  You can get in the water, but there is a shore break to be careful and listen to the life guards!

  White Sand Beach with good facilities and lifeguards on duty. Calm water perfect for the family especially the little ones. Parking fee is $10 plus $5 per person paid at the kiosk in front.

  One of the best beaches hands down! Parking is no problem, the sand is clean and soft, and the water is super super clear. Family friendly beach ?️ LOVED IT!

  It feels like a private beach a lot of the time. It’s not, but it might as well be.

  We were staying at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel (as it was called in 2017) and the beach was really at our doorstep.

  I enjoyed running laps of the beach in the mornings.
  We enjoyed snorkelling at the North end of the beach, although we were warned of a shark on one day and the lifeguards had closed the beach.
  I lost and then later found a pair of sunglasses in the surf. My friend lost and never recovered his much more expensive sunglasses in the surf.

  Hapuna Beach shall forever be my beach of lost and found.

  Spectacular beach. When we were there the waves were really tame. Curious what others notice.
  It’s crowded. The sand is perfect.
  One of the things I look for in a beach is no or few rocks in the water at wading depth. This beach is great, at least the small section where we were. Almost no rocks to contend with while wading in.

  One of the most well known beaches in the world. That tourist from all around the world come to visit for it’s soft sand and crystal clear water and Panoramic views of Diamond Head,shops and restaurants all within a walking distance.   Great place for surfing at all times of day! The beach is always crowded but it’s to be expected considering all of the hotels around. And the sunsets here are amazing!

  One of the most picturesque of views in all of Oahu just be aware it’s going to get crazy crowded as the day goes on this is not the beach to go to for quiet and comfort but you’re here already and you would be doing a disservice to yourself to not go see the amazing view this beach offers

  Local beach with a straight up local vibe! Definitely a surfers hotspot and it was fun to watch the locals hang ten! The black sand is beautiful. No services and the road is very narrow, but a nice stop with a great view. Look for the tortoise swimming in the shallows. A beautiful natural spot.

  Great surf spot, lots of stairs down to the beach so be ready for a hike down and up if you have Keiki and/or a board. The river meets the ocean here, it is cold but calm water that Keiki like to play in. Sometimes the shore and sand changes after a storm and it is always a little different every time you go.

  Has bathrooms & showers. A really cold river on one side and ocean on the other. Hammock trees and lots driftwood and sea glass. Is ok small beach, water is really cold, & steep stairs to get down to beach. Limited roadside parking

  Bring your pup! This is such a perfect Hawaiian Beach for swimming. The hike in can have thorns on the path so wear thick sandals and check your dogs paws often. Plenty of room to find your own spot and if you get their early enough, you can even have some shade.

  One of the best beaches on the island in my opinion. You can either drive through Mauna Kea to get a parking permit (only 10 available so get there early) or park at Spencer’s beach and walk 0.5 mile (beautiful and easy hike!). There usually aren’t very many people and I have had the beach to myself many times. This is a dog friendly beach as well!
