  1. Zen garden. Staff is super friendly and garden is well maintained. A good 2 hour drive from Calgary. Best time to visit is from 1st week of June to Mid August. Also has water park and a lake adjacent to it. Only takes an hour to get complete tour. Tea ceremony is performed on Sundays (though not sure).

  2. What a wonderful afternoon we spent meandering through the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. No rush! We took it slow in a zen like fashion. The beautiful scenery enticing us to sit and relax. Listening to the water falling and making it’s way through the garden. With our entrance fee we received a choice of strawberry or mocha cookie with mocha iced tea or orange juice. Very yummy!
If you stop in Lethbridge, definitely go check this out!! On the way put we checked the gift store! Lots to see and buy 🙂

  3. The gardens were beautiful!
I took more videos then pictures and am unable to upload them.
Everything was very well maintained. The trees and bushes were well groomed and soo cute!
Make sure you stay on the path and don’t pick up the rocks.
    The staff was very friendly.
Would love to come back in different seasons of the year to see the leaves change to fall colors.

  4. What a beautiful experience!! Our first time in Lethbridge was perfect largely in part of this place! We got super lucky with a special event of some traditional dancing! What a lovely bunch of ladies ♡ we highly recommend this visit.

  5. The people working there are so friendly and it shows they love what they do. I definitely recommend visiting! Even though it is a small garden, there are so many details and thoughts that went into how it was built. Be sure to try the sumo suits and watch the taiko performance!

Such an amazing park! There is something for everyone. Every year we come down from Calgary to participate in the dragon boating races and this is our favorite festival.

Located in the heart of Lethbridge. Very close to the Japanese Garden, Outdoor Water Pool, Tennis courts, Ball park & Playground. Great place to go picnic, biking, walking, fishing and boating.

Beautiful park and nice big playground. Lots of benches to sit at and watch the water. Was disappointed though at the unfortunate dirty floating pier, couldn’t walk out on it.

I have to admit it’s been more than 2 yrs since we stopped there due to pandemic, but my wife, daughter, son in law ,myself went here bout 7 pm for supper. My son in law ordered chicken stir fry with fine noodles. He got his order but No chicken. I ordered a beef dip w/ fries, my daughter ordered 2 parmesan deep fried curds, they came later, & chicken wings for my wife. The deep fried curds came at 2 different times, son in law got his chicken fried stir fry. Then came wife’s wings, which she couldn’t eat cause not fully cooked & my beef dip was tasty w/ gravy & beef dip sauce however it was roast beef loaded w/ grisliest beef ever. We were not impressed. Pity it’s gone so downhill. I never finished my meal & my wife never finished hers. The prices were still reasonable but quality suffered. You don’t eat eat uncooked chicken. We hope we can attend this great restaurant & casino again & find no deficiencies. Photo doesn’t show raw bones w/ckn wings. However, hopefully a large improvement due. It will be a while before we try it again sadly.

Food is always great and fresh , not a ton of options but a great variety and the servers are delightful and sweet all the time. Known for their liver and onions but I love the club house . ( mash potato scare scooped like hospital food ) but poutine is great! And drinks are perfect .

Great atmosphere, smells good. Very clean with friendly staff. Didn’t eat here but played a few machines. Very well decorated! I would like to come back to try the food which I have heard is great.

The food and desert were great. The entertainment was on point. Go see Rebel Angel’s play if you see them advertised. Its worth the trip. My complaint was the service. I went and got us our own menus and we waited and waited while 4 or 5 different servers walked by and didn’t even look at us. After almost half hour someone finally asked if we had been helped. He did a great job serving us after informed him we waited half hour. I get it’s a casino and they don’t need our money but, wow.

They dont deserve a star, but this review is coming from an indigenous perspective. This casino has a lot to work on especially when they’re serving indigenous people. The staff were very unwelcoming, ignorant and even were racial profiling. I was disgusted by the staff and how they represented themselves, for instance tonight, im not from around here, and last call was 1am, when it should be around 2am but after 2am, the waitresses were still serving non-indigenous people, and even promised me and my mom a last drink for her birthday, instead we are denied and left the casino disgusted and disrespected. If the casino management/staff does not appreciate other ethnicities, especially the indigenous communities that surround lethbridge, display a sign for “colonizers only!”. If you’re indigenous and go here, expect to be discriminated upon and dissatisfied.
