The Ranch was a life changing experience! The counselors and PFs are absolutely amazing. The skills and knowledge that they have is second to none. The atmosphere that the ranch provides is so inviting, there are so many different activities to help you branch out in your recovery. the chefs are 5 star and you will never be disappointed in the food. Top of the World Ranch was amazing spiritual journey for me. It allowed me to find my God again and gave me the tool necessary for sobriety. The food here is AMAZING! Travis is the best chef. I was able to make a comprehensive aftercare program and get into sober living here. I believe I have a great path started to continue a positive happy life. My life seemed absolutely hopeless and unmanageable. I’m like most people in that I didn’t want to go to rehab, I didn’t want to admit I had a problem. But having the courage to get help was the best choice I’ve ever made in my life. And I had heard very good things about Top of the World Ranch. I will add to that and say it was the best experience of my life. I am once again myself. Putting in effort to be happy is no longer a chore. It is worth it, I am worth it. If you find yourself, or a loved one, needing treatment for addiction (both substance and process addictions) or for mental health generally, I highly recommend The Ranch. The Program Facilitators and Clinical Staff are all adequately prepared to ensure that you’re taking the first steps into recovery with a solid foundation and a plan to move forward. Additionally, they provide continuing support for their clients – creating a community of support and compassion. The experiences available at The Ranch are well above any other treatment facility in the region. Top of the World Ranch was nothing short of a miracle. From the phenomenally, intelligent and caring Program Facilitator and care team, to our gourmet meals from our chefs, to the most true and genuine friendships made, and to the amazing activities and recreation we were able to do – it was FANTASTIC! Never did I ever think I would say I had so much fun in treatment and I did NOT want to leave. I gained so much self-love, personal growth, healing, a spiritual foundation, and newfound love for life. The PF staff CARE about their people and don’t make you feel like you’re nothing, or, a criminal, or a failure. I was able to find myself again, a joy for LIFE again, and the desire to better myself in my life ahead. I highly recommend going to this place, it was absolutely worth every penny and if I could I would go all over again. By far went to the right place. I cannot recommend this facility to anyone who is considering treatment, my experience was not positive. Their primary purpose and concern is to make as much money from each patient as possible then they push you into a sober living facility that is owned by the same people who own NIRC. I was here for 60 days and it coincided with their accreditation with the joint commission, that was their concern that superceded everyone else. The staff is notorious for being disorganized and “pass the buck” and don’t effectively communicate with each other. Emails won’t be returned neither will phone calls, especially if you are discharging or have discharged.
My discharge was a mess with nothing setup for me when I got back home. The only saving grace is suboxone that I was prescribed but only after finding out from another client, not a therapist or employee. So many services were not followed through after leaving.
The housing situation is ok, unless they cram 8 people with 1 shower and 2 toilets. The tech’s are hit or miss, some are better than others.
Overall they treat the clients like school kids with a strong emphasis on punishment for so many petty reasons. The clinical staff does not like straight men and its obvious. It boils down to squeezing as much $$ out of each “patient” and once that’s done, you’re on your own, next person in line. If they put the same effort in actually helping the clients instead of their petty authoritarianism it would be great. I’ll never go back though, nor would I recommend to anyone who has any substance abuse disorder. NIRC is just a money making racket, no big surprise there. My recovery is a result of my will and determination, it has very little with NIRC.

This has been the absolute best place for safe and healthy sharing in groups and in one on one sessions!!! Each and every one of the staff members is absolutely top notch!! From the front desk at the minute you walk in to the building you will be greeted with the warmest welcome from Tiffany, to admissions with nick and Wes, to housing with Allison, and the therapist and counselor are the true thread that pulls this all together with their actual love for their jobs, and their care for the people they come in contact with, they have a way to allow us to be the best we are able to be, and get us to want to push harder to overcome what we may be going through!! Housing is set up in such a way that it makes it seem like I’ve not left home! I originally planned for a 30 day stay, and extended two more week, just so I can get the most out of the my experience here!

This is my first time participating in a rehabilitation program and thus far, has been one of the best experiences of my life. Not only is the curriculum designed to teach you life long skills, it is lead by a team of highly qualified professionals that are very passionate and committed to helping you in your road to recovery! I have never experienced a team of individuals that come together in one cohesive group so compassionate, caring and determined to truly help others. If I could give this a ten star rating, I would. I have never met a more compassionate clinical team and leadership team that cares more about their clients. The staff goes above and beyond to help make recovery a priority and so that we can keep it long-term. There is no such thing as a perfect place, but NIR comes close. They know one way of recovery doesn’t work for everyone and they are willing and eager to work with how you come. If you fall, NIRC is waiting with open arms for you to come back. I would and do recommend this place to anyone wanting help.

This was the most wonderful experience! Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful. I was never able to stay sober before I went to Banyan. My therapist Jen was so easy to talk to and always had great advice. Housing was clean and comfortable along with the fact that staff there was awesome! Brad made the whole thing happen for me! I wouldn’t have done this without him. He was in constant touch with me before going in and has checked up on me afterwards. He really went above and beyond! Also Tanner calls me weekly to also check up me. I can’t say enough about this treatment center. I would recommend Banyan to anyone and everyone! Thank you Banyan for giving me my life back!

My sobriety date is 10-10-2000, I’ve volunteered at many different rehabs over the years. I was introduced to Banyan about 5 years ago. I’ve spoken at multiple meetings at the Naperville location. I’ve referred many people to this location, Brad Gerke the director of operations always goes above and beyond to help alcoholics and drug addicts find a way into recovery. Banyan has become my go to, when someone reaches out to me for help, looking to get into rehab. I feel they run a great program and really care about their patients. They have a really positive recovery environment, with a great success rate. Their staff really cares about your recovery, I will continue to refer anyone that is reaching out for help. I can’t say enough good things about Banyan Treatment Center.

The staff at Banyan will go out of their way to help those who take their treatment seriously. From intake to discharge someone will be at the patients’ side to help make the process and transition easy. They always keep the patients’ best interest at mind.
The staff from the housing techs, therapists, and the staff as a whole are all experienced. They have many resources right at their fingertips to help their patients succeed with their treatment plan.

Housing is well maintained and safe! Even Kent does a nice job😉!

I strongly recommended contacting them to at least get some more information about their program. What do you have to loose? This may be the phone call that saves your life👌

I arrived at Lincoln Recovery a broken man. I had developed a drinking problem that I could not conquer on my own, and I had to reach out to professionals for support.

The term “professional” is an understatement for the Lincoln Recovery staff and does not do them justice. The staff always treated with love and respect throughout the course of my treatment. As this was my first time in recovery, I didn’t know how much being treated like an adult rather than a prisoner truly means. That is until I heard some of the horror stories other patients had from previous facilities. Lincoln Recovery has their head on straight and their priorities in order. Their staff was always willing to lend an ear when I needed to talk, to provide council when my path was covered in fog, and to give a hug when I needed support. Their team of Therapists provide a wealth of experience and a variety of therapy styles. Each patient is unique, and this allowed them to ensure that they have something that would speak to everyone. Some, such as myself, found the Yoga and Mindful Meditation sessions to be extremely helpful. Others found the lively group therapy sessions to be what helped them the most. There was something for everyone, and the Executive Director was always willing to accept advise on what else they could be doing to support me and my peers.

The food provided… Cannot be described with sufficient glory to fully encapsulate its divine splendor. The Kitchen Staff knows their way around seasoning, flavor, and variety. I had to rapidly develop willpower just to prevent myself from returning home 20 pounds heavier than I arrived. Jokes aside, I don’t believe I’ve ever eaten this well for such an extent of time before in my life. Leaving these gourmet meals behind was one of the hardest decisions of my life.

The facility itself was immaculate, far larger and more accommodating than I had pictured in my mind. It felt more like I was staying in a 4 star resort rather than a recovery center. The lake, the pool, the pool table, the exercise equipment… all played a pivotal role in my recovery. The group outings were a blast, and helped prepare me for reintegration in to the real world.

Lincoln Recovery provided me with knowledge and understanding of my addiction as well as the tools to combat it going forward. I have a greater understanding of myself than I have ever experienced before in my life. They helped restore my sense of pride and self-worth. Sometimes we need help, and Lincoln Recovery knows how to provide it.

I was here 90 days ago, and this place is so good o came back a second time. The ability to choose your own recovery is amazing! You can choose between smart recovery, AA, NA. Not a lot of facilities offer this vast service. The management staff is AMAZING! They’re always available to help you if you have any issues. The groups are well thought out to engage each patient in the recovery experience! Sue my therapist is so amazing I was assigned to her a second time. She really cares about each and every client! Not only the client but their family as well! They do family sessions which not only helps the client heal, but also the entire family surrounding the recovery process. The facility has private rooms, volleyball, surrounded by nature, indoor pool….I could go on forever….There is always something to do. I’ve seen several negative reviews. Those in my two 90 day opportunities are here that have left negative reviews and are complaining about being asked to leave had several opportunities before they were asked to leave. This facility is very flexible and works with all different backgrounds, and personalities and provides a program exclusive to each individual client! I love this place. I’m on my third week of my second stay, and can’t express enough how much I love the facility, staff, and other clients! I hope this helps you in planning your visit to Lincoln Recovery!!!

Lincoln Recovery saved my life. I highly recommend Lincoln if you need help with addiction. I also recommend doing 60 or 90 days if you can. It really makes a difference. The staff here is AMAZING!!! Each and every staff member honestly cares about all of the clients. The therapists here also facilitate the groups. They are all great and bring different perspectives to group topics. Special shout out to my therapist Brandi who has helped me change my life. The clients are great and we all get along well together. There are life long bonds that are created here. If you come in afraid there will be people who will come to you and help you and comfort you whether it’s staff or other clients. Jeremy, the executive director, is always willing to hear suggestions and ideas to make things better. Clients opinions matter. A lot of the staff is in recovery as well so they know what we are going through. There are different events that they do to have fun too. They really make it as homey as possible. You get your own room/bathroom and the beds are super comfortable. They make 2 runs a week to Walmart and a smoke shop and you can order from Amazon. Cody, the chef, and the kitchen staff are great and they are extremely accommodating. Alice is the most amazing baker! I have been here for 88 days and am leaving in 2 days. It is very bittersweet as I will miss all of the wonderful people here. I have had a great experience here and I am eternally grateful for this place.

This is an exceptional place to put your life back in order. Having your own room and your phone is a bonus. What’s different is your in group with the same people 6 times a day and that allows you a better chance to trust and open up. This place has changed my life and is leaps and bounds better than any other facility and I know because I’ve been to quite a few. The group facilitators are professional people, not just someone with a year sober. My fmla and disability was handled properly by my clinician. If you are truly ready to change not only your life but the lives of your family, don’t settle for less than you deserve. Now I can only speak for Lincoln Recovery in Illinois but I’m sure the other ones are just as efficient. Thank you for everything.

I just returned from Lincoln a few days ago. It was a tough decision to check myself into Rehab but Lincoln was the right choice for me. The model offered by the Lincoln Team in terms of its recovery strategy works if you commit yourself to working the program. The Staff is tremendous!! Everyone I met was compassionate and kind and routinely went above and beyond to help me. My counselor Elizabeth was tremendous and really took an interest in my health and recovery plan. The freedom and privacy they offer their clients are unmatched in my opinion, all they ask is that you act like an adult. The facility having been a hotel prior to being a rehab facility clearly caters itself to the clients. The location itself allows a quiet environment in which I was able to focus on my sobriety and recovery. God willing I will not relapse but if I do I know the Lincoln Team will be there for me and that offers a piece of mind you can’t put a price tag on. Pat Cullum.
