  1. Beautiful location for a gentle, flat walk from the car park to beach area. You can walk on a grassy path or a concrete path that runs the length of the walk. Each way takes about 40 minutes – be aware there are no toilets on route or at the beach. Great views of the cottages and of course the cliffs of the South Downs. The car park is really busy – we arrive at 10.00am or earlier, at peak times you will find it getting full at this time.

  2. I love it here. It’s one of my favourite places to be. Never crowded & easy to find a quiet spot to yourself. Stunning views. A beautiful place to watch the sunset & the moonrise☀️🧘‍♂️🌊
It’s a 30ish minute walk from either car park or bus stop & Well worth it. Don’t park at the Barn carpark if you’re unstable on your feet I would say…

  3. Great place with pebble beach to visit in the summertime. There is a carpark and other facilities about 2km from the beach

  4. Wonderful view to cliffs and sea, beautiful place to explore and to enjoy your time at the beach. Free car park not so far from it.

Eastbourne beach . A pretty place and lots of walking can be done. Not a bad shopping centre and you can visit the marina although quite a distance from town though it can be reached via the super long parade walk. You can visit the Downs which are equally fabulous with a few eateries and fantastic views. Plenty of places to sit and ride a bike. A fab English resort. Would be even better if there were more seafront cafes and restaurants.very beautiful views

Although the beech is pebbles its still fantastic as its long and filled with plenty of good summer and winter spots to chill relax. The walk to the harbour is very pleasant with plenty of stop off points and public toilets. A definite 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Good place winter or summer. There were things going on in the park when I visited in February. Long walks along the front and of course the beach and sea. Victorian pier with good tea room.

Bexhill has a lovely seafront, but the beach is pebbly and not that pleasant to walk on barefoot 🤣 On the seafront you’ll find some places to get a drink or an ice cream. There are toilets as well. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the beach walking from Bexhill railway station.

We enjoy a lot of dog walks off of ravenside beach! The kids love climbing on the rocks in low tide. It’s just super unfortunate that it can’t be enjoyed at all times due to the amount of sewage that is off loaded into the sea making it not safe to visit.

Beautiful, so quiet always have a big section of the beach to ourselves everytime we have been. Pebble beach but when the tide is out there is sand, the tide goes out so far. The kids love it. So beautiful and peaceful.

It is very strange to stand on a beach full of stones, instead of sand. Personally, I wouldn’t have expected that so soon, but that’s what makes it fun. I had a nice walk on the beach and it is definitely worth a visit!

A large stoney beach with nice views. There is plenty of toilets and facilities. Beach is clean and well presented.

Beautiful places, long beaches , soft pebbles, tap water and public toilets available all around. Go for a nice trek walk to see and walk on the Seven Sister Cliffs

Brilliant place with amazing view, lovely to spend time with family and friends. Dog friendly. Water re-fill station. Bowls for dogs to drink water. Disabled access. Free car park.

Visited last year in the summer. Had a lovely time, the beach was beautiful and although it was a hot day it wasn’t overly crowded unlike beaches such as brighton would be. The seven sister cliffs are a very short walk and drive from the beach, you can either take a path going up or drive to the car park at the top and follow the trail, giving you magnificent views of a combination of countryside and coast. Loved it here will hope to come back. There’s a free seafront car park about a minute walk from the beach, and it’s just those little things which makes the experience more enjoyable.

Best beach getaway in this summer
Around 1.5 hours ride from London .
Theres is a cliff near which have a beautiful view pf seven sisters cliff as well .

It’s a beautiful beach. Stony though so wouldn’t recommend going in just like that because it literally hurts when you walk back or even stand in water after a while. Keep your stuff close and your footwear closer. There are a few colorful huts nearby. Some of them are also shops and some are probably up for rent. I guess u have a washroom also around but I personally did not use it so I don’t know if it still works or it’s just some signs.
Good for sunbathing and hanging out in general. Beautiful views and breathtaking scenery. It’s also the start of the hike from seaford to seven sisters.

You do have some hotels near by and a few places off road from beach with market and cafes and restaurants and eateries and pharmacy and etc etc shops.

People do swim a bit there but dint see a lot of people in the water.

Just 2-4min walk from train station. So one doesn’t need to walk a lot to get a good view of the sea. Water is clean and beautiful. Please do carry your sunscreen and bathing suit. If you’re going for the hike, I would suggest to start sooner when you have time so we get to rest on your way up the hike at intervals and click some amazing pictures while you are at it.

Have a good day and enjoy your trip to the beach.

The sand/ small rocks here are thinner than Hastings beach.

Beautiful scenery, large car park and it was great watching the seagulls dropping whelk shells from the air to get the whelks out when the tide was out.

Phenomenal. I’d say ‘must see’ while in Hastings. It almost feels like being in southern Texas.

Rock-A-Nore beach follows Rock-a-Nore road between the beach and the cliffs from the old town to the edge of the coast. Nice beach with lots to do and see. Two museums, an aquarium, some fishing boats and sheds with great views along the cliffs
    ✭✭✭✭ By T K (a year ago)
Rock-a-Nore is the uniquely named eastern end of Hastings where the road along the seafront and under the East Cliff ends.

The origin of the name is lost in the mists of time but J.M Baines, former curator of Hastings Museum and Hastings History Guru wrote in ‘Historic Hastings’ “In 1581 the enquiry into the Chantry Lands noted a shop or small building belonging to one William Creassye, ‘Iyinge to the Mayne Rocke against the north’

The beach itself is great for swimming but we went at the back of the cliffs exploring and found some of the most awesome rainforest places and waterfalls.
