  We parked right at the end in national trust car park and climbed the rock you can either go up the steps or a steep path but well worth the views we walked right to the end to the little monument. You can go down the other side to an old army base and walk back along side the rock. Stunning views.

  Nice, quiet sandy beach, rocks to walk along below the cliff which had goats on! Path up the cliff to Brean Down Fort. Dogs allowed and parking available. Cafe and ice-cream too.

  Great beach with plenty of space and easy to walk on. Really dog friendly. They have disabled scooter to rent out for the beach too. A couple coffee shops, ice cream shop and toilets. Including disabled. Have an out door shower to rice off and a tap for your feet. Parking is upto £6 all day but you do need cash or download the app. Be aware though that phone signal isn’t great took my brother 20mins to down load it. Disabled parking is free. Very clean and tidy. Water is nice and calm so not really a body board beach. Would definitely recommend and go again.

  It’s nice and flat and dogs are allowed. Beware of tides as sea comes in quick. It’s an estuary more than a beach and like quick sand. Don’t let little kids go too far out.

  Fantastic beach and a walk to the Fort. Parking is £6 from dawn to dusk.

  Really quiet Thursday about 6pm – even with the rugby training on the beach.

  Great beach for walking along. The tide goes out a very long way and exposes mud flats so you need to be aware. Lovely little lighthouse. It’s a low lighthouse and still active a grade 2 listed building. Well worth a walk across the beach to see.

  Sand! Sand! Sand! Sand! Sand! Sand! If you like sand then come down to Burnham beach. They’ve got it by the bucket load More sand than you can shake a stinky stick at it’s good old English Sand too, none of this inferior foreign sand. Our grandfathers fought and died for this sand so come on down and give it the appreciation it truly deserves.

  Speak to Neil in the chip hut on the pier and he’ll sort you out with some “special sand” he’s very discrete.

  Beautiful view, lovely atmosphere, and it is very close to Bristol. You can take X5,X6 and X7 to there. There are lots of Ice-cream shops, restaurant. I really suggest to go if you never been there. 🙂

  What a fantastic location. Good place to swim,sunbath or just relax listening to the ocean.
  Plenty of seating close by for your picnics. Park area close by for the kids to play. Beautiful walks along the sea front and the sunsets here are amazing if you are still here at the end of the day to enjoy them. Just a short walk further on to a lovely pier. Recommend visiting.

  First visit to Clevedon as far as I recall. Lovely little place. Beaches fairly muddy at low tide, more sandy near prom with ridges of rocks heading out into the Bristol Channel. Promenade, kiosks, one small amusement arcade and fabulous pier. Lovely sea filled lake at one end for paddleboarding and swimming makes up for muddy beaches somewhat.

  Lovely rocky beach with plenty of rock pools to explore. Can get muddy due to it being a tidal river estuary, so care needed with children and families. It’s worth avoiding in winter if high tide as river Mud can be extremely dangerous and definitely not for walking on. On plus side, a lovely Victorian pier has been carefully restored, with beautiful views on a clear day over to Wales and lundy Island. Easy drive from Bristol and m5 and great cafes and a few pubs with seafront views ideal to relax and unwind.

  Such a great place to cool off. The marine lake is a fantastic place to go for a dip or take the paddle boards. There’s also some fantastic coffee shops, bistros and restaurants down towards the beautiful victorian pier.

  Very enjoyable views across the wide estuary onto Wales. Beach mainly made up boulders, stone and pebbles so somewhat difficult to enjoy without taking care where you step. There are established footpaths offering coastal walks by the car park. The car park is not free. You have to pay £1 per hour (11th July 2022). You must pay at the entrance where the machine takes your money otherwise you have to walk back some distance after parking further down the lane. There is a toilet near the car park.

  Nice place to walk, coastal pathway is great, just beware of roots sticking out of the ground can be a trip hazard.

  The beach is ok, but again if you have mobility issues the path is the best option due to lose pebbles.

  Great scenery.

  There is a carpark at the bottom of the lane, only cash no cards or mobile app options.

  Rocky beach but relatively easy to walk across. At low tide can walk around to the next set of stairs up to the coastal path and do a circular route back to Kilve car park.

  Very beautiful and relaxing, great for fossil hunting and just taking a walk along the Coastal path. Completed a nice circular route around 3 miles.
