White Marsh Children’s Place NEEDS TO TO BE FULLY STAFFED !! It’s only two cashiers ! They move really slow and not many customers had a lot of items . I get it’s holiday season but at some point you need to remove all the clutter and have that store organized. Where is the GENERAL MANAGER OR STORE MANAGER. This is very unacceptable. I said no thanks this process is not something i would like to do again. Next thing i know she is being super snarky and slamming all my stuff around in front of my children. Had they not been with me i probably would have given her a piece of my mind and walked out with nothing. She was absolutely RIDICULOUS! She is definitely NOT an asset to the store. It’s a Saturday morning and there is nobody in the store, yet it’s trashed. The two employees are talking amongst themselves about their holiday even while people are in line. One was at the register and the other was stocking accessories and they were carrying personal conversations with the customers stuck in the middle. The cashier didn’t even let me push the button to get my receipt emailed, she just clicked print. On top of that the fitting room looks hazardous for a child’s place. Exposed metal, hole in the wall and a beverage with mold growing inside. Was told the items were not there and that I would get a confirmation text. A few hours later on the same day (Saturday), I get the confirmation text. The associate told me it was not in the back. There online store is horrible. I order and the they have my old address in the system i call them the next day to change the address which I could not do on the app they said once a order is place you cannot change or modified it even when it has not been ship up tillnow I have not received my stuff it been a week.By Fatty Kakay (7 months ago)I love children’s place. But this location : not so much. It’s very small but there’s a lot to choose from.
My issue is : the staff. They’re barely available if ever. Getting help at this location is rare. I ordered online and picked up at this location once and the lady who checked me out was not in the mood at all. She kept rolling her eyes and popping her gum.Ratchet. From now on I will just order to ship to my home instead.

They get ZERO stars. Currently sitting in my car outside of the Childrens Place Bowie location and no one is here. At least 10 customers have come and gone. I waited because I thought they were just running a little late but it has been over 30 mins and no one has showed up. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a pattern for this location. If they can’t staff it correctly close the store. It’s a waste of a customers time and gas to come out to a store that can’t open on time. Even UPS came by with a package but left without delivery. UNSAT
Edited: I went back later in the evening and the person there stated that it was because the manager was on vacation. I went to the store to pick up my granddaughter sandals and I had a bad experience with a phone call to the store where I was hung up on after my pick up order was fill hours after it was supposed to be filled the order was filled when the store closed. I ask who if the lady was the manager she stated yes, I asked for her name and the response was the manager stated she could not give me her name because it would in danger her safety! No problem I asked for the district manager information but would endanger the district manager if I was given there information. Staff moves ridiculously slow sometimes. I waited 30 min for a ship to store order that I already paid for. They talked to each other about who would check me out. 1 employee 8 people in line for 35 minutes. Finally opened another register but associate had to get help on how to use from 2 other employees. Cashiers holdkngg long casual conversations instead of focusing on clearing the line. When finally got to the register, no apology for the wait. No one acknowledged “the customer” in the store while shopping.
There isn’t much customer service here but the store is nicely stocked and very organized. The prices are very good too. I have noticed that it’s not the cleanest store. There is enough room to move a stroller around the racks which is really nice cause that’s not the case in a lot of stores. There is also an outside and inside the mall entrance.
Terrible experience every time I shop at this location. The store is always in shambles and is never up kept. It is impossible to find what you are looking for as the staff never maintains the shelves or clothing racks. Additionally trying to get an employee to assist you is pretty much impossible. I have tried to shop at this location multiple times to find cloths for my children, and every time I have left the store with only a small fraction of what I was looking for, and disheartened at the entire experience. You will have a much better time taking your business elsewhere.
Had a terrible experience with “Mr.Eric” tonight. I picked up an item for my son that was marked $6.78, but was located in the clearance section. The clearance section had 15+ signs located all over that noted clearance was an additional 60% off the lowest marked price. My item should have rang up as $2.17 based on the dozen plus signs located all over the store. When my item did not ring up as the correct price, I politely asked “Mr.Eric” why the additional 60% did not come off. He told me it had come off the original price. When I pointed out that the signs stated clearance was 60% off the LOWEST MARKED price he proceeded to argue with me. I’m not sure why he decided to make a big stink over $4, but I decided to leave without purchasing the item. It’s pretty scummy of Eric to not honor the signs located all over the store. I instead went to the Carter’s store across the hall and spend $50 because of the amazing customer service I experience at Carter’s. Skip Children’s Place and go to Carter’s instead!! They actually honor their sale prices at Carter’s.
Don’t even bother, I have been calling this store multiple times a day for the last two weeks almost every other day I call this store because I want to be sure my online order is there before driving up. Not one time has anyone answered the phone at this store and reading the comments about the instore service I can see why
