  1. I am a wedding photographer and I love this beach for elopements and engagement sessions! It has tall grass and white sand, it’s so clean and looks like a picture-perfect slice of heaven. Boardwalk and a little bridge are perfect for romantic photos.

When I am not working I love coming here with my family for hikes and to relax and spend time smelling the ocean.

  2. I visited these wonderful beach today, the marking point in Google Maps navigate you to the parking place. So you can get out the car and start with hiking – it’s wonderful. There are some wooden paths and on some parts you go over sand. Today it was very windy, so it gives a lit middle waves. I really recommend it👍

  3. It’s a beautiful beach with gorgeous white sand like you would find down south. I will say that the water is ice cold everytime we have gone so most times we play more in the sand than in the water. Had some professional pictures taken at the beach recently and the pictures were breathtaking. This beach is definitely the perfect spot to take family photos! If you are looking for a beach that reminds you of your vacations down south, minus the water temperature this is that beach.

  4. We did not actually swim or play around here – the evening we reached we were tired and thought of returning the next day.
It’s not very big and was not very crowded for that matter.
The views were good and the water seemed enticing. There are actually 3 beaches connected by a boardwalk and all looked nice.
Past these 3 inter connected beaches is another nude one – another family warned us to stay away looking at our family.

  5. Beautiful beach!! Soft, White sand with very little rocks or seaweed. There are 3 beaches to check out along the nature walk. Should be more facilities considered how busy it gets. Lots of parking, and stunning views!

Probably the best experience I’ve had on a beach.
This was my first time ever visiting this beach, and my family and I stayed in our RV there for a couple nights here in the far parking lot, and as long as you keep your stuff clean and don’t act like a jerk then you should be just fine.

It’s absolutely beautiful here and this was my first Atlantic Experience in the water, and it being the 11th of September the water was 21°c and did not disappoint me.
Odin was shinging brightly on us all!

Beautiful big sandy beach. Lots of parking. Clean washrooms, quite a few picnic tables, even a covered area with power. (I need my coffee) I like that it has lifeguards. Only downside is the seaweed convers pretty early in the water, maybe at high tide it’s better.

Nice place to go for a winter walk on the beach if you can handle the cold. Parking is limited since the main gate is closed off in the off-season. There are a TON of dogs so make sure you have yours on a leash. I only saw one garbage can and the restroom was not usable.

Beautiful place for a walk. I went for a New Year walk when the weather was relatively warm and the fog was great – it set a very “Wuthering Heights” tone. Can’t wait to see what this beach is like in the summer!

Amazing view and beautiful sunset. This is a great beach to take the family. Nice sandy shoreline. An amazing salty breeze comes in handy on a hot day,but get there early. The parking lot fills up quickly. It’s also a good place for birdwatching.

Queensland Beach is a Beautiful, but small sandy beach, about a half hour drive from Halifax. When the tide is high there is not much room between the water and the rocks, but at low tide it’s plenty.
The water can be cold in the earlier months of summer but does warm up a bit. There is a good sized parking lot, It is dog friendly and has bathrooms/change rooms. It does get very packed most nice days during summer.

Lovely beach, easy to get to. If it’s sunny arrive early so as you can get in the car park, though there are other parking spots up for grabs on the road side. The usual wood hut washrooms, take your own food and drink as I only saw a icecream shack. Good fun !! Oh! And crazy busy on the weekends.

Beautiful spot for a short walk. A short bridge separates fresh water and the ocean. Was grateful there were change rooms as well as toilets on site.

It was 4° and beautiful. Watched a young woman swim as I sat wrapped up in a heavy sweater and hat and mitts. Magical!!
