Wonderful helpful hard people own this laundromat. It is very clean, has a working sink, tables/chairs outside and the cleanest bathroom for patrons! There are ample options of supplies to purchase. They have large machines for large loads. Plenty of parking and easy access via 2 dedicated driveways. They will even wash/fold your clothes if you drop them off. I highly recommend this gem!!!By lisa mccann (11 months ago)The lady was the most friendly and accommodating at Laundryland that I have come into contact with since I have been back home Very clean and respectable customers.By Jodi Hudson (3 months ago)For a 25 hour laundromat it does its job. In a safe neighborhood and the staff are very sweet. The machines don’t always work, I’ve lost multiple load equivalent amount of quarters in their washers. But the price is good. Overall not a bad spot.By Andrea Bourgeois (11 months ago)Open 24 hours. Friendly daytime staff. BYO supplies cuz vending machines don’t always work.By Melissa Ramirez (2 months ago)Clean, pleasant, and well lit with off street parking. Staff is very friendly. Machines are plentiful and well maintained. Change machines, snack vending and Wi-Fi. It is across Alamar from Your Daily Bread.By B BOlitzky (5 years ago)

I am thankful for these new owners every morning while walking my dog. One of the owners is hard at work deep cleaning the facility. After coming out of a pandemic and still being a little nervous, this puts me at ease. Also, the simple fact that this human is up before most making sure everything is working and deep cleaning, you are an angel! Thank youBy Charles Fossett-Lee (4 months ago)I personally like the fact that they are open 24/7 and after 10:00p pm there are discount prices. The only bummer part is that half the dryers don’t work correctly all the time. Other than that, great laundry spot.By Michelle Quinn (3 weeks ago)Love Mission Laundry! Always very clean. They have a lot of washing machines from large capacity, medium and small. Lots of dryers too. No waiting for a machine. The new remodel is beautiful. Nice patio in front with table and chairs, 2 flatscreen TVs and ATM machine on site. Open 24/7. Bonus, they also have off street parking.By Betty T (7 months ago)This place has completely changed! It has new ownership and you can really tell the difference. I used to come here a couple years ago and didn’t care for it. I gave it another try a couple months ago and wow, it has become my new go to. I would say I’ve been going 1-2x a week for 5 months now and my experience has been the same every time. It is SO clean. A dirty laundromat is my pet peeve and for some reason it seems to be the norm at places I’ve tried…I’m cleaning my clothes here, I want the facility to be clean! Well, this one is! The machines, counters and floors are always clean. They have a nice big working sink with hot and cold water that is clean as well. They have tons of machines ranging from normal washers to ones big enough to do my whole weeks worth of laundry at once. I have never had an issue getting enough machines to do everything I need even when there are other people in the laundromat. They have a high speed which is essential when I sit to work or watch something while I wait. I like to sit out on their outside patio while I wait, it’s so cute. I am usually using my phone but they have two flat screen TVs on which is a nice option. It is also open 24hrs a day which is hard to find. I’ve done laundry later in the evening after 9pm and it feels safe, well lighted and in a center that has security. Just wanted to provide my feedback for others who haven’t been here recently or ever, a real gem!By Rich and Kim Fogel (7 months ago)New owners have done a great job bringing this convenient location back to glory, remodel looks awesome. Very happy it is open and available. Nice, clean, and great location with so much around to keep busy while doing laundry. My favorite place to go, even if it’s not the closest to me.By Gaston Sanchez (7 months ago)

Helpful, kind staff. Speedqueen washing machines and dryers, excellent brand (I have one at home). We were in a pinch needing some soiled laundry cleaned and this place was great. We didn’t have any laundry supplies and got what we needed out of the laundry vending.
I loved my experience at Modern Laundry and I really appreciate how kind the owner was to me. They accept tap and pay to load the laundry cards and refund you for the amount leftover if unused. The owner was so sweet and patiently helped me wash and dry my padded mattress cover! He had the best advice on which machines to use and how to properly dry my item in order to avoid damaging it. This place was really clean and well kept as well which is amazing! I love businesses that are run this way and I definitely think this is the best laundry business in Santa Barbara!
I’m surprised that ppl don’t love ML. Maybe they haven’t tried some of the other nearby choices? Here’s the deal…the place is clean, I mean REALLY clean. I drop something going from washer to dryer & I don’t need to wash it again, the baskets roll and DO NOT have rust (thank you John!) The machines are clean, regularly serviced and rarely is one “out of service” the bathroom is cleaner than my bathroom at home, always and the staff is happy & helpful, very little staff turnover from what I can see. Also, they do this customer appreciation thing, randomly you get free washes. I go about once a month and I have gotten free washes about a dozen times, I use the multi-load so I save $7.50 each time. What to people want, to not have to do their own laundry? Fine! They will do your laundry for you and an excellent job and better folding than I do!
Seriously, I’m so over ppl trash talking great service and NO no one paid me to write this.
Really a great laundromat! It’s huge! From the biggest of washers to to the smallest, they have them. Same with the dryers, which I found to be super efficient.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
They use a card system to pay which can be tricky.
Very crowded but you make your way around ok.
A Starbucks is in the plaza.
No problem parking.
I walked to Cajun Cafe for Eggs Benedict while my items were drying.
I love everything about this laundromat and before 2 months ago the some of the people that were working there or not very helpful but that is changed in the last few months and need it how much more pleasant experience
