If I could give it no stars I would. Came here to return school uniforms from an online purchase[of about $90], my daughter would no longer need them since her school changed to no uniforms. Bought another $80+ worth of clothing. Upon returning home [a 30+ min drive] I realized I was not refunded the right amount. Might not seem much but it is a $4.60+ difference. Emailed and called customer service to see how it could be resolved. I had to go back to the store. At the store, the manager couldn’t understand the issue, even after me explaining over and over. She said she needed to review camera footage for some reason and that would get a call back. Never did. About 2 weeks later I called back, Reggie answered, I explained the issue which he was very understanding, said I would get a call back. Never did, that was about 2 weeks ago. Steer clear of this place, not only do they lack customer service but their store is not up to par of other Childrens Place. Very crowded messy, and over all ghetto. [Continued review on RiverForest location]By Brenda Garcia (4 years ago)Horrible service worst employees, I went into this location today to buy an outfit for my daughter they had a sign that said 25% off the sweaters and in back of the sign for 25% off for the jeggings jeans so I guess promotion had ended but the sign was still up she’s going to say well it’s for the jeggings no because the sign is facing the sweaters and in the other side is facing the jeggings she would not honor the 25% percent for false advertisement. I ended up leaving and going to justice… I would never shop in this location again .By Marisela Sanchez (4 years ago)Worst location with the LAZIEST employees I’ve ever met.By SiSi M. (5 months ago)Omg I’m so mad at the system I pay my bill at the store cash and then I receive my next bill .they charge me late fees and they said I didn’t pay nathing…I paid cash at the store I didn’t have the receive no more so how I proved it that I paid …they didn’t do nothing so I close the account. This is bad sistema from 30 dollar that was left for my payment I end it paid 87 dollar for them mistake…this is stupidBy Diana Garcia (3 years ago)Very rude. Worst experince ever! Only came for a store pick up and the wait was ridiculous. One cashier and one person walking getting nothing done. Very unprofessional and unorganized.By S L (3 years ago)

They get ZERO STARS! Supervisor Donna/Danna (what ever her name tag said) gave me the worst experience ever as a customer her attitude was beyond anything I’ve seen in a retail employee.
I purchased some overalls in the store that was way more expensive than the online price. So before leaving the mall I decided id just return the overalls, buy them online do an in store pick up so that i can be honored the online price. I go back in to speak to the original cashier to ask her how the inventory works, because the overalls I purchased at the store was the last size so when I tried to check out it told me the item Was longer available. Before the cashier could even answer DONNA jumps in slams a book on the counter and tells her cashier “go finish ringing up the customer!” Proceeds to do what she thinks is a favor by giving me a one time pass of her honoring the online price. I mean she was livid with me! Never again will shop there just rude!
By MIA MEAN (7 months ago)The cashier must’ve been new. She was moving very slow. A customers bag went off when she got to the door because the cashier didn’t remove the censor. As The lady manager went through the bag she rudely asked who folded this woman’s clothes when it was obvious cause there was only one cashier. I feel as if she wanted to yell at the employee she should have did it in private. Then when I said this is ridiculous to my husband the cashier questioned me as though we were about to have a confrontation. VERY unprofessional and the store was super junkyBy The Hendrix Family (3 years ago)The store will not honor their online pricing which is significantly cheaper than in store. I asked if I could order online for store pickup and they said sure we’ll hold it right here. The only issue was now I needed to wait two hours for them to receive the order that was already paid for and sitting behind the counter.By Lisa Garza (9 months ago)1 Star= Love the clothes!
2 Star= Love the prices and promotions/coupons!
3= The cashier was fast and friendly.Less 2 star= Look! If you don’t like to work and even worse, you don’t like to “fold” t-shirts… You are in the wrong place. I don’t know your name, but I’m pretty sure that you are the manager… Your sarcam with my daughter and me, did not work and we could sense your frustration right away. You need to relax… or quit because you suck!!
By MELINA PEREYRA (3 years ago)They really need to add a neg star option. Manager at this store named JAZ is in need of serious customer service training. Beyond being rude and indifferent she literally has ni idea what customer service means. She makes me appreciate shopping at kohls even more. Save your money dont shop here unless you like being invisible or feeling like your interrupting her day by coming in the storeBy Azalea Plump (3 years ago)

Very Helpful Employees 💕 Especially a manager that works there idk her name but she had braids helped me with everything I needed I’ve read all these other reviews and I must say I’m shocked 🫤 sometimes it don’t be the workers it be the customers. When you give a hard time you will get a hard time. I’ve witnessed a lady stand in like 15 seconds and catch a attitude cause they are attending to other customers she said she had a pick up order well just because you have a pick up doesn’t mean you go first they attend to whoever in line. I’ve worked in retail so I know how it is, overall very good customer service.By Ontario Williams (2 months ago)If I could give no stars, I would. I had an ordered shipped to this store. Waited almost an hour and they cannot locate my order. The girl at the front counter was too busy on FaceTime talking and not paying attention to the customers: this is by far the worst childrens place I have ever shopped at.By TaeTae Adeniyi (3 months ago)People at the cashier very rude and very bad service it seem that they didn’t really wanted to help me since I’m Mexican and they were African American. But they did took their sweet time with helping another customer that was African American like them.By Maribel Aranda (a year ago)Worst customer service experience . You guys need to definitely to step it up . Find better ways to resolve your guys technical difficulties . Girl at register melody definitely need to check her attitude.By Anthony Mendo (a year ago)This location has really downgraded! The customer service deserves ZERO stars! I was not greeted , nor acknowledged by ANY of the THREE associates during my visit! The store was not organized, with the exception of the merchandise that was being put up. The store was not fully lit, to which I wondered if it was closing when I walked in. I had not shopped at this location for at least 2 years, service was not that bad back then. Overall, a bad experience at this location.By Laura L (2 years ago)

I placed an order online for my niece in Chicago and when the order was received it was wrong. My sister lives in Chicago and drove out to Orland Park to exchange due to the wrong item was received. The manager told my sister it is an error from the warehouse and could not help her. All she wanted to do was to exchange the item for the correct leggings. Managers name is Lorensia. (Not sure of spelling of name)The worst customer service we have ever received from Children’s Place.
The manager was asked several times are you sure you can’t help. She said no it’s a warehouse error. Not sure how Children’s Place error is our fault, but she wouldn’t help. The receipt was with the exchange and it still wasn’t good enough.
The store is also very disorganized.
Very Disappointing.By Cindy Shadden (5 months ago)Went into store yesterday evening. There was lack of knowledge amongst the staff. One cashier with 5 customers in line and 4 other staff members standing around including the manager on duty. I went to rerun an order I purchased on line with items in hand and order number and all cashier, manager, and other staff member told me I couldn’t get a refund because it’s reading “items returned” uh how?! I have everything here. Upon the return I was always making a purchase and asked if the items could be switch to a different size, I was told “no, we don’t do that here.” Therefore I proceeded and spent more money by making another purchase. Cashier act as if she couldn’t properly count the change to give back to me. Now back to the items getting refunded now the manager says I can do a switch but mind u mins earlier I was told I couldn’t so I made my purchase. At this point I felt they were trying to say I stole the items and were trying to return twice like how?! Here’s my bank card and here’s the items in my hand. There’s no direction for a line customers were all over crowding the register until an employee yells “the line starts here” another customer shouts well “arrows, or ropes would help.” Please hire ppl with customer service skills, math skills, and professionalismBy Darnell (4 weeks ago)My wife and I went to return a gift for our daughter. After reading the reviews we were concerned, but Stephanie and Gayla were professional and helpful.
THANK YOU!!By Rodger Jackson Jr (a week ago)The worst kids store on the planet thanks to the non-customer service skills of Patti and Donna. It’s a wonder this place is still open. But I’m sure at the rate these 2 are going it will be closed soon. They don’t know how to talk to customers. They act like they are doing you a favor by showing up to work. I assure you they are NOT! The aisles are tight! People can barely pass by each other. There are no clear check out lines. So much disorganization in that place that I will not return! I will drive 50 miles out of my way or shop on line just to avoid this location. Corporate needs to recognize that Patti and Donna are driving this place into the ground!By Jennifer M. (a year ago)This store is extremely overcrowded with tables and racks I could barely access the jeans so I walked out. Customer service did not exist. No spoke just into their own conversation.By nakisha fayson (3 months ago)

Worst customer service. Store associates are very rude
Good place to shop for children clothes all year around.
Hope a manager can see this. Today is Wednesday 26th and I was at woodfield store sometime around 6:30 to 7 pm. I experienced worst customer service ever. The cashier was very rude. Almost seems like someone forcing her to do the job. Asked her where the leggings are and she looks at me with disgusted look and say what and rudely say they are in the back. Once she finished helping with payment she throws the bag on the table and doesn’t say anything like do you want your receipt? Thank you? Super rude
My friend and found some nice outfits for her grandson. Prices were not bad considering other places this day in age.
