  1. A lovely beach situated in a quaint little seaside resort. The beach is clean with golden sand. Dogs are allowed on the sand … our visit was in February… however, this may change in high season. The backdrop of cliffs and the pier jutting out to sea makes for lovely views.

  2. A stunning beach! The beach stretches for ages and it is a truly beautiful walk down the beach, whilst passing some beautiful wildlife along the way. The beach hits really add to the character and the views are simply stunning.

  3. Spent the hottest day in the history of UK at Whitby beach. Ended up being one of the best days of my life ☺️ highly recommended. Clean water and good facilities available

  4. Lovely place with some great views of the cliff sides! Went in September time but the temperature was thankfully good. Walked around in dress shoes as the Sand wasn’t too mucky and was easy to wipe off. A great place to go for a walk and have a picnic!

  5. Beautiful beach with lovely surroundings. We parked on the Abbey and walked down but by christ there is lots of steps, and itdoes test the fittest of people walking back up them later on! I have great calves, I was fine, yeah right…..
Great place for the kids to run about or make sandcastles and see some of the passing boats!
Some.of the sea walls have crumbled but you see within the ledges the years of corrosion and the history that is within it. Plenty of food places around the area.

After 2 years back for a short visit. But I love this place. Many many fond memories. Scarborough has two main seaside bays north and south bay. South bay hosts the main harbour local fishing community. Along with many amusements and food restaurants as well as souvenir shops.

Lovely place to visit. Nice and clean beach. Loads to do if you have kids, lots of cafes and restaurants to eat & drink. Or it’s just nice to go for a walk round with your dogs and have fish & chips then finish off with donuts on your way back to the car.

Lovely beach. Very clean. Sand lovely sea quite clear to. Parking good though would recommend getting there early to ensure a space specially while the schools are closed. Not a lot of toilets. Only in the harbour from what I’ve seen. Plenty of places to eat. Plenty of dog friendly restaurants to. Just keep your eyes open or ask.

Lovely beach. There’s one part if the beach which is near the harbour & amusements but that gets really busy. If you go towards the grand Hotel, it’s quieter there but the tide comes in quicker

I’ve been to a lot of beaches in the UK and still think South Beach is one of the best. And lucky to have this local to us too. Huge at low tide, great expanses of perfect sandcastle making sand, backed by sand dunes. A fabulous council run car park which is also a park and ride for the town (via bus or land train). Great toilet facilities and somewhere to get ice cream or a coffee too.

Was the best beach I have been to yet. The beach is split up into two parts one is dog friendly and the other is more family friendly. There are toilets located along the Promenade that are free! The beach is a lovely, sandy beach and didn’t find it too busy despite the sunny weather which came as a shock. There is a paddling pool area for young children located near the beach huts which i hadn’t seen at a beach before. Plenty of benches are dotted around the Promenade as well as ramps making it accessible to all. Had an amazing time 🙂

Vast expanse of dog friendly beach.

Good little cafe at the end of the promenade with a few tables.

The land train runs from here to the Spa.

But a nice stroll along the promenade past the chalets and children’s paddling pool.

First time in a long time I’ve visited Bridlington South Beach and what a pleasure it was! Clean, tidy and everybody just enjoying themselves as they should. The weather was beautiful and just a really relaxed atmosphere.

Took my Umbrella Cockatoo and he had a lovely time too!

Will be returning this weekend ❤️

Amazing place, the beach is very clean and we had lots of fun in there. I went on a sunny day so it was beautiful experience. If it is a full moon day by evening the tides become very long and the water would come till the entrance of the beach 🏝.
Having a hot chocolate or a ice cream 🍦 and sitting on those public seating areas you can enjoy the beautiful view of the beach with cold breeze 🍃🌬
I have attached few clicks in the beach 🏖 I have enjoyed my visit to the beach, hope u enjoy yours.

One of the best beaches in the U.K. Filey is small and elegant town. The beach is perfect. Miles of white sand and rocks. What a fantastic place to spend a few hours walking dogs. Dog friendly beach. Spotless clean. Easy parking. Check for low tide to enjoy the far end of the beach, perfect for seals and oyster catchers and other birds spotting. Also fantastic cliff top walk. Teas, coffees, ice-cream, drinks and fish & chips are available.

Really nice town. Lots of shops bars and restaurants. The beach is fantastic. Nice and clean. Lots of space. Dog friendly for parts of the year but no dogs allowed on the beach May-September.

Filey has a gorgeous large beach and is like a mini version of Whitby. I would love to visit again on a less windy day and walk more of the cliffs.
We went on a weekday in September and there was no crab or much of any seafood in the food places. They say they only bother at weekends out of season. My husband found a nice burger and I had a mediocre panini. We did get hot donuts on the way back though which were amazing.
