  I enjoy coming out here both for the drive and for the scenery. It’s an enjoyable ride out on the bike and the old farm is pretty neat to walk around. It was nice to take the 35mm film camera out and get some pictures around the farm. The park itself is lovely, with great scenery, tons of walking paths, and the occasional food truck, what more could you ask for?

  This park has great mountain biking trails with nice jumps, sweeping corners, table tops and lots of fun. You start at the top where the lookout is and go down to lakes. There’s also trails to ride up and the trails across the hills to connect up with the old motocross cross country trail back to Medicine at Campground. Park also offers a nice big change rooms washrooms and concession. The beach is groomed daily, lifeguards on duty, and the water is filtered in the lake. there is start trout in the other pond and lots of trees. Nice walking paths and right by the river. And also hear the echos from the red cliffs on our side of the river and the heritage home and barn is also great to see along with the animals and mine. There’s also a blacksmith shop that I see in the blacksmith do work in.

  We visited this place a few weeks during a road trip and loved it! A beautiful place to bring the family to swim and a nice building to change which also has a canteen at affordable prices to buy food and snacks. We visited it on the way home yesterday and were sad to learn that it was affected by a tornado that hit the area. It is temporarily closed while crews work to repair all damage and make the area safe again.

  Echo Dale is a beautiful little oasis not far from Medicine Hat. It’s a great place to step away for an afternoon or a whole day. There is a small historical farm, a swim lake, and a paddling lake.

  The swim lake has lifeguards that start at 11am daily and kids under 9 need to have someone with them in the water 16 or older at all times. It has a beautiful sand base and beach.

  There are public washrooms and showers (indoor and outdoor) available as well as ample change space. This area was developed for use before many places were designed for handicap use so there are no handicap shower rooms or family change spaces sadly.

  This is definitely a place you need to stop and see in the summer when you’re in the area!

  A fantastic park to spend time with family. Or just have a nice quiet walk. The fire pits and picnic tables make this a great place to relax by the fire and have a bite to eat. There is also lots of wildlife to be seen, Deer, Ducks, Geese, Birds, Wild Turkey and Beavers are among the frequent inhabitants of the area.

  Nice park with equipment meant for younger children. Two public bathrooms available, covered and open picnic tables, and fire pits. Walking paths galore. Not a lot of shade, bring water if it’s a hot day. Saw a deer!

  Really cool place to come and check out. Each painting has its own story behind it that tie in with some very interesting facts. It’s definitely worth just coming and checking out at least once and walking the paths to see all the sights.
