I’ve really enjoyed my time in Centered Recovery, it really teaches not only helpful ways to get sober but teaches you a whole new mindset to guide you in that way. Reid is a cool class it may take you a few classes for it to really kick in but he’s a very intellectual awoken man who is a great guy to learn from. Kristen has a great class, I like the way she allows the class to talk about whats going on that could be affecting them in their journey and goes from there to and lets us guide the way while also staying on the curriculum, which she can connect to specific things mentioned in class and guiding the class and suggesting great topics, books, authors, and videos!

So this program has radically changed every aspect of my life! The peace at which I can see every aspect of my life is profound . I believe the mindful approach to recovery should be a part of anyone’s long term plan. The staff and group leaders here are wonderful. They really care about all of the clients. The Summit Wellness Group is an intensive outpatient treatment center unique in the way it operates. They have a holistic approach to recovery that ensures everyone attending will create a treatment plan personalized to them. They work closely with clients throughout there time here as well as offer one of the best aftercare programs available.

The staff is thoughtful in their approach to addiction treatment and the facility is very comfortable. They spared no expense in creating a warm, safe environment that feels more like a home than a treatment center.

At The Summit Group, everyday is a new beginning. The group setting allowed me to open up to myself and others, who really care. The counsellors and staff are unique in the way that they are very knowledgeable about dealing with substance abuse, and are able to reach each individual on a personal level. The Summit provides an accountability structure that really works. The facility in Roswell is in an accessable location, and has an inspiring feel inside. I am comforted from the moment I walk in, greeted with a smile, to walking out with the feeling of ready to take on the day, knowing I have support. Most of all, I have have learned about myself in a way I couldnt get anywhere else. The focus on self-awareness and self-care has elevated my result in recovery, and should be taught in every school. I highly reccommend going to The Summit for treatment of substance abuse, and to better ones overall life experience.

I am a past client of The Summit Wellness Group. And let me tell you something, this place is far and away the best drug rehabilitation center I have ever been to. I’ve been in and out of rehabs all across Georgia for the last 2 decades. And Summit equipped me with the tools I need to make sure this is my LAST stay in rehab.

This place is special. From the timr I first talked to John, every staff member was great to me. I called them looking for alcohol detox. They got me taken care of and into an inpatient program after that.

Arriving at Summit I felt the love. From thr lady at the front desk to their amazing owner Bob. My therapist Kate walked me through a boatload of trauma. Their holistic programs room the edge off my anxiety while we delved into my deeper issues.

As a person in long term recovery, I’ve been to several different treatment programs over many years; Summit is the best I have experienced. They do not use old school “boot camp” “one size fits all” techniques, Rather, their holistic approach includes traditional 12-step and evidence based DBT/CBT talk therapies and non-traditional Eastern approaches such as mindfulness, yoga/meditation and mind-body connection therapies. The staff is amazing – very knowledgeable and skilled in treating addictions and compassionately committed to helping you create a personalized recovery plan. Highly recommend without reservation.

Purple has helped me realize that, as an addict and alcoholic, the ways I view myself and my experiences form the way I choose to live, are the root of the problems I experience, and are the reasons I choose to use. I inevitably become dependent on changing the way I feel through substance abuse when I run from the responsibility of tending to my emotional, physical, and spiritual states. Once I separate myself from drugs and alcohol, I can see that is why I use in the first place. Purple has helped me realize this and helps me perceive myself in a way that I can accept myself for who I am, my experiences for what they were, and understand that if I choose to actually do the work to better myself I can experience a better life without relying on substances to change the way I feel. Purple Recovery is unique. I am grateful that a co-worker told me about it and that my loved one was willing to go. A guy needs to want recovery and sobriety to succeed at Purple, but Purple knows how to make that happen! Active recovery (hiking, rappelling, camping, sports, outdoorsy active lifestyle) was important for my loved one. Purple understands that recovery is a process. Purple believes that “alumni” should give back and stay active in the Purple community.
