Love Exmouth beach, I’ve been coming to sandy Bay for the past 5 years with my little family. Im telling you, that, every year is as exciting as the first time.
Great beach and plenty of fun things to do.I would recommend Exmouth Beach to any and everyone.
By Onika Venus (4 months ago)Beautiful huge clean beach with so much space. You’ll never feel crammed in or too close to another group. There’s an amazing ice cream bar just off the beach with so many flavours your spoilt for choice. Definitely a must visit.By charlotte penny (7 months ago)Beautiful sandy beach with far reaching views across the bay of Exmouth.
Perfect conditions for kite-surfing and wind surfers. Scenic coastal walks along Jurassic Coast.By Angela Burt (2 months ago)I struggle with walking, and it was so nice to be able to park so close. They had some brick built shelters on the beach front so I could sit out of the wind and soak up the beautiful views. I would think that it could be very busy in summer. With its lovely soft sand and cafes etc.By Gillian Hollingsworth (8 months ago)A definite favourite, cheap and convenient parking compared to a lot of beaches in the south west. Easy to access, clean, great for swimming and nearby facilities. Overnight parking is also available which is great for campervans.By Ben Squires (4 months ago)

A nice place for a visit and to walk the dogs. The beach is sandy and we walked to Sandy Beach along the beach, 2 miles and back again. From 1st May to 30th Sep no dogs on the beach. Still it’s a lovely walk but do be aware of the tide if you walk to Sandy Beach and back. If you get caught then use the route over the cliffs.By Desmond Boyle (2 months ago)Lovely quiet beach day here, long stay parking was £8 for the day, which I thought was good value, various places available for food, drinks and ice cream. Highly recommend the fresh donuts and smoothies at the octogon.By Terri Costello (5 months ago)Always love visiting Exmouth Beach. Beautiful walk along the beach and promenade. Definitely recommend buying an ice cream from Sea Shore Ice creamery best ice cream I’ve ever hadBy Louise Glen (8 months ago)Simply stunning and beautiful. Walked to Sandy Bay and back….. so pretty and well worth the viewsBy Angela Levitt (10 months ago)Nice view on this beach, but unfortunately the sand is mixed with algae, tree branches, rocks and other stuff, not properly maintained and cleaned and it is only used for people to walk their dogs.By Immanuel D (9 months ago)

I often walked past there especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, with members of my household during lockdown restrictions. I first walked past there in 2014, when I moved over to Exmouth. It is a lovely beach, and in recent years, the “Pirate Cove” was put on the beach, using the rocks by a local resident.By Luke Eveleigh (2 years ago)A great inter-tidal area near the mouth of the Exe estuary. A large expanse for walking (and dog walking) for 3-4 hours either side of low tide. Mostly sand, though can be muddy in places. Further round there’s also a small choice which is great for kids to play in.By Tim Jennings (a year ago)Lovely beach with views over the estuary to Dawlish Warren, Starcross, Powderham and up the river to Exeter.
Perfect for children and dogs, just watch out for the jellyfish!By Pauline (3 years ago)Unspoilt , disabled walkway above, slipway for launching. Fast tide when in, lots of sandbanks when tide out. Nice shore fishingBy Jane Jackson (3 years ago)This is a lovely spot to catch a sunset and do water sportsBy Guy Southard (a year ago)

Great beach, stayed in the haven and walked along a few times along the beach and back on the coastal path. Seems to be a popular beach to take your dog.
We stayed at Haven Devon Cliffs 1st weekend in April 2022.
Walked along this lovely beach as the tide was on the way out.
We’ve been in various months over the years and always get some fantastic photos in the sun, wind and rain!
Lovely clean beach
Beautiful safe beach! Definitely worth the visit.
Saw another reviewer that mentioned how this beautiful beach was obstructed by the caravan park and I couldn’t agree more. Really disappointed and too close to the beach too. It felt like a private beach for people staying there…i would not want to return and if you’re not staying at the holiday park you are better off at Exmouth Beach or somewhere else.
Nice beautiful sandy beach. Good facilities including showers. Its a bit of downhill walk on the ramp same on the way back. Good place for family picnic.
