Both my mother and father have been cared for at the Columbus Health and Rehab and I am very pleased with their support. Specifically: the staff is “consistent” over time – we know who will be working with family members – there is minimal turnover. The consistency is so important to those who are already experiencing physical, mental, social, and emotional trauma. Additionally: the therapists are excellent and work diligently to reach established goals; the nurses are experienced, kind, and considerate – and bring their A game every day/night; the assistants are personable and supportive, getting to know residents and meet their needs; the social worker is thorough and supportive. Everyone has done everything possible to keep the environment healthy and safe during COVID. They test regularly and screen everyone entering every day/night. This is a challenging job at any time, but particularly difficult during COVID 19 and the facility is going above and beyond to keep residents and employees safe and healthy. Thank you!

As a retired minister who has visited church members and family in many dozens of health care centers, nursing homes, hospital rehab facilities, etc. in 8 states over 50 years, I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience these past 16 months while visiting my mother-in-law in this unique setting of loving care.
Loving Care is exemplified from the women who clean the rooms, vacuum the floors, and take out the trash, to the Administrator AND everyone else: the cooks, rehab folks, CNAs, nurses, aides, department leaders, and volunteers. Each one personally related to Mom with respect, dignity, understanding and joy.
All of these folks looked after us, Mom’s family in the same way. The regular staff meetings always had clear communication, a helpful process for meeting goals and listening to any questions, and follow through. The staff accommodated our needs and requests at every turn.
The facility is beautiful, including a special floor to ceiling “window” of glorious birches, and always very clean. There are a variety of comfortable spaces for family gatherings and meals, games, puzzles, or just hanging out.
Columbus Health and Rehab has a FIVE STAR rating for all the right reasons, it is truly THE BEST of all such facilities I have visited in my adult life.

I love working here simply because the care is fantastic! Care is certainly focused on what the residents want and what their goals are. It is a nice updated building with very intelligent nurses, caring CNA’s, and a therapy department that can’t be beat.

I have tried a number of solutions in my battle with Alcoholism. I finally decided what was best for me was to commit to full time work on improving myself and my situation. It’s not easy, but when you have very supportive Counselors that make a serious effort to understand you as a person you get a good feeling your not there all by yourself. The staff works so hard to try and understand each person and customizes treatment accordingly. I would highly recommend Wis Hope to anyone that is ready to seek help

Of all the counselors I’ve encountered in my struggle with addiction, Ms. Ellen and Lionel are the two most caring, dedicated, loving counselors I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. At Serenity Inn you are not just a client you are family. Nice looking facility, excellent rehab and quality nursing and food. My dad stayed there in 2017 and 2018 for orthopedic procedures. The first time, he was pleasantly surprised the food was good and liked the food the second time too. The aides and nurses on the rehab wing were great. He really liked the PT and OT he worked with and was glad for good equipment in the rehab gym. The therapy really helped him regain his independence. Thank you!

My aunt has stayed here and based off that she loves it here, staff are always super nice. Only flaw is you eat on styrofoam instead of paper plates or actual dishes. Nice place but bad plates. I would recommend going here.

I dropped my dad off to visit my mom, and brought supper for both. The dining staff was so friendly, especially Raquel, who made certain we had utensils, napkins and coffee. They are always so kind and typically anticipate if we need anything sitting out visits
