  1. Going to Virginia Beach in February was peaceful but not everything was open for business. Beautiful beach with some cute souvenir shops open. I would def go back when everything is open to truly experience it fully. It is very peaceful and the boardwalk is very nice and kept up.

  2. Miles of beautiful beach with boardwalk and has some interesting architects along the way. We went during the off-season to avoid the crowds. It’s a great beach for a family vacation. Love the fishing piers and Neptune’s Statue.

  3. Today was a lovely day to be at the beach. This was my 1st time on this beach and I loved it! This beach is very clean and is close all restaurants and a fair where you can take kids to ride rides. They also have a lot of shops with great prices on shirts and stuff. They have smoke shops that sell delta 8 beer and wine. This is a great place for the family or if you want to take a couples trip or girls trip!!

  4. This beach was so nice. The waves are amazing and the water wasn’t freezing. The beach was pretty clean too. The view was priceless. There are a lot jets that constantly pass through this area and they are loud so if you’re going to just relax be prepared for that disturbance on a constant throughout the day. I would definitely vacation in Virginia Beach again.

  5. Beach was not nearly as clean as we had hoped. Lots of seaweed which I guess can’t be controlled but the amount of garbage mixed in with the seaweed was pretty disappointing. All in all though still not a bad place to spend an afternoon. I just personally the cleaners beaches of the Carolina Coast a couple hours drive South. We did really enjoy the boardwalk and ferris wheel.

Awesome beach, they have parking, public bathrooms, restaurants, shops and all kinds of events happening on Saturdays. Well worth the trip! The water temperature is great and once you’ve been in the sun for awhile you certainly want to dive right in!

I like it very much, all clean cook out area, fishing area, some restaurants if you like to buy some food, boardwalk, nice small town and it isn’t to crowd.

Took my mother and aunt to the beach. They really love the beach. The best thing about this one is that I got a chance to park close to the ocean front so they didn’t have to walk far to enjoy sitting in the sand and collecting seashells.

Nice beach. Well maintained. Not super crowded. Some streets have a planked walkways to make it easier to get your stuff on and off the beach. Pretty easy to find parking. No meters.

Gorgeous clean beach, not very crowded, very private. Loved it! Cell service sucks here though

This beach is so beautiful and the water is so much clearer than VA Beach. The water felt much cooler than VA Beach but it also got deeper faster so that could be the reason for the cooler water temperature. It’s not as crowded as VA Beach either. We found so many shells that were fully in tact and my family and I had so much fun here! I’m glad we took the trip from the board walk to check it out. It’s less crowded than VA Beach and was worth the 30 minute drive!! There was even a young man walking down the beach selling slices of pizza for a lot cheaper than the boardwalk.

This is still within the city limits, but a nice quiet area compared to downtown Virginia Beach. There is a compromise though. It’s mainly a residential area with beach home rentals and very few commercial establishments. One restaurant, a small grocery, an ice cream store, & a few small beach shops. Parking is directly across the street from the beach and there’s a bath house. September rate for all day parking is $5 for non residents. You can find free parking along the road, but you don’t have restrooms or any other amenities and on weekends or during tourist season, they fill up fast. There are no gas stations within several miles, so make sure you have enough in your tank to get back towards the city.
