Great deals and sales… Hard to find items… The sizes arent in the right spot.. and everything is bunched together… Store was ok though… Customer service was just ok… Probably wouldn’t go back to this location.. but its an ok store.. they have a lot to choose fromBy Angie (2 months ago)Unprofessional and trashy. It will take you forever to find what you’re looking for because their stuff are literally on the ground and mixed up! Also they bring their own kids to the store.By Jake J (4 months ago)I love this children’s place they have such a great selection and such a great management team, there they’re really on top of things.By Adam’s House Creations (3 months ago)My daughter & I stood in line for about 15 minutes because there was a lady in front of us with lots of clothes, coupons and multiple purchases. No big deal- we waited patiently. The cashier asked another employee to come up and help us. That employee asked us and the people behind us if we were cash or charge. She then proceeded to move us to another line and helped the people BEHIND us! I was still willing to be patient, but after another five minutes of waiting – I realized we had been waiting for 20 minutes. We left our clothes on the shelf and left. I doubt the employees cared, but this kind of thing is exactly why Childrens Place is struggling. They need to fix customer service badly.By Jennifer Tetlow (3 years ago)This is my first negative online review ever. As the other customers have said, customer service is extremely lacking at this particular location. A new associate tonight didn’t know how to make sure my order was applied to the rewards system. So my entire order (over $130) was finished and I received no rewards. When I asked for the manager, I expected her/him to be apologetic and quickly resolve the issue. Instead, she was extremely rude and inconsiderate and made excuses for the bad service. For the record, the manager was working tonight at 6:30 pm on March 2, 2019. If this is the manager training associates, I would see why you would continue to have customer service issues. My daughter left disappointed without any of the school clothes she needed.By Melanie Ross Levin (3 years ago)

This daycare is very patience and understanding when it comes to my children. I feel as though they have great teachers who actually care about my children and making sure they learn and respect others. They post when they’re closed weeks prior to that day. My children are excited about going and or looking forward to see their teachers and what’s in store for that day.By Tiffany Reid (a year ago)First I will say that most of the staff is wonderful. It’s unfortunate the owner (Marcella) is not. I was forced to find a new daycare in the middle of a global pandemic because she claims that my 3 year old won’t nap during nap time. The nap time is 1145am to 245 pm. This is completely unrealistic for anyone who actually knows what they are doing. She obviously does not. When my child then gets upset because she can’t sleep for 3 hours every single day wakes up other children. However the reason that this happens is because the daycare is so small. There’s no where for her to go when she wakes up. So I have to assume the owner just wants/needs a 3 hour break in the middle of the day. She honesty told us to start keeping my 3 year old up until 10 or 11 pm so maybe then she would sleep during their nap time. Now, I was also never notified that this was even a problem. Every piece of paperwork that was sent home stated she slept during nap time. On the second to last day she was at this daycare my child came home with a band aid over a laceration and bruising on her back. I was forced to sign an incident report saying she accidentally got pushed into a wall. This was also obviously a lie. She told me the name of the child that bit her and made it as clear as a 3 year can that she was bitten. This is absolutely unacceptable and I have to believe it is to hide it from us and any other authority. I am appalled at how not only my child, but myself and her mother were treated by the owner ( Marcella ) constantly being made to feel like my child was the problem when in fact it was her laziness, her lack of concern and her lack of ability to properly do her job. The teachers they have are amazing and I also feel bad for them to work under such a person. All I can say is to stay as far away from this so called daycare as humanly possible. Just imagine the type of person it takes, to force a 3 year old to leave in the middle of this global pandemic( both her mother and myself are essential workers) because a 3 year old won’t nap 3 hours a day. Really think about that.By Matthew Cobb (2 years ago)My daughter been at this daycare for awhile as of today she started her new daycare but besides that the owner (Marcella) of this place is not professional at all the daily report is not even close to what there day is like. Nap time 11:45AM- 2:45PM. That is way to long for a 3 year old even older children. So she said I had to find another daycare because my daughter didn’t sleep that whole time. And when she woke up she wanted to get up and they wouldn’t let her so she would get upset and cry and then wake all the other children up. The daycare is WAY to small there’s a paper thin wall dividing the preschool kids and the 2 year old classroom. Don’t get me wrong they have two very wonderful teachers Ms. Regina and Ms. Jamie they are awesome but she (Marcella) always nit picked at what my daughter has done. I would not recommend this daycare at all if your child needs a little extra TLC or even has any other Disabilities because she will make it seem like your (the parent) is NOT doing a good job parenting.By Alicia Vega (2 years ago)When I moved down to Millsboro; this place gave me a chance to become a teacher. I enjoy teaching children and watching them grow. Everyone is very professional and close knit. Very welcoming and understanding to all regardless of their situation. They have excellent teachers that work diligently to help children reach their milestones; helps prepare them for kindergarten. Anyone who is interested in childcare should give this place a try.By Kay-Kay Brown (a year ago)This place will chose to close no matter the circumstances!!
They are supposed to be the backbone of the working community! Taking care of our children while we provide!! That’s not the case here! Close, close, close, any reason they feel like making up. Anytime! Come get your kids! We’re tired and feel like closing, but keep paying your dues.By Jason Sadler (a year ago)

My grandkids started a couple months ago. This is their first time ever going to daycare and I chose this daycare because it was the only one that had openings in my area. Ms.Nikki barely puts up a good front. Today she showed her true colors as did I. I couldn’t take it anymore she’s ignorant and uncooperative. I will find out who Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell are since she said that’s who owns the company and let them know about their one star rating!!!!
The facts: Ms.Nikki told us we had to pay $50 every Monday starting this week. She said it really should’ve been $100 but she was cutting us a break and only charging us $50. None of this was mentioned when we first started. It was just after a couple weeks of them going when she brought it up.
Today would’ve been the first day we paid the $50. The reason that she was uncooperative was because I wanted to bring the money 10 minutes after the kids got dropped off by my daughter. She didn’t have cash that’s why I was bringing it but she refused to let them in without the $50 also they can’t get dropped off after nine which has been very inconvenient for us. Can’t even bring them in at 9:01 she will send them away. The point I’m trying to make is that she wants the money but she don’t want the kids any chance that she can send them away for any reason she will but they still get paid even though my granddaughters aren’t there. One time she closed early and didn’t tell us she was doing so until that day. There’s a lot of reasons I’m giving this daycare one star because I’m not even mentioning the several things my granddaughter told us that we’re going on in there I just can’t explain it without writing a book.By Nichole Russell (a year ago)My children went to this Daycare. The owner had family run in and out. My children had stated that they had to use the bathroom in front of each other because the bathroom had no privacy. Mind you , that this daycare goes up to 12 years of age so picture that when trying to use the bathroom and an older child is watching . Also , the staff were on the phone and my children frequently said children would cry and the staff did not care and never watched them. I took my children out because it was just trashy. It was 1 young daycare worker with 12 children. It’s a shame because I thought this would be a great daycare for the summer and it turned out to be the worst daycare in Delaware. Please do your research on the owner and this Daycare prior to paying!By KIWI LEMON (2 years ago)Smelled like old urine. When I went to pick up my grandson, there were several unattended screaming kids. Only one daycare worker to about 15 children (2 year olds). DO NOT recommend. I am considering calling heath authorities it appeared that dirty. For the price they charge on a weekly basis, not including supplies, i am appalled. I will go somewhere else– you should too. No Facebook page that is updated to communicate with parents or grandparents. No website. No email listed. Should have all been a clue to a poorly run establishment that has zero on line presence..By Max Gallow (5 years ago)Worst daycare in the state. They don’t follow daycare state guidelines, they are not clean at all. They never wipe down toys, tables and such. It’s a dirty place for workers and children.By Tayler Adams (3 years ago)This place disregarded the state teacher to child ratio. I quit and when I had to get a form from this place the owner called me a fruitcake. Very unprofessional.By Courtney Zimmerman (2 years ago)

There was plenty of merchandise available in store for purchase. The store was newt, clothes were folded and organized, and a range of sizes were availableBy Stephanie Dashiell Mayhew (a month ago)I have four children I purchase clothes for here and it definitely helps when I’m on a budget to use their credit card and it’s easy monthly payments, it doesn’t hurt to apply for the card regardless of credit you never know, also my credit limit went up recently and I have had it for less then a year. I am really loving this store. The staff is very kind and helpful!!By Ashley Lovely (4 years ago)This store is ridiculous. My daughter got two pairs of shorts that someone gave her for school they say childrens place on the label never been worn or washed and they are too big. Would love to exchange them for the same thing only smaller but the store says they dont carry any smaller size and wont even give me store credit or let me exchange for another item. What kind of store is this i have never heard of such bull. I will not be buying any thing from this store !By Melissa Joseph (4 years ago)Store very disappointing, empty of most important clothing items,, and cashier had an attitude.By Aisha Rob (a year ago)By Kim Jarvis (4 years ago)

Love children place.ordered a package online when retrieved receipt stated 6 sweaters, I asked if all6 were inside because the bag was small. I was told they were although when I got home to open the package to find only 3 of the sweaters inside the bag. Employee that answered informed me it was shipping fault not the stores … currently online waiting on customer service rep. to answer me so I know whether or not the other 3 will be coming otherwise I want a full refund upon returning the 3 I have.
Edit: on hold for 30mins 56 sec. I’m super annoyed. I just want to speak to a live person. Wouldn’t be a big deal except I was charged for all 6 sweaters . NOT COOL CHILDRENS PLACE NOT COOL!!!!!!
I love the children’s place low prices and if u go online and look up the item number if the online price is cheaper they will give it to u for the online price. Being a my rewards customer give u points for your purchases that eventually turn it to dollars. I love it there.
I wouldn’t even try to shop here. I order online and will pick up from the store but the store is so packed and clutter it’s makes it impossible to shop anyway. The staff is rude and doesn’t speak.
Love this store. But that staff is very rude. Next time I’ll just order from the website.
The store manager was extremely rude when trying to pick up an online order. A mistake was made where it was labeled as already picked up. The box with my name sat right in front of them while they asked for my order number 3x. Manger got smart when I asked how long will this take I have my little guy with me. She asked me to check my email again and told me if I didn’t get the pick up confirmation I would have no receipt. No apology, no accountability. I’ll never pick up in person to save 10% ever again. I will order strictly online. Staff are rude and unprofessional. To top it off one shirt from the order was missing lol. I can’t make this up. Customer service sent me $20 coupon for my trouble. Customer service on the phone at the 1800 number was super helpful.
