I am very fortunate to be the Administrator of Columbus Health and Rehab. The team here is amazing. This has been one of the most challenging years in my career., but working with the sraff in this community and watching them love, nurture, and protect our residents during a pandemic has strongly reminded me of why i became a nurse in the first place. This is the best team EVER!!By Sue Herron (a year ago)Columbus Health and Rehab is a great place to work! I truly believe we take great care of our residents. Our team is outstanding! We have lots of fun here! Instead of feeling like I am at work, it feels like I am hanging out with family and friends!By Angela Hocking (4 years ago)Both my mother and father have been cared for at the Columbus Health and Rehab and I am very pleased with their support. Specifically: the staff is “consistent” over time – we know who will be working with family members – there is minimal turnover. The consistency is so important to those who are already experiencing physical, mental, social, and emotional trauma. Additionally: the therapists are excellent and work diligently to reach established goals; the nurses are experienced, kind, and considerate – and bring their A game every day/night; the assistants are personable and supportive, getting to know residents and meet their needs; the social worker is thorough and supportive. Everyone has done everything possible to keep the environment healthy and safe during COVID. They test regularly and screen everyone entering every day/night. This is a challenging job at any time, but particularly difficult during COVID 19 and the facility is going above and beyond to keep residents and employees safe and healthy. Thank you!By Shelley Joan Weiss (2 years ago)As a retired minister who has visited church members and family in many dozens of health care centers, nursing homes, hospital rehab facilities, etc. in 8 states over 50 years, I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience these past 16 months while visiting my mother-in-law in this unique setting of loving care.
Loving Care is exemplified from the women who clean the rooms, vacuum the floors, and take out the trash, to the Administrator AND everyone else: the cooks, rehab folks, CNAs, nurses, aides, department leaders, and volunteers. Each one personally related to Mom with respect, dignity, understanding and joy.
All of these folks looked after us, Mom’s family in the same way. The regular staff meetings always had clear communication, a helpful process for meeting goals and listening to any questions, and follow through. The staff accommodated our needs and requests at every turn.
The facility is beautiful, including a special floor to ceiling “window” of glorious birches, and always very clean. There are a variety of comfortable spaces for family gatherings and meals, games, puzzles, or just hanging out.
Columbus Health and Rehab has a FIVE STAR rating for all the right reasons, it is truly THE BEST of all such facilities I have visited in my adult life.By Bill Kaseman (3 years ago)I love working here simply because the care is fantastic! Care is certainly focused on what the residents want and what their goals are. It is a nice updated building with very intelligent nurses, caring CNA’s, and a therapy department that can’t be beat.By Rachel Shunk (4 years ago)

I like WIN Drug & Alcohol Recovery Rehabilitation Center because it provides a holistic and evidence-based approach to addiction treatment.
Their treatment program includes individual and group counseling, family therapy, 12-step meetings, experiential therapies such as yoga and meditation, and medication management. They also offer aftercare services to help patients maintain their sobriety after completing treatment.
By Rodney Sisk (10 months ago)I had a great experience at WIN Drug and Alcohol Recovery Rehabilitation Center. It’s a beautiful place and the staff are so caring and compassionate. WisHope saved my life. The best program for recovery that I have been in. The staff is amazing and you can tell that everyone really cares and wants its clients to lead healthy, happy lives. I would not hesitate to recommend WisHope to anyone looking to recover from an alcohol or drug addiction.By Chris Mallinger (6 months ago)Wishope save my life. Thank you so much to the never-ending care received from the housing team. And the unwavering belief, immense support, and care of the clinical team. Without Wishope I would still be a shell of my former self. With the help from all of the staff I was able to become someone that I believed was lost long ago. Thank you from the bottom of my heartBy NICK TAYLOR (9 months ago)I have tried a number of solutions in my battle with Alcoholism. I finally decided what was best for me was to commit to full time work on improving myself and my situation. It’s not easy, but when you have very supportive Counselors that make a serious effort to understand you as a person you get a good feeling your not there all by yourself. The staff works so hard to try and understand each person and customizes treatment accordingly. I would highly recommend Wis Hope to anyone that is ready to seek helpBy Robert Kleinertz (a year ago)They have always been there for me! If it wasn’t for wis hope I don’t think I would have made it!By Gabriel Becker (3 months ago)This is by far one of the best recovery establishments that I’ve seen, the people at WisHope not only care, but they go the extra mile for those involved in the programs. My life has been touched by these people, I couldn’t thank them enough for the life lessons I’ve received. Thanks WisHope!By Jason Huizenga (2 years ago)

Serenity Inn is the ideal place for recovery from active addiction. Of all the counselors I’ve encountered in my struggle with addiction, Ms. Ellen and Lionel are the two most caring, dedicated, loving counselors I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. At Serenity Inn you are not just a client you are family. Struggling to maintain your sobriety – no worries because once you become a part of the Serenity Inn family you always have a shoulder to lean on. Of all the treatment centers I’ve been to over the years Serenity Inn is the best most effective one. Love.By shanon ransaw (5 years ago)“I’ve been through rehab several times and none of them is like this place. Serenity has something special going on.”–a resident of Serenity Inn, Milwaukee.
We have heard this sentiment expressed over and over again as we continue into an eleventh year of hosting men in recovery from alcohol and drug addictions.
Places like Serenity are few and far between but need to be replicated over and over again to begin to take seriously the value that quality recovery programs have for the residents and the community.
By Rick Deines (7 years ago)Serenity Inns has a great program for those in need. Aside from a well structured recovery program Serenity Inns offers a warm loving environment which allows their members to work even harder towards their goals. Keep up the great work Serenity Inns!By Vince McMurtry (5 years ago)As someone who has volunteered and brought food to drug addiction recovery centers all over the United States I am touched by the dedication I’ve seen at Serenity Inns and the purposeful attention to community. It’s wonderful to experience every time I drop off dinner for the warm and welcoming clients.By Susan “Sueno” Holty (5 years ago)By Melvon L. Carter (5 years ago)

I would recommend this facility to anyone. Great care and compassion shown. Excellent experience being there when recouping from a double knee replacement.By Bonnie Price (5 years ago)My fiance has been there. Every time we go visit we are accommodated and staff is definitely delightful. When the time comes for me to be in a home I would definitely choose here. Thank you for taking care of our loved one so we’ll.By Mom4home Always (a year ago)Nice looking facility, excellent rehab and quality nursing and food. My dad stayed there in 2017 and 2018 for orthopedic procedures. The first time, he was pleasantly surprised the food was good and liked the food the second time too. The aides and nurses on the rehab wing were great. He really liked the PT and OT he worked with and was glad for good equipment in the rehab gym. The therapy really helped him regain his independence. Thank you!By Heather R (3 years ago)My aunt has stayed here and based off that she loves it here, staff are always super nice. Only flaw is you eat on styrofoam instead of paper plates or actual dishes. Nice place but bad plates. I would recommend going here.By Mickanzy Buth (a year ago)I dropped my dad off to visit my mom, and brought supper for both. The dining staff was so friendly, especially Raquel, who made certain we had utensils, napkins and coffee. They are always so kind and typically anticipate if we need anything sitting out visitsBy Leah Kappelman (3 years ago)
