Awesome place for seafood! Don’t be afraid of the lines, they are quick and service is good. If you don’t know what to get they are friendly enough to make suggestions. We went on a Friday night and found a table with a view. Our food took like 10 min and was very hot and fresh. The gumbo was okay lacked flavor. The shrimp, fish and crab cakes were very delicious. The workers are quick to clean up tables and take away plates when your done. The sunset view was beautiful from the porch. We would definitely come again.By Raquel Garcia (9 months ago)Very casual restaurant on the water with indoor and outdoor seating. Self service dining, order at the counter setup. Lots of history in this place and good for a quick lunch, dinner or take away meal. Good drink selection as well and prices that are reasonable. Good for families or a decent place to catch the sunset. Fills up during busy season and parking in the area can be a challenge due to a cluster of other restaurants nearby. Not a bad place for a meal.By c “cfl” lane (4 weeks ago)In a beautiful location on the inlet under the causeway bridge. They have boat access and plenty of deck seating. They’ve been around since 1980 and have their original big board menu on display which is cool to see! Majority of food is fried. Wife and I split the combo and when we asked the cashier if it was big enough she very enthusiastically said that many people split it and it was enough for us both. She was great and absolutely correct! We would come back.By Richard Smith (4 months ago)It’s been a couple years since we have eaten here, and it Didn’t disappoint. They have new owners, and have made some changes. They now have an oyster bar next door that should be opening soon. And karaoke tonight. The fish and shrimp combo was my choice and the portions were more than enough. It was a pleasant evening. We will return.By david mcCue (2 months ago)Awesome place for seafood with a casual vibe. Great view out to the water. Get your own tarter sauce, cocktail sauce, and hot sauce. Large overflowing plates. My fish tacos were delicious and crispy. Half a dozen of fried oysters were also delicious. Highly reccomend!By Helen Hoang (a year ago)

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but we had a great time. There was a 20 min wait for a table but it went quickly and the rest of our service was great and quick. Our server, believe it was Destiny, was amazing and friendly and super great.
All the employees seemed great too. The decor is very cool and for a beach restaurant it was a very fun place with great staff, don’t usually get that so close to the water/tourist spots
The food wasn’t overly amazing or fancy, but it was good. The Diablo pasta wasn’t spicy enough according to my husband, but otherwise everything was delicious. And as long as you don’t get a fancy drink, everything is very reasonable priced. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area and hungryBy Brittany (7 months ago)This is a really great seafood place. Perfectly located near the tourist attractions. The fish here is tasty and the batter has just right the amount of crisp to it. The fried calamari was a treat and their fries are also delicious. They serve Big Red here which is definitely a huge plus. The staff here are friendly and fast. I’ll be coming back soon!By Russ Ramirez (9 months ago)We had the chicken fried chicken and baked potato. Chips and salsa for an appetizers. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We arrived at 9:20pm., and we weren’t to sure if we would get good service or whatever they had left over, because they close at 10pm. But there was nothing else open that we wanted to try. So we took a chance and glad we did. The food was fresh and delicious and our waitress was still energetic. We definitely recommend this restaurant on your next vacation.By Monique Washington (7 months ago)This little gem was located very close to where we were staying. Any place that has seafood queso on their menu is worth a try. The queso and salsa was absolutely delicious. The aloha burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were cooked fresh. The drink menu was pretty large and service was quick and Lo was attentive. Don’t miss out on stopping here for a great meal and good beach vibes.By Sandra Young (7 months ago)We had the pleasure of being served by Todd (I am bad with names and so truly hope I’m remembering correctly) at Blackbeard’s for dinner last night. The Baja fish tacos (HUGE) and shrimp and catfish basket were delicious! We’d come back for both; however, what made the dining experience even better was our attendant that evening. He was the epitome of warmth and hospitality and showed a genuine desire to make his guests comfortable. How lucky this establishment is to have him!By M. Camarillo (4 months ago)

Waitress was super nice very speedy! She seemed to read our minds when we needed something. Food was great I had the new york strip with potatoes must request “docs style” they put sauce and shrimp on top. Cooked perfect and the sauce was so good. Husband had tuna tacos which were very good. Also had live music and he sang very well. Overall great for a nice night out.
A nice fishy experience! With some beautiful views! This place has a great atmosphere with lots of room. With indoor and outdoor seating. The main entrance and the ToGo window are on the second level. So be ready to climb a few steps or use the Handicap accessible ramp! Great deck space with benches to wait when the place is a little busy. All in all worth a visit especially if you love some good sea food!!
My wife and I celebrated 31 years at Doc’s. We read the reviews about the wait time and were prepared. The wait was not too bad. My wife got drinks at the bar and we enjoyed the waterfront view.
We had the queso special with the crab guacamole as appetizers. They were really good.
I had the rib eye which was cooked wonderfully and tasted great. My wife had the crab stuffed flounder which she really liked.
We were given a complimentary piece of key lime pie for our special anniversary. It was wonderful.
Bryan was our server and took great care of us. He gave us a good rundown of the menu and his suggestions were on point. He really made the occasion better with his positive attitude.
Thanks Bryan and we wish you a long and happy marriage.
Great food! Had the stuffed flounder, son had the fish tacos and husband coconut shrimp-not fried. Plentiful portions. Fresh ingredients. Service for our meal was as expected-very friendly and first waitress was attentive. Ended our evening by coming back later for dessert, drinks and live music. Mixed drink awesome-watermelon and cucumber flavored. Atmosphere relaxing with great view of the sunset and water. Highly recommend!
Dropped in for Dinner on a Holiday and we were lucky enough to find them ope. Enjoyed a scrumptious “catch of the day” dinner and some refreshing beverages. The wait staff was friendly, attentive and helpful when it came to dish selections. Snagged a table near the water and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Great place for seafood that may be enjoyed in a variety of prep methods. Casual eatery that had a live musician to set the tone for a relaxing evening. Went during off season and so the seating and service was good. Show up earlier or be prepared to wait during busier seasons, the view and the food is worth the wait!
