I was really reluctant to go here after my last visit. The last time there was cockroaches everywhere and sketchy people. This time I went between 11 pm and 1 a.m. and now everything is so clean! No cockroaches, no weirdos, no issues at all. They have huge washer that wash 80lbs of clothing for $10 for regular wash! It uses dollar coins, change for that right next to it. Very clean and nice people working there. Also a kids area with books that are in English and Spanish. Didn’t have any encounters with the staff. I only seen one girl at the counter then they were both in the back the rest of the night. It’s really sad how bad this has gotten. It looks so run down. The machines are still working and well. Had to dry a load of laundry took $1 so 28 mins and it could have went alot less than that. 9pm at night 2 customers no one was cleaning, no one was tidying up the store.
I have been coming to both courtesy cleaners for years the one on Wabash and the one on 3rd street. They are always super clean. As a customer,You can use the bathroom it’s always super clean. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. And the owners are very nice as well. and nobody ever messes with you while you’re in there as far as customers so it’s a safe place to go. Also the machines are always in good repair and if you lose your money they are quick to give it back to you.
Best laundromat I’ve seen in my whole life! Very clean. Courteous person at a help desk, coin changers actually work, plenty of laundry carts, plenty of seats, and reasonably priced snacks in the vending machines.
Always clean and staff is courteous. They have new washers and dryers.
My husband and I travel. We asked a local for a good laundromat while in Terra Haute and Courtesy Cleaners was recommended. Got there just after 8. You have to have washers running by 8:30 and we just made it. Clean washers and good HOT! Dryers. Met the staff who were firm about the time… which I totally understand, they want to go home at some point too… and also helpful. I’ve been to laundromats all over the country. I’d go out of my way to visit this one again! It’s excellent for a lot of reasons. Having someone on site at a laundromat is WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD. We thank you Courtesy!!
