  1. I love this town and the beach it has to offer! The little coastal town is perfect. Has little shops and coffee, Icecream and the friendliness lady that works at the red caboose that can give you better info on the town and things to do then any app you can find on line. My favorite beach in the Oregon coast .

  2. Well I had a great time Rockaway beach today! I listed a beautiful lot for list 59k and now want to buy it! This place is that great
.a way under rated beach. Don’t drive by. Stop and enjoy! It is awesome with lots to enjoy too!

  3. RB is great for any age… There’s just enough to do so there’s more than JUST the beach. Great food *we recommend OFFSHORE BAR & GRILL, OWNED BT JAKE AND MICHELLE BURDEN). We lived here for 1 year and wish to go back every day.

  4. Lots of beautiful beaches in the area. Came on a Wednesday afternoon and had the beach to ourselves. We really enjoyed the peaceful walk and beautiful views. My new go to beach near tillamook.

  5. Rockaway Beach is one of my favorite areas on the beautiful Oregon coast. The beach is ginormous. Even in the busy season, I can walk along the shore undisturbed. At night it’s so peaceful. Not a lot of rowdy crowds (they go to the larger beachtowns) so it’s the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The shops are fun, and there is a phenomenal bakery you can’t miss!

This place is lovely. I’ve been coming here for years. The beach is great to walk on and has some great tide pools. There are also plenty of trails to hike. It’s tucked away down the road in Ecola State Park in Cannon Beach.

Great ocean beach! To get there, you take a 1.5 mile road at the main gate. This road is narrow and windy. Sketchy situations at times with cars going both directions. It’s worth the drive though! Take it slow.

Very clean. I didn’t see any litter on the beach or by the parking area. Wasn’t too packed when we visited on a Sunday, even though Cannon Beach was crazy busy.

If you get too hot and don’t have a sunshade, head back to the wooden steps and about 20 feet up from the beach is a slightly hidden picnic table completely shaded from short trees.

This was my first trip to the west coast and the Pacific Ocean and Jim and Michelle of the Happy Rock Inn pointed me in the direction of Indian Beach and I was completely blown away! Absolutely beautiful scenery and wildlife! A must visit if in Oregon.

So beautiful, watch out for closed trails. Some unstable areas, but getting down to the beach is fairly easy.

Popular beach amongst the surfers but cold water! Relaxing with great views plus a hiking trail near by. $5 to park

First time going today! I’m comfortable being nude myself and don’t care if others are. My first time being nude in front of everyone and it wasn’t that bad!! Had some great spots to get a tan, tons of people today since it was great weather and a weekend. Never felt so free in my life. Swimming nude was first and just letting everything out was so freeing! Love this place, now my favorite! Don’t be shy! Show off your body! 🙂 tons of mosquitoes though! Haha. Best swim ever. Laying in the sun naked is now my favorite thing to do, the breeze was perfect! 🙂

Visited in January but it was still super cool. Lots to check out, and we saw the famous Sauvie Island UFO! Giving it 4 stars because payment is required for parking 🙁

It’s always nice to go somewhere you don’t have to worry about what to wear. Especially when the destination is clothing optional. It’s a beautiful beach that stretches several miles only the end where this is located is considered clothing optional. Lots of places to set up your spot. Make sure to get the parking permit when you arrive to the island. Don’t forget the sunscreen and sometimes bug spray. It is outdoors after all.

This place used to be amazing until they passed the ban. It was a place to experience true freedom. Now the beach is regularly monitored and they are constantly looking for violations and also using that as an excuse to target the community at the last entrance. Be careful out there and consider going to Rooster Rock instead (at least in August/September).

Great beach, be open to seeing lots of nude folks. Its pretty close to Portland and parking was very easy the day I went. Please note, you do need a permit which can be purchased at a store you pass by (details on the park website) or online, which is what I did since I had no clue about parking until I arrived. Easy access to beach from parking lot and a nice stroll through some woods to get there which also provides more privacy for the nude sunbathers. Plenty of space to spread out which is excellent during covid. As a single female on the beach, I felt very safe both while catching some sun and also when leaving my stuff on the beach to go for a swim. Highly recommend!
