dance! This is a casual lounge restaurant and bar with a section set aside just for their takeout. This restaurant is in the pricey range but after you taste the crab cakes and their other seafood offerings, you’ll find that it was worth every penny spent! The next time I visit Maryland I will be stopping by G&M restaurant to grab up more crab cakes!

My wife and I are visiting Baltimore from Florida and were excited to get some local seafood (especially crabcakes). We were told that G&M was the place to go and we were not led astray. I ordered the G&M burger cooked medium. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak fries that I ordered as a side were amazing. My wife ordered the salmon. It was cooked perfectly and she loved the bourbon honey glaze. We also ordered the crab cakes to go and they were well-worth the price. They were massive and scrumptious.
We spent about $100 but that was for three meals, an app, and a drink. We had plenty of leftovers and they were just as good the second time around. While there I ordered a Heavy Seas Loose Cannon IPA and have found my new favorite local brew.

Our server was awesome. She was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the atmosphere and will be sure to come here again. If you’re in the area, stop in for incredible food whether you like seafood or not. You won’t be disappointed.

The bar service was fast and friendly. The crab cake was the best I have ever had! The garlic masked potatoes were delicious as well. Maryland crab soup is like a vegetable soup with shredded crab added to it. Not my favorite, but that’s because I’m not a fan of tomato based soups. My wife loved it.

Took my wife there for her birthday. Been awhile since we’d been there. Crab cakes and stuffed flounder were amazing. Had the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer, the limps of crab meat were perfect. The service was great, you can tell it’s run very efficiently. Can’t wait to go back.

The host was a little off putting, passive aggressive in a way. But I Pushed through and I am so happy I did. Let’s start with the cream of crab soup. One of the best I’ve had in a while. I HIGHLY recommend. Our waiter was absolutely great. He was very attentive and came by frequently to check in. Their drinks are strong! Just an FYI. I enjoyed my time there. It’s a bit expensive but well worth it.

If you’re going there for the food, well… I’ve had better tasting food that costs less. It came out looking wonderful but the wings as well as the crab dip were salty. My main course was the stuffed shrimp. The stuffed shrimp was nice and so was the spinach. My rice was cold. How? I don’t know. Our waitress was adorable but not very efficient.
However, it’s a great atmosphere with a nice view. The band was absolutely delightful and very lively. Would I go there again? Absolutely. I believe in second chances.

Free parking, masked staff, friendly server, beautiful holiday decorations, water vistas, tasty food…. are you on your way yet? 🙂 I was a little leery at first thinking it was downtown, but it is right off the highway with their own parking lot right on the water. Old Bay wings were tasty and average size. Calamari was okay but small portion. But the fish and chips were a great serving size and delicious (they do have malt vinegar too). I was a little unimpressed with their online beer menu, but fear not they have a nice selection of 6-8 (a few sold out though) local craft drafts. Glorious nice day so disappointed we couldn’t eat outside and a little bit of a shame to eat waterfront and they put the shades down, but I guess those tables make the call. Arrived at 12:45PM on a weekday and almost all tables full of unmasked patrons, packed in fairly tightly (FYI). Overall no problems and a good place.

Great visit! We sat on the outdoor patio. Service was prompt, food was amazing, the drinks were great. Had the Maryland Mule great if you are a fan of ginger otherwise stay away. The house margarita was excellent definitely recommend. Only thing is the paper straws thats now the “in” thing. Good for the environment bad for your drink. The crab dip was excellent not to creamy good portion of lump crab meat. The chicken Chesapeake sandwich was big and plentiful.

Great food, great location, great price! The restaurant located right next to the harbor. Nice and clean outdoor seatings.
Big food portions and and the staff are friendly and attentive. They were out of steamed crabs when we were there so we ordered the crab cake and they were fresh and delicious.
Steamed clams and mussels were very good and large portions too. The seafood salad was good, a bit too much sauce.
If you’re in the area, try this restaurant and if the weather is nice sit outdoors by the harbor if you can. When we come back again, I’m hoping to try their steamed crabs.

Kind of tucked in there but overall a very cool place to hangout. Drinks were refreshing and food was tasty. While waiting you can take in some scenery. The only reason for the four star is due to the delay on an entrée. Would recommend to anyone to try and I’ll definitely be back.

I came to this beautiful restaurant for my birthday dinner this past week. The food and service here is impeccable. My server Karen (who was still in training) was an absolute delight. She was warm, friendly and attentive. Everything I ordered came out fast, fresh and very delicious. My main course of Chilean Sea Bass was so moist, tender and flavorful. The restaurant itself is very clean and elegant. I also got a nice view of the harbor as the sun went down. I will definitely come here again the next time I am in the Baltimore area.

The place is gorgeous with stunning views. It’s got an old world feel and a lot of locals treat it as a landmark from what I gather.

The seafood was fresh and delicious. The cream of crab soup was the star of the show. Do not hesitate to get this if you like crab.

We also got fresh bread served to us that was warm when it got to us and scrumptious.

Our server was attentive, personable and really knew her product. I was impressed.

The Asian glaze on my wood grilled fish was so tasty.

Overall, it’s a wonderful experience. It’s everything you want out of a seafood restaurant.

The Rusty Scupper is right on the water in the Inner Harbor, Baltimore. You do need a reservation but we were able to get one for the same day, although not quite at the time we requested (15 minute difference). We asked for a water view table and were seated there. The view is beautiful, the restaurant itself pretty. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the house salad. You can (for additional price) add crab, shrimp or chicken to this. I asked for hot shrimp. When the salad came, no shrimp. The server apologized and brought it back for me . This was the only thing we didn’t like – the shrimp was not seasoned at all and was icy cold, which wasn’t what I ordered. There was an email promotion for a free crab cake appetizer, so we ordered that. It was one crab cake, crispy outside, tender inside with littler filler. So good. We split the bowl of Cream of Crab soup, which was a large portion. The soup itself was basically potato with crab on top, was okay. The entrees, however, were delicious. The crab stuffed shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus were large, flavorful and well seasoned. The portion is deceiving, much bigger than it seems. The crab dip was one of the best things we had while in Baltimore. Served with warm french bread slices, it was filled with large pieces of crab and was absolutely amazing.
The single crab cake was $29, which we thought high, but the prices mostly did reflect the quality of the food, which was for the most part outstanding.

Wonderful food and some of the best views of the Baltimore skyline. My wife and I had lunch here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I had a new appetizer, Pork Belly Confit and it was absolutely delicious. My wife had the twin Lobster Tails and my entree was the Swordfish prepared Asian style. All in all, it was a fabulous lunch…

The views of the outside from this place was gorgeous! The food here was absolutely delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and informative about all the dishes and any specials. This place is a much try when you come to Baltimore! Come right before the sun sets and the scene outside will be a wonderful addition to your dinner.

My new favorite place! I wish we had one in New Jersey! The service is fantastic. We had Jacie as our server and I also had the pleasure of speaking with one of the bartenders. It seems they love working there which speaks volumes for a restaurant. YOU MUST HAVE THE CRAB CAKES! They are so loaded with crab meat I don’t know how they even keep them together. Great food, great vibe. A great local spot and you are lucky as a tourist to stumble on this place!

This place was recommended by a local, and it did not disappoint! The seafood was outstanding and very obviously fresh. The portions sizes were big. The calamari app was so tender and perfectly breaded. The fish was the freshest I’ve had in a long time, and the chips were a little taste of heaven. The flounder BLT will change your life! It is an original to the restaurant—someone from your table must order this. Paired with the Caribbean coleslaw… *chef’s kiss*! The crab cakes were absolutely amazing and melt in your mouth—they reminded me of my childhood in Baltimore. I had to order the crab soup to go, and I expect it will also bring me back to growing up by Chesapeake Bay. Every bite was stunning. Staff was friendly and attentive, the service was quick, the atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Highly recommend to all the seafood lovers out there!

Visited today for a quick bite at lunch and were so impressed with the service. The air was cranked up pretty high inside so we asked to move outside under the tent and were quickly and kindly accommodated.

Outside, Cole was our server and he did a great job! We had the Chesapeake wings, some of the house oysters, and my partner had the cauliflower crust personal pizza. Everything was yummy and came out very fast. Oysters we’re served on ice and were just perfect.

We had a lovely time and will be back!

    Current menu photos attached.

Casey was our server and she was incredibly knowledgeable on the menu and the knowledge of the restaurant. The cream of crab was ok, it was mainly flour tasting. The crab soup was 8/10. Definitely a must have if you eat bacon. I ordered the crab cake dinner and my husband had the scallop risotto. Both were fantastic and cooked well. The crab cake did not have any filler and tasted great. I would highly recommend this place! The only place I would put slightly higher than here is Dutch’s daughter in Fredrick because they cream of crab is incredible. Either way, this is a must visit restaurant!!

I stopped here for lunch on 8/2/2022. I ordered the crab cakes dinner which came with mashed potatoes and green beans, I thought the crab cakes were good but need a little bit of seasoning on it.

The green beans seemed to just be heated up but I thought they needed to be sautéed. Overall I thought the food was good just needs a little bit of seasoning! Service was great!

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. If you have a chance to sit in Crystal’s section she makes the experience 10x’s better. She is so knowledgeable and will always make great recommendations for our family when it is their first time visiting. She knows what she is doing and what she is talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is her main priority. We always go to LP Steamer’s when we have family in town. Everyone truly has the best time and always raves about the food. We are so fortunate to have this place just a block away from our home. Food is always on point, both the Maryland blue crabs and snow crabs are amazing. Wine selection is great and awesome selection of beers. Love this place and will continue to visit.

Ordered and finished 4 Large Crab orders with family. I love how they cooked it with Old Bay Seasoning. When they say it’s large, it is really what it is. Definitely going back. Served with wooden mallet and knife. And they let us eat it with our owned cooked rice from home and homemade Filipino Sauces.

4 Jumbo crabs + old bay fries + half dozen local oysters
Everything is perfect!!! The crabs are fresh and the meat is amazing. The local oysters are large and a bit sweet, definitely worth the price. I prefer normal fries over old bay fries so I’m definitely gonna choose normal fries next time.

One of our favorite places to eat in Baltimore. Blue claws are good. Crab dip the pretzel sticks are excellent. We tried the oysters for the 1st and now we’re a fan of them. Service always been good also. We live in Jersey and drive 2 hours just to eat here

We got a picnic table on the rooftop right at sunset. Wow, what a fun way to eat steamed seafood. The staff were smiling and helpful and the many choices menu has relatively low prices for the amount and quality of what they deliver. We tried the appetizer fries and they were worth it. The combo steamed lobster and shrimp were a deal and portions were big. People were banging away cracking craps nearby and digging in. Don’t dress up as this can be a use both hands meal. Not a “which fork do I use?” meal. It was a great meal at an unassuming place.
