  1. Brilliant beach with a lovely cafe. Great beach for looking for shells and finding other treasures like mermaids purses and sea potatoes

  2. Fantastic beach. Brilliant views across to pwhelli and Cardigan bay. Unfortunately it was bad weather when we visited. A national trust car park next to the beach ( free for members- just scan your qr code) . Beach café close by with good food at reasonably priced ( Open from 10 to 4).

  3. Lovely big beach when the tide is out. Quite sheltered too. We walked here with the dog when it was really windy and the beach was OK, think the headland gives good cover.

  4. Lovely beach. NT car park close by with a short walk down a leafy lane to the beach. Dogs must be on a lead until after the beach huts.

  5. Beautiful quiet, clean beach. Dogs allowed, to be kept on lead as bird flu apparent & a few dead gulls on beach. Gorgeous sand then pebbles & shale. Carpark run by National Trust £5 for the day, short walk down a pretty lane to beach. Public toilets & a smashing dog friendly cafè/bar. Simply wonderful 5*

Beautiful place. Definitely glad we have discovered it. The beach is stunning! Sand is golden! Water crystal clear! There is also cafe just around the corner literally seconds away. Unfortunately it was closed on the day that we went but I can only imagine how busy it must get on a beautiful sunny day. There are also nice walks on the surrounding cliffs so there is also that if seating on the beach is not your thing.

We have visited many beaches on the Llyn Peninsula and this is our favourite.

The golden sand is beautiful. The beach slopes gradually into the sea, ideal for children to enjoy the sea safely. Please note however, there is no life guard at this beach.

At both ends of the beach there a rocks which create lots of rock pools with great interest.

The Welsh Coastal path runs past this beach.

The beach has an excellent cafe and toilets. A National Trust Car Park is at the top of a steep hill.

Beautiful beach! We went in the early 90’s when our children were little. Went back last week with our Eldest daughter who’s now 36 with her two children. They loved it!
The only thing that’s changed is that they now have toilets at the bottom of the hill which is a bonus, and the shop on the beach sells alot more on the menu.

Beautiful beach, white sand clear water and amazing views of the cliffs. This beach also has a cafe and four toilets which is very helpful. The sea water is very cold though so you may find that you can’t swim in it properly even on a hot day. But there’s still so much to see and do especially if you climb up to see the surrounding views from the cliffs. I would definitely recommend coming here since it feels like you’re abroad.

Absolutely stunning beach especially if the sun is shining. I visited here mid week at the end of June, the car park is spacious and costs £5 for the day with 2 x toilets which were very clean, unfortunately there is no alternative to pay for a short stay (it is definitely worth the fee even for a short visit as it’s owned by the National Trust). There is a steep path which you have to walk down that leads towards the beach, there is a cafe on the beach which was open & more additional toilets on the path that leads down. The beach was sandy & the sea was very calm & clear, there were a few people sunbathing as it’s a sheltered bay so perfect for catching the rays. Be sure to take what you need from the car as the walk back to the car park means you have to go back up the steep path. It wasn’t busy and a very tranquil spot, you could easily mistake this for being overseas with the beautiful scenery & crystal clear blue waters.

Look at THAT Beauty! This is an amazing beach with an amazing view. Its very quiet in the morning (at least when i was there), although a bit rocky its such a calm place to be just like any other beach. To get there its a 5min walk on the sand(from the car park) and it can be though😅 There’s a pay&park but also just a few meters along the road a few spots weren’t marked as one so we didn’t pay and we stayed for the night aswell.

Great beach! Mix of sand & stone but what a lovely place & brilliant for the dogs (certain area though but still a huge stretch for them to explore). Plenty of parking. Thumbs up from us!

Very reasonable £5 all day parking. Clear water for good swimming. Excellent rock stacking and some sandy beach.

Similar to the beaches in Devon and Cornwall. The inland scenery even looks like the West Country, but with the added bonus of mountains and Snowdonia just up the road. The beach felt like being at the land’s end of Wales.

Aberdaron was the find of my holiday. Yes it’s remoteness means you are driving down narrow twisty lanes but boy is it worth it.

The place is a gem, I was totally blown away with how beautiful it was, think I left my heart there.

Views of Bardsey Islands from the beach.

Had dinner at Hen Blas Crafts & Cafe, ordered a coffee and Scampi with chips. Highly reccomend as the food was delicious. Also popped into Siop Ken which has delicious ice creams.

Good parking, and reasonable price. On a better weather day it would be an excellent place to relax on the beach and do some body boarding. Plenty of little shops, cafes and ice cream places. Lovely little church. Shame it was blowing 60mph when we went for a look.

It’s a gorgeous spot and usually pretty quiet compared to some of the other local beaches. There is a small walk to get there from the car park and it’s not one to go to you if you need to take a pushchair or wheelchair. Otherwise it’s glorious.

I’ve been visiting this beach for years and it never fails to take my breath away. The view is stunning and its always a hit with the paddle boarding.
Decent facilities and close to the town centre which makes it ideal for a day of fun on the beach when in Abersoch.

Abersoch beach was lovely and clean, well worth a visit.
The town, was small but interesting ,
There are lovely cottages available to rent, ours was through Air B&B
Plenty of lovely walks to local beaches.
Not many pubs about, or cafes, so need to take snacks with you….

Really lovely sand beach on the Welsh cost and you can spend good quality family day out if it is sunny and not too windy…
One ice cream shop on the beach and lot of bars and restaurants on 10 mins walk from beach….

Great short holiday at the last minute. If you get the weather it’s as good as anywhere. The last 3 time’s we’ve been the weather as been great . The beaches are beautiful and sandy. And the sea is lovely and blue . It’s a little expensive but a great place to visit. If you consider it’s only a drive away. And you don’t have to go on holiday by plane. I suppose it’s great value for money really.
