  1. THIS REVIEW IS MAINLY FOR CHILDRENS PLACE ONLINE STORE.
    The huge issue I have is the customer service which brings it down to a 1 though it should be zero.
    The most unprofessional and the worst way to show they don’t care about their customers is the fact that they do not refund nor will they do a reship of a lost or stolen package!
    Target, walmart, amazon so many other big stores will honor at least a refund but you could pay with your childrens place credit card online, have your package stolen and misdelivered and you’re left with no reimbursement!

    I cut my card right after hearing that! Luckily there are plenty of other childrens stores to shop at they also have better customer service which I highly value and walmarts new brand wonder nation has clothing that is identical and costs less.

    As for the acual store location it is cramped, too small for what they have, always messy and it’s a hit or miss if the sales associate will have any customer service.

  2. If I could give this store zero stars I would. I already don’t go into the store because it is a disaster area with clothes slung in piles all over the place. The staff doesn’t care about the store and only cares about the next girls gossip as the stand in the register cage and laugh and gossip and don’t pay attention to anyone or anything. So I had to get some Polo shirts for uniforms for school and figured why not, ill try online ordering. Well that was mistake #1. I ordered 8/14 and today is 8/22 and from day 1 to now it has said processing. So I called customer service to see if there was anything they could tell me. Maybe it was stuck or they didn’t have one of my shirts, or who knows what is going on. After sitting on hold for 53 minutes to talk to a representative i had a 3 minute conversation that went a little like this. “hi my name is heather, i did an order on this date and it is still showing processing. I need to know if there is a way that you can tell me what is going on with my order and why it has shown since day one that it is processing” she says “ok let me pull up your order… ok so i see that your order is processing.” I say “uh ok, i told you that, can you tell me when you will be sending this out? is there an issue with my order? I am waiting on this order because i need what is in the order.” she says “well i cannot see when it is going to be sent out, it looks like it is in processes and you have only waited 8 days you should get your order in 7 to 10 days. I say “uh OK, like i said i understand all of that, but as i stated i need to know if my order is going to be shipped soon because you now only have 2 days for my order to get to me.” she says “yes ma’am it is still processing.” At this point i am so frustrated that i wasted 53 minutes waiting for this non helpful person that gave me NO information. I say “cancel my order” she says OK i will send in a request to have this cancelled, you will receive an email in 48 hours letting you know if the cancel was accepted or if you are going to have to keep your items you ordered. By this time i was done and said OK, i expect the email. She says OK bye. i asked for a reference number and was told they don’t have one, they cannot give me her last name and there is no one that i can speak with to complain about her or this order. I just have to wait to see if maybe they send it out if maybe they cancel if maybe they ANYTHING. NEVER AGAIN.

  3. I used to believe this was the greatest store. Great sales. Good quality clothing.
    Then I ordered online and used the companies no rush pick up in store options and the next thing you know I was standing in line at the store trying to pick up and the manager at the Reno, NV Meadowood Mall
    Circle store named Darren refused to give me the items. Claims that the time for me to pick up the items had expired. I placed the order on October 28th. My bank account showed that the company took the money out of my account on October 31st, though Darren claims that was just a hold on my account (really it was taken out though, im smart enough to understand when its pending and when its been take out). It was now November 22nd and I was being told I didnt come and pick up my items in time (not even 30 days had gone by here people) and that he would have to charge me again if I wanted to walk out of the store with the items I had already paid for. Call me crazy, but I wasnt about to pay twice and i told the manager he was being a jerk on the way he was handling the situation. Next thing you know he tells me to leave because he can refuse my service, even though he already had my money for my online order. Ok, fine I leave. Come home and call customer service only to be told i would have to reorder the items. Wait what??? You have my money and i get nothing. How is this how anyone does business? I was told the refund will show up in my account in 7 to 10 business days, but if you want the items you must reorder. Why so I can pay your company twice and get nothing again.
    Shame on you Children’s Places for taking people money. What horrible policies and customer service your company holds. Never again will you see me in your stores. Never again will i say nice things about your company. Customers obviously mean nothing.

  4. If I could give this store a zero, I would. Placed an order online for pickup. I got the wrong order due to coincidence of someone having the same first and last name (just spelled differently). Yes, I should’ve opened the box, but they confirmed the order by checking my ID. Anyway, after 3 trips to pick up my order and speaking to an associate to confirm my order was ready, they put my items back on the shelf. They couldn’t give me my items or my $ back until speaking with the associate to see if my $ was returned (no $ had been returned to my account). Surprise, she was not at work and didn’t answer her phone. If I didn’t have to drive 40 minutes, it wouldn’t be a huge deal, but really?! Get it together Children’s Place and clean your store. Its a complete disaster and clearly your customer service stinks!

    Update…they tried getting my items back. Boots were gone and the associate argued with a customer who picked out the shirt I ordered for my daughter. Finally after an hour I got my money back. Never again.

  5. I love the jeans they have here for the kids they have elastic bands in the wait’s so you can make the pants smaller so they don’t fall down! The clothes are great prices and are very durable, the uniform section is awesome great quality clothes and great prices, I love shopping at the store! The store itself can be messy at times but it’s just because people ransack through it and they are so busy they don’t have enough time to follow behind everybody if you have the patience it’s worth the money you save!

    I don’t remember her name but there was a heavier set hispanic lady with long black hair that was just so rude. She didn’t acknowledge me when I was in the wrong line instead of telling me I was in the wrong line she yells out loud “next person in line” then Sighs and says 40 mins left. Very VERY unprofessional and rude and I wish her supervisor was there I would tell them they need to get a new associate. Why would you say this out loud with a store full of people shopping for their kids clothes. Don’t recommend this store at all unless you want to be treated like a peasant!

    Stood in line waiting for service today around 5:30 pm and I’m highly dissatisfied. Three associates working and two on registers with 3 people in line. Instead of handling the customers first one female associate decides she wants to go get her coworker into the system leaving 1 male associate now to tend to 3 customers. I put my items down and walked out. Could not believe how they conducted business. Not good because I like the children’s place but I refuse to stand in line and be treated like my money doesn’t matter. I can shop online and be nice to myself while doing so.

    Worst customer service! And to make matter worse it’s from management Kimberly. I made a purchase, short story- got charge twice .. no big deal it happens, a “the manager” said to call my bank and dispute it bcuz they won’t do anything or call customer service (which had a hard time finding a business card, wrote the number behind a piece of paper with DM name Becky Jech- very professional right? Will not be returning ever. The merchandise is so cute, but unless you pay cash and go to different store, it’s not worth going there.

    Worst customer service! Management had a terrible attitude and staff follows example. Last month I dared question the amount of my purchase when the buy one get one free did not ring up and mgmt told me the sign was wrong and refused to honor the price. I told her I felt it was unfair as I had seen the sign the day before with my child who wanted a few items amd come back to get them as a surprise. I asked her to honor the price as most stores would and she said no and proceeded to tell me that if I didn’t like it I didn’t have to shop there. I went back today to get a pair of boots for my daughter that showed they were available online in the local store when I could not find them I asked an associate for assistance and asked if she would check in the back. The associate told me they probably do not have any and that the stock room is a mess and walked away. I guess they do not need to make sales??? I will no longer spend my money with this company.

    As a first time customer at this Children’s Place store I was truly appalled at the manager Karina. She saw me waiting in line… didn’t greet me, didn’t excuse herself from making me wait and she just walked by me. Please note I was the only customer in line in an empty store. After all this another employee was stocking girl’s shoes and she told her from across the store, “you got this.” I was so disappointed at how this manager Karina treated me as a customer and on top of that to her team member.

    The clothing is very affordable and decent quality. The customer service unfortunately does not match the great deals and clothes. I stopped shopping at this location because they would follow me around the store. Call the mall security and have them stand by the door. They would ignore all of the non black customers and stand uncomfortably close to me while I shop. It sucks because I spend over $1,000 a year on clothes in just this store. If you are black be prepared to be followed while the manager loudly asks an employee to watch the cameras. I gave 2 stars because I like the clothes.

    Never received my order for back to school. Never was contacted in regards to my delivery. Also did an order for store pick up at Las Vegas south premium outlets. Went by the store twice after receiving an email that my order was ready for pick up, even on my last day to pick it up by the store associates kept saying that my item wasn’t in yet. Complete disaster. Won’t order from Children’s place again.
