Had fun relaxing on the beach, took an awesome train ride, killed zombies and lots more fun at the arcade, found unique merchandise at the gift shops, rented a pontoon boat and played cards…lawn darts….and beanbag toss. Looking forward to next year!By Sonja Stefan (a year ago)Visit this place every year for Laconia Bike Week. Good beach for walking and wading. Adequate parking and plenty of space to social distance around low tide. Beautiful rocks and sand. Saw a lot of surfers but not many waves when we went.By Max Pham (2 years ago)Quite challenging to find parking (but once we find one, it was affordable) and was a little crowded. The beach was full of rocks so when in the water the waves would slam decent sized rocks into our feet and ankles. It was a bit painful! BUT we still had fun just for the fact that it is a beach.By Kate H (4 years ago)North Beach is where I have always gone since I was a child in the 70’s. It has a fond place in my heart because of this. This beach isn’t for everyone; there is typically a lot of seaweed on the beach, it is rocky in areas, and you often have to cram in tight at high tide. However, as a child, I loved it because my brother and I would be scrambling around on the rocks all day searching for all kinds of sea life, fishing, and snorkeling. There is also a public bath house on this beach which is very convenient.By bradley desfosses (2 years ago)Hampton Beach 🏖️ is such a beautiful place. It’s great to visit all year long. A great beach in the summer!
Activities, concerts, great seafood, bustling boardwalk!
I particularly enjoy the off season…. The horses are able to walk along the ocean
You can also walk your dog on the beach.
The tides are also higher this time of year.
Love being able to spend time at Hampton Beach…any time of the year!
Very nice beach…great wave action and on particularly good days is popular with surfers! Almost like two beaches actually– sandy and great for swimming to the south, and rocky and made for exploring to the north. Sidenote: very, very popular for walking dogs…I like dogs as much as the next person though like happens so many place they get a bad rep b/c of inconsiderate owners who don’t pick-up after them.
I’ve been here so many times I’ve lost count. Great beach for family, if you want sun, swim, play, or exploring the rocks. The boardwalk has everything you could ask for, all the “family beach food” and clubs, stores, and arcades. Parking can be difficult on sunny days so come early or expect to drive around a couple times. This trip was for the yearly sandcastle contest, highly recommend if you’ve never seen it
This is one of my favorite beaches. Been here like 5 times. The plus also about this beach is the boardwalk with many things to do. For kids and adults. One things I could see that has change is the parking lot charge. It is no longer a one time fee for the entire stay at the beach. I went a weekend ago and have to pay twice $12 dollars. Also food value super super expensive. Paid $71 dollars for 3 people. Chicken tenders w fries, BLT wrap, and breaded shrimp with fries. The flavors were not that appetizing either. But the suggestion is to bring your own food and enjoy the beautiful beach. Love also that is a light clean sand. Water of course warmer than the Maine beaches. I will go one more time before the warm weather is gone. Great to pick some shells.
Arrived late afternoon, on a Tuesday. Easy parking, not too much of a crowd. Bathrooms were clean. Kids had a blast wading into the water and playing in the sand. We had not intended to stop, so luckily there were expensive souvenirs shops across the street to grab clean T-shirt’s 🤣
